New subscriber! To you and the Daphne’s Diary! I also get two magazines with the idea of cutting one and keeping one. I’ve made one so far, thanks for the inspiration. I will tag you when I create my next journal! I appreciate you!❤
These French journals are going to be so awesome! Love all the different covers. Having original French ephemeral will make these journals extra special!!! 😊
I have two pairs of scissors. One is heavy and cuts straight. I use the lighter one to cut things that are shapely. It's a wonderful talent to be able to cut straight! I can draw stars like a pro.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I do have a question. I used 10 pages from daphne diaries and 10 cardstock cream paper. After sewing it in the first couple of pages open up like an alligator. Is there a trick to keeping it flat or do you put a closure on it like a rubber band?
Hmm it might be the cardstock paper is thicker than what I use so it opens up instead of laying flat. But I would just put a book on top of it overnight to weigh it down so it stays closed by itself. Or you can definitely put a closure around it. I would probably use ribbon
I struggle with cutting straight all the time, love the journal.
Thank you so much!
I just use a paper trimmer, and it is so easy. I have trouble using my hands
