Amazing work! Historically, I find it incredible that no American soldiers died from the Battle of Trenton, there were 2 American deaths, but it was from the cold. Again, great work!
@Gunni Clardy the continental blue helped mask them in the snow, linear warfare actually had camouflage in that sense, but red was still very easy to see unless you buried yourself but then... The French did wear white
@@thesadslav419 the militia did. When France started sending guns and advisors over the Continental Army started fighting in the linear style while militia acted more as sharpshooters or light infantry due to many using the rifled musket or even the Kentucky rifle itself.
They also made sure to include the old colonial American flag with the Union Jack on it, as the painting of the crossing of the Delaware is actually not realistic, since the first "stars and stripes" flag had not yet been created.
Can I just say that I really, really appreciate the amount of effort you put into such miniscule details. The actual use of a ramrod and paper cartridge in the loading of a musket. The British affixing bayonets before the onslaught. The sheer amount of effort these possess is absolutely astounding, and I'm for-sure subscribing for this quality!
I think the gator would be a bad idea. The song said the gator lost his mind when they fired the cannonball. If that happened, it would be a pretty big mess to clean up.
I remember them all, I am a loyal subscriber, I remember your old pirate videos. You should do the same video only with your pirate videos, and have them all in order.
Wow! Amazing, detailed and historically as always! Your collection of different soldiers from different ages is incredible, as well as your skills to make detailed and wonderful videos that are just fun to watch.... Keep up the good work!
I find lego scenaries comfortable, that's one of the reasons i like so much stop montions, specially lego battles, but others i like too. Good freaking work
@Gunni Clardy hello? The USSR is no more that's something, the US is more powerful than China. If you want a nuclear war to happen then ok America will eventually enter in war.
Hey dude, I' m Riccardo and I follow your Channel by a long time ago . Cool video . Since you're a ww1 ' s fan ( I'm a fan too) and I'm italian, I want ask you that you make the Battle of caporetto . Please .
fantastic work. i love watching your animations. they've gotten me wanting to animate as well, though nothing so ambitious yet. one thing i do notice, is that when there's an explosion or a figure dies, none of the other figures turn to look at it for a second, or move to get out of the way. very minor flaw though still amazing
I and many other of your fans greatly appreciate the effort you put in to these. Lego stop motion takes lots of time and the fact that your willing to put that into this is amazing on your part.
4:48 Probably something worth noting: One of the few advantages that that the Americans had over the British in both the War of 1812, and the Revolutionary War was that they had skilled marksmen and snipers who were proficient at identifying and eliminating British officers. The American's ability to weaken the command structure of the British probably won them a few battles, as the British relied heavily on their strict discipline. In addition, I just want to say the commitment to the accurate loading process of the muzzle-loaders is fantastic, as well as the change from a slow match in the earlier battles to a pull-cord during the civil war on the cannons.
Ray,I was also going to add this. Francis Marion the swamp fox,and his band of volunteers that caused havoc against the British army during the Revolutionary War. Certainly snipers played a big part too,if they knew who to shoot at.
The battles of New Orleans and Shiloh also included significant contributions from the US river flotillas. The enfillade they laid on the British at New Orleans was particularly effective in keeping them from even reaching the US lines, for the most part (except in one area where they were repulsed by US marines). The gunboats Lexington and Tyler at Shiloh served important roles in keeping Pittsburgh Landing clear for reinforcements to continue landing as well as providing supporting fire to Grant's defensive line, which Prentiss' stand in the hornets next allowed them to establish. I'd love to see you revisit some of these battles now with more experience and resources and maybe doing an episode on the Tripoli campaign.
Fun Fact: American forces were so diverse during the Battle of New Orleans that orders had to be given in 4 different languages: English, French, Spanish and Choctaw
Hey guys, these are a few of my older stop-motions with improved editing and effects. Hope you enjoy!
Ok
Love the vids man

The only thing this was missing was an alligator being used as a cannon in the New Orleans one. Johnny Horton taught me that.
Gator being used as a cannon? That doesn’t even sound real.

My mum: Hey don't see videos about war.
Me: But mum, is a historic video with lego.
(Sorry for my por english)
Your attention to detail is incredible. But let me ask you from where do you purchase your LEGO, because your collection is absolutely amazing!
It’s prob eBay or amazon? Or a 3D printer. Just look up LEGO revolutionary war figures on google
They are either custom or pre-made (ordered)
Probably not 3D printed as things that are 3D printed typically have visible lines, since the printer prints in layers.
