Wow I’ve never seen an iron chisel used on boot restoration, but if that’s what you’ve got to do then so be it! It all worked out in the end and they looked really good ✔️👍

@@frank921rivera it’s only cold if you leave it outside in the rain or snow.
I'm guessing the cold chisel is sort of loosening the dirt from around the sole stitching. I really enjoyed watching!

I have no idea how this video made it into my recommendations but, I'm sure glad it did. That restoration was amazing! Makes me rather upset with myself knowing now that beat up leather boots can be restored so well. I recently threw out two pairs of $300 leather work boots that were a little stained and worn down but nowhere near as rough looking as these boots were in the beginning. $600 down the drain, and $300 more spent on a new pair. All the while, I could've searched around my area and possibly found someone to restore them instead. Go figure. Live and learn I guess. Oh, and loving the Goku figure!

I think I've noticed a pattern with Goku in the background. The harder the boot is to restore, the more powerful Goku is.
I’m certain I simply don’t know about shoe maintenance and the tools associated with it, but is bro using a railroad nail to scrape off soap?
Dull edge.. butter knives are often used depending on the material to loose and scrape off debres caught in the fine material like suede.

Looks like some good ol dry wall/ceiling tile dust and paint, that or asphalt/cement work very nice turnout! Wish my boots could get a touch up ahaha! 👌🏼👌🏼
