I think you should be calling in that 9-7d hand not because of possible bluffs, but because you are beating people going for thin value. Your hand is better than a bluff catcher, only 4 cards in the deck have you beat. There are a bunch of people playing sets & two pairs this way as if they are the winners here, not considering them bluffs. Combine that with the number of cold bluffs like the one you ran into and I think a call becomes clearer every step of the way. I'm not sure if it actually hits the ~50% win rate needed for a positive EV call, but I think it's getting close, and running it through a solver might shed some light on the optimal play here.

Curious how you landed on $15 as a standard size. I've found Live/NH players to be sort of inelastic to sizing between 3-5 bb, but you've played them more than myself.

@ 5:18 i feel like you have too many better bluffs in that spot to be profitably jamming Ac3c. That jam makes sense with all sets, suited diamond holdings, all combos of J10 that you get here with, and any 87 that you get there with. Your value jams are only sets and those J10 straights, and they are perfectly balanced by the flush hands. Play seems a bit to loose and aggressive, especially at 1/3 where players call far too light. Just my 2 cents, keep killing it man! Got to play the MGM this weekend and its a great room.

I go to MGM all the time. Usually play 1/3 but sometimes 2/5.

At about 5:47 you have a set of 9s and you ask what you should do when the river completes 3 to a flush. You should do the following - "Bet enough so the villain calls with his weak hands and raises with his strong hands." (1) Betting will deter him from bluffing. (2) If he calls then you probably win the pot and make more money. (3) If he raises then just fold. That is how you handle these situations.

In position, flatting and not 3 betting with the QQ… that is not very +EV. Thought you made a good fold with 97♦️- it was a great bluff by him but 9 out of 10 times it isn’t a bluff. Great monologue - every $1/$3 & $2/$5 players should watch your vids.

On the 97s hand there's very few combos with a king in them that get to the river in a limped pot. Definitely under bluffed especially at 1/3, but it's kind of a situation where you both should know that the other person is unlikely to have a king. Some possibility they're betting a 9. Tough spot. Much easier if you've seen villain play a few hands. Not sure what I'd do with an unknown.

Love the bluff size with k3ss. Fold out all his missed draws and minimizing losses when villain has any pair since he’s probably calling most bet sizes when both draws misses and the board is paired. 👏

I feel like with your firsthand(diamond draw) check raising your draw and playing it a bit more aggressively would really win you a lot more money imo. And then when you miss your drop, you can bluff people off the pot by continuing the aggressive line
