Daenerys' theme is my favorite theme ever composed for a fictional character, but the music for the Greens is a close second. I feel so many emotions listening to this. Just amazing!

As someone who read the books this show gave me so much anxiety at times i had to pause. Grrm meant it when he said he liked grey characters, this is grey characters: the tvshow.
I mean, that is pretty much the theme of the entire show. The tragedy of an unnecessary war waged by former friends borne out of mistrust and misunderstanding that eventually topples a dynasty.

No one really wins except if you count a bloodline that then pretty much goes officially* extinct a hundred years later. The Greens are part of that tragedy so you're thematically correct in that analysis.

Alicent died with the thought of her daughter being queen so she ended up alright. All that was left on the throne was a broken kid too traumatised to rule properly.

Tyland, an absolute unit, withstood the most brutal mutilations by Rhaenyra's torturers and refused to tell them about the treasury. Remained loyal to Aegon II until the end and then faithfully served Aegon III to rebuild the realm. Meanwhile the Starks just have that pompous, warmongering douchebag Cregan who arrives late to the party and thinks he can judge everyone...
Wow that is really great. Everytime i listen to soundtracks i think it is not possible to leave the right appreciation. Im so impressed how GRRM thought this threw and how Ramin Djawadi brings it to music. Excited for Season 2. I rewatched GOT after S1 HotT. Theres a Scene where Joffrey spoils the story and Sharin Baratheon spoils the whole Show. But i wish for scenes where my mind is blown while im listening to a great soundtrack.
I wish I could isolate the first 3 minutes and 15 seconds or so into its own video because I'd play that on repeat until my brain oozed out my ears. I love the whole suite in general, but that's my favorite part.
The greens and Alicent have such a gorgeous soundtrack. I'm rooting for them (not Otto cause screw him). Edit: yeah I don't like Rhaenyra anymore. I'm full team Green because of Alicent.
It's such a good show that I found myself extremely conflicted over who I'd root for if this were a real event that occurred. That's the sheer talent behind the writing. Rhaenyra and Alicent are my two favourite characters.
