I greatly appreciate this video, as thus far I have only ever aligned my Manafic and Embolden, so this is something I will be practicing a ton. Thanks!
2 minutes burst : uses Embolden after Enchanted Riposte, for 5230 potency under buffs. 4 minutes "burst" : only one melee combo, losing buffs on 1000 potency. 6 minutes burst : uses Embolden after Enchanted Redoublement, for 5140 potency under buffs. Every manafication after the first is losing potency by not having the 5% buff multiplied with other raid buffs, including Embolden. It's minor at best (5% on a full melee combo is 257 potency, so adding even 50% in a full raid buff party would only amount to 128 anyway) so the point of using Manafication on cooldown is only relevant when you can get one more use before the kill compared to saving it to align with Embolden. However, by using Manafication early, you forced yourself into a corner that caused you to lose raid buffs on a second melee combo at 4:08 and netting you a substantial loss. Heck, I had a little inkling and checked your recent gold parse on P10S. You held manafication up for the first 2 burst windows at least, because mechanics got in the way (mostly turrets), and you did the 5140 potency embolden cycle all throughout. I got directed here by a friend who's learning savage as a summoner and I'm playing RDM. So I'm curious to hear what you'd have to say about the inconsistent display of burst windows in this video, even if the main point was clearly to hammer in the idea of keeping Flèche and Sixte from ever drifting by making good use of accels and swift, if you ever stumble upon this comment.
the whole purpose of rushing manafication is to do it in a fight where you can gain a combo out of it (or two, in some ultimate cases) while accepting that your burst windows will be weaker due to this. gaining a whole combo over the course of a fight is preferable to having perfect buff value (i don’t have the math for you unfortunately, im writing this on my phone while on vacation). you would opt to do this rotation if your killtime falls between a manafication usage and an embolden usage in this table media.discordapp.net/attachments/318270813927112706/933655582148284457/unknown-48-1.jpg. if it doesn’t, you’d prefer to align it (as you saw me do in p10) for the ideal buff windows as there’s no opportunity cost
For the people struggeling with the tripple-melee-reopener you can also do a double melee-reopener, which is a dps-loss ofc but easier to execute. For that you go into your melee-combo when Embolden has 5secs. left on the cd, after Endoublement you can doubleweave any ogcd and Embolden, continue with Verflare/Verholy->Scourge->Resolution->Manafication->Melee-combo. Embolden will fall off right after the second Resolution.
This is probably obvious to you, but why not using acceleration after the first fleche to allign for c6 + get a proc? I can see the plan here I just don't get what would change if you do it like this
@@MazzXIV So would it not be more beneficial to use CaC and displacement early in the opener to get it rolling earlier and use C6 after? If it's gonna drift anyway.. Also this tier a lot of aoes are in the opener, would be a good place to weave addle instead of c6

This is incredible! Always learn a lot from your vids and twitch VODs. Would love to see a commentary on your thought process for savage fights.
great i will be using this incredible guide to get my first 8s clear 👍🏼
thanks Mazz for video, it explains a lot! 🤗
THANKS MAZZ
can we get a samurai dummy rotation
You need to talk clearer in your videos. hard to understand what you're saying

you'd be putting c6 on a different alignment to fleche, causing you to drift it more later in the rotation

the rotation used here doesnt look as finely tuned as Vi's. still a good video, highly recommended for beginners to learn
Now do one on a real class!
every class in the game requires skill. some less than others, especially rdm. but please respek the creator
Yeah! Like Ninja! 20 seconds of busy work, 40 seconds of sweet fuck-all. Now that's difficult!
