The amount of business this channel has brought to the car wizard just from Tyler's exposure must be astronomical.
Well, Wizard does have a yacht now.😆
Yep.. if you search Car Wizard he now has his own channel... its a different vibe from this one.. but i like it.
@@toddrasmussen13 actually several yachts
I think I remember him saying he’s booked months in advance now or something
Lol he also said it in this video
I heard the Wizard just bought an island.
Hoovie, I still keep saying that you NEED to contact Cummins when you hit a million miles and join their prestigious Million Mile Club!
His will probably be the nicest one listed
He needs this just for the badges.
FAKE, a original car that does 1 million miles, must have original engine, never touched, original gearbox, never opened, and origignal running gear... this has none off those..
@@graemejohnson9025 it's all original except the trans but yeah needs all 3 to count.
Minor repair. It will make it
I would highly recommend taking the time to check the timing gear on the Cadillac they used a neoprene coated gear from the factory that becomes very brittle over time and will shatter WITH NO WARNING. If that happens the engine will bend multiple valves and scrap the engine. I know from experience. If you take care of that issue the 500 Cadillac is pretty bullet proof if you can afford the Gas.
100% facts. Gm used the neo gears on several makes in that era. I've seen them go bad within a couple hundred miles, if the car sat for a long time and somebody just started using it again. It seems like happens to quite a few pristine, low mileage, garage kept cars some people get lucky like me and it shears before it even starts.
Stupid neoprene smh
Also the oil pump bolts on in that area and is a weak point.
@@southfloridaoffroadrecover7251 a higher volume pump also helps these engines live a long happy life I forgot to add that thanks for the reminder
*NEOPRENE*?! That's... interesting.
That 2500 Cummins has a really good tune on it. And you can tell because it performs the way it does, putting out that power and torque without blowing massive amounts of black smoke out of it. That means it was tuned correctly.
excess black smoke has a benefit of reducing EGT's by running richer which can keep components from cracking/failing due to heat during peak power demands.
@@wacabby Yes, which isn't needed in a 400hp engine, That is needed when you're pushing high hp at high RPMs.
A 400hp Cummins blowing a lot of smoke is just an over-tuned engine that is wasting fuel.
@@calvinh.8882 heh well it feels fun when making a lot of smoke
I’ve been watching for over five years now which is crazy to me. But at the end to see your garage with all your exotics is crazy to see. From the $500 Lincoln Town Car to now, it just blows my mind.
Totally agree...
Yo 🔥ua-cam.com/video/rdJ9bsN7JAw/v-deo.html.
What about that Chrysler lebaron
yup ever since the blue late 70s Lincoln that barely squeezed into the garage at hoovies old house 😂🤣
@@bigdog8993 remember he made that video with it where he crashed into Apollo 911 parallel parking
As a former contractor at Cummins Engines....I couldn't help but laugh here. Yep, I knew what it was and no, I didn't work in their plants or on their engines.....glad you didn't drive it back with that wide open fuel pump. Will be excited to see it stop at 999999 Haha or does it really roll over? We shall see...Haha. Go Hoovie/Car Wizard!!
i think that cluster is 7 digits
The sound of a Chrysler product starter turning and turning - know it well!
Its had that same sound for 40 years
It's a Cummins not a Chrysler product. I drive a t880 daycab with a Cummins x15. It's not a Chrysler either
Same
Sounding like a happy dolphin
@@andrewdonohue1853 you’re on crack my boy, while the engine isn’t a product of chrysler if you’ve ever worked on any Dodge, Ram, Chrysler all has Mopar stamped into the parts. All have it in the little window stickers. It’s all the same!!!!
Fix it up Hoovie and then get over the million mile mark! She's made it this far gotta keep her going
"The Ferrari and Lambo are broken at home" "Oh, no". 😂 Wizard can get another high priced boat.
All he was hearing was ching ching ching ching LOOOOOOOOOOOOL
I miss when an expensive car for him was still four figures. I enjoyed his channel more when he was buying crappy land yachts and fully depreciated luxury cars and had to fit them in a three car garage. He had money, sure, but he was buying cars an average person might buy. Now that he's got Lamborghinis and Ferraris and two Bentleys he's a bit out of touch. I sympathize with a $4000 Lincoln breaking down, not so much a $400000 Lamborghini.
That was the most willy Wonka esk "oh no" I've ever heard
I love this truck. This and the 49 Caddy are my favorites you’re doing right now
The 49 caddie is nice but I prefer the 59/60 El dorado.
Yo 🔥ua-cam.com/video/rdJ9bsN7JAw/v-deo.html.
…dude has owned so many cars and the 49 Cadillac is your favorite???
Whatever makes you happy lmao
@@paulcarmi8130 pretty sure I said “right now” and yeah, it’s a clean cool restomod, it’s interesting and it’s pretty. I don’t give a shit about unobtainable cars. Seeing something from a different era that’s been taken care of and modernized is way more interesting to me.
Wizard saying “30min job but Ill charge you an hour”😂
Unless I have to gas the boat up then it will be 10 hours.
Always round up !
Damn...even on the side of the road Hoovie can come up with content.

Does that turtle in the grass need to see the Car Wizzard?
Hoovie has an instinct that wat ever he is driving, it will break down sooner than later.
"...this thing is 999, 897 and... in a tow" Epic!
loved the show, but motortrend charged me twice for over a year for a subscription that only worked 50% of the time. When i brought the issues to their attention they just canceled my subscription and refunded me for just one month of 13 months i was charged for two subscriptions (one not being "scyned to the system".)
Thier customer service is aweful.
I love both your show and Roadkill, just not willing to deal with a shit app and the horrible people who run it.
That's MotorTrend. A company that ruined Roadkill and got greedy. I hope they don't do that to Hoovie's Garage.
Weird. I've not had issues? The App is a bit clunky, but I think Netflix and UA-cam have spoiled us.
@@tsp159 For me, the app worked about 50% of the time and gave me various errors when lauched. Even when it did work, casting as always an issue so i was stuck watching it on my phone. Additionally, the app would crash all the time. All that i could deal with, but the customer service couldnt. My "suppport ticket" was open for weeks on end and the solution at the end was to cancel my subscription without my knowlege and without a refund for 12/13 months i'd been subcribed and charged.
Thats the tip of the iceburg as far as issues ive had with them thoughout the last year. Staff was always been rude and unhelpful as well. Maybe I just have shit luck, but it left a really bad taste in my mouth; so much so that i will no longer watch my favorite shows because i refuse to give one more penny to the greedy people who now own them.
The innuendo between these two is epic.
Hoovies: how do you know this?
Wizard: Well, I am a wizard and everything
Just below 1,000,000 miles and you didn't get the Extended Warranty. Bummer!
Some people go for the mile high club. Hoovie goes for the million mile low club
This is one of my favorite Hoovies Garage videos. Happy Birthday!
No wonder the Wizard has a giant Yacht and shops for fancy paintings with Tyler as a customer the Wiz is a lucky man!!! Great vid Mr Hoovie
I don't think his boat qualifies as a yacht.
Happy birthday to you, Hoovie. I hope you make it to 56 like me on the 25th.
It’s a diesel. You drained the fuel lines and they need to be re-primed before the fuel pump will push the new fuel into the injectors.
This.
But then he couldn’t make a video
And lines and filters could be dirty now from crud of the bottom of the fuel tank.
Knowledge bro
It had a quarter tank when it was being towed. I guess you didn’t watch past the intro.
One of my favorite memories involves an Aztec. I went to go pick one up for junk and when I was hooking it up this dog, a Jack Russell terrier, practically demanded I play fetch with him.
My first thought is that you should always carry a spare fuel filter.
Used to watch his posts religiously...but now I think he is sacrificing cars just to get viewer response and the ALMIGHTY 👍
I would love to know the average $ per month Hoovie spent on auto repair over the last year :)
I think earlier this year he totaled it up in one episode, was like $120k for 2021
$10k a month about right. Not too bad for a fleet of “unreliable and cheap” vehicles.
@@mischiefpwns More like unreliable and expensive...
All tax deductible - business expenses
Happy birthday Tyler. I hope your cake didn't explode as well. I've had years like that. Everything with a motor all in one year. Best of luck.
Give that fuel pump a smack
Boy. I wonder who worked on your almost a million mile truck last.
Oh yes. The Wizard of Returns.
The thing I like best about Hoovies Garage is he doesn’t have to make click-bait titles for his videos. He’s the crazy Gringo That Delivers. Never disappointed.
Jay Leno has a full time mechanic on staff keeping up his fleet of cars. Tyler has the Wizard, the Ninja, And Vango to keep his hooptie fleet driving and looking good.
Being a diesel, 1 million isn't so much expected as optimistically anticipated. I'm happy for your miled up truck. I had a 94 Chevrolet S10 pick up truck in my twenties and practically lived in it. I'm sure my buddy and I put on at least 100,000 kms just driving around to skateparks together. I maintained it fairly well, always staying on top of the fluids. When I finally sold it to a friend who was building an S10 lowrider, it had clocked 552,000 kms. I got $160 for it and the interior got another life in a lowrider. That engine was amazing! 4.3 litre V6, automatic. The next year I believe came the vortec, and the simplicity was lost. The 94 was a delight to work on and I learned so much while I owned it. Ultimately the major problem cursing the truck in its later years was electrical issues caused by deteriorating trailer wiring to the hitch.
The 4.3s are excellent engines
So thaaaaaaaats where the Aztek went. I really wanted to buy it, was wondering why JR had it laying around so long without the buyer getting it haha
Hoovie: "All the big leaks from the shaft. you polished it and put it back in?"
Wiz: "Yep all the way deep"
How did you all miss this?
My friends brand new dually Cummins blew up the engine at 41 miles. Not 41k, but actually 41 miles. When the dealer was swapping in a replacement, dodge engineers came to the shop to take the engine away to investigate.
dodge "engineers"
by investigate you mean hide the evidence :P
@@sakaraist I’m no pretty sore they wanted to know what went wrong. They didn’t hide much since this friend is a highly respected engine builder and friends with SXS Blog guys.
Give magic Mike the Aston. He deserves it plus it’s a ticking time bomb 💣
Some dude in a Charger: Is he Hoovies with the Wizard?!... I´m gonna hammer it...
Hoovies: Just a V6... They wanna show off...
Me: bruh...
Glad to hear that the issue was relatively minor on your million mile Ram truck.
that caddy is such a cream puff it should always be a Keeper
imagine that mustang was a fan and he was trying to show off and he watches this later to see hoovie saying “it’s a v6”🤣
Challenger*
The Challenger driver would probably laugh.
That’s most probably what happened
Hoovies garage is fiilled with cars, can't beat mine, I can barely fit one car in my garage.
Towlie's garage filled with treasures of no value to anyone else.
You gotta prime the diesel i had one die on me the other day sucked! Had to get it towed
Put a gasoline soaked rag on the air filter. Safer than starting fluid
Not when it has an electric lift pump. It will prime itself.
Definitely the fuel pump. I had a 2005 Ram that had the pump running but not well enough to maintain pressure.
I'm not educated on Cummins so here's my guess. Has the shut off solenoid failed or the wire fallen off?
There's a regulatory system on the cp3 pump (high pressure pump mounted on the engine) I've had one fail on my 5.9, common issue that happens. It fails and tells the pump to put out no pressure and or it tells it to max out pressure which mine did causing it to sound like a knocking motor. Small sensor that causes the issue. Fairly simple to change
I was just thinking on your last video I watched, how this million mile beast was going.
So glad you uploaded this video.
Love your content mate. Cheers from 🇦🇺

Classic Hoopties Garage content.
Wizaaard
That is some awesome black smoke eminating from that truck.
Has to sell one of 3 Lamborghini.
Chooses not to sell the Murcielago because it has been more reliable.
The Murci immediately brakes down.
My first car in 1980 was a 1971 Buick GS 455 stage 1 convertible. It was a stump puller n beat Everything.
Nooo! I was wondering if there’d be an update on this thing
Take the Wiz for the million-mile roadtrip! Shake & Bake!!!
That blue Aztek is glorious, especially after JR cleaned out a hundred pounds of sand and sediment out of it

JR seriously brought that thing back from the dead, he went well above and beyond, I would have used some gas and a match, myself.

If you don’t believe cars are sentient beings, you should reevaluate your faulty opinions in light of this episode. Obvious to me the MGB gave the Cummins “breaking down” lessons.
Cars know when stuff is about to happen. My car tried to save me one night. I was heading to a calculus exam and it died in the road half a mile from my house. I cranked it for long enough that it started again and made it to my exam just in time. I didn't have a hope of passing the exam so it tried to save me from the stress. Still failed the exam but I never had any more trouble with the car.
You ran a Dyno test on an engine with a million miles!? 🤣
I've counted 120 cylinders reunited inside Hoovie's parking garage in this video.
Man you gotta get it fixed, the best looking 3rd gen dodge ram I've ever seen but the wheels need cleaned
He also needs to get that rust sanded down and painted before it gets worse.
@@mikeyslam0x193 haha that rust is from the inside. There's no metal behind it, it's rusted through. Typical on most pickup beds.
When you asked about any quirks with the Aston, you should've had a demuro meme
When he's happy, the video ends with music. When he's sad/stressed, it just ends.
"V6 really wanting to show off"
burn
Leave it with the Wizard overnight, he can fix it and take it on a 200 mile test drive🤣🤣🤣
Well fits on car issues
Happy Birthday Tyler!
Love your channel, been watching for many years!

I love how this man has over a million dollars worth of cars in the garage and the window looks like it has a sheet nailed up over it. Ha Ha Ha. I know your cars keep you broke but get a curtain rod man. JK
You’re right about the RAM‼️It will never make anywhere near 1,000,000 miles.
It was 300 miles short. It got close
Who thout reaching 1 milion miles will be easy, apparently they where way wrong.
Did you try yelling at it?

What a beautiful bus. Hell it’s broken, Tyler you legend
Dude I just love the wizard
Drive in reverse when clocking the 1 million miles, and install an auxiliary tank in the thing !
I love that Cadillac.
11:23 ignition coils do eventually just wear out, and that replacement cost is pure insanity! There are no alternatives?!?
U shouds really keep 4 cars max imo. Reliable 3 of them, 1 thats a great performer and handling car used for those sporty good weather drives. Your wifes car is perfect as one of the other 3.
time to sell of the rest.... then if u buy a 5th car, the 6 month rules apply, use it or sell it or another car.
Man that bill was more then every vehicle I've owned cost.
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas
station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel
pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in
the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems,
turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and
New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be
done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of
crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-(
In the United States, Porsche plans on selling ICE powered cars as long as they are allowed to build them and people will buy them. Electrics are best for the average non car enthusiast anyway. Premium makes will still sell "stink pots", don't worry.
How many transmissions have you been through on that piece of shit? My dad has one with about 500k on it, and he spends about a thousand bucks a month to keep it running. Several transmissions, fuel systems, full AC systems, you name it, if it's not the engine, he has replaced it many times. He's too stubborn to get something new even though it would be cheaper and nicer.
Low pressure fuel pump, should get the low pressure warning light add on
Hopefully you/wizard saved the good Aston coils and didn’t just toss them. Maybe tuck a few in the trunk JIC ;)
May want to invest in a Lexus LS just for a daily. 20+ cars that will all break eventually, and parts seems to be getting rare and expensive
Love the friendship between you and the wizard.😁
If its any consolation, you did hit a million in kms :D

I have seen my fair share of UA-cam ‘Set up’ videos, sadly Tyler seems to be sucking the money teat so badly it’s embarrassing. The Wizard is not too far behind.
I love MGB's. I've had SO . MANY. Last 1 had the Supercharged Engine from the SLK Merc
Never heard of that, that's seems a good fit.
@@shaunportlock4924 It fit like a glove, who ever did the swap did a good job. They just forgot to upgrade the brakes!!! which is the first job I did in my ownership
I think this was staged, too convenient. Frankly though Hoovie, I don't care. Make it or fake it you still have the Dumbest content on all of UA-cam and I love it
I'm having a hard time believing the internals are original.
I wouldn't be too surprised if it still has stock internals, but with those numbers there's no was it's still on factory injectors, someone went up a size or two at some point in time
No sympathy on that Murci, you should have kept the Diablo!
I like how he has over a million dollars of cars in the garage and a sheet as a curtain!classy!
VINwiki did a video a few months ago where they estimated the value of his collection. I don't remember but it was a couple million dollars.
I've got a bone stock cummins 500,000 miles on it with 1250ftlb and 500hp..well over 900 ftlbs! its in my 2019 kenworth t800 😁
Another great video from Hoovie. Thanks
All these people talking about running out of fuel and air in the lines cracks me up. You clearly didn't watch longer in the video where the wizards correctly diagnosed and fixes the issue.
Didn't watch the intro either. Gauge still shows 1/4 tank. Could of course be inaccurate, which I guess is the reason they tried adding more fuel.
You were sooooo close!!!
Tyler: Any quirks?
Doug pops in: THIIIIS is an Aston Martin Vanquish...
I was expecting, "And the features?" or something along those lines.
The Wizard is absolutely amazing.
