Not to get laughed outta the comments section but I can't believe they haven't started doing aero on these bikes yet at least a little and trying to save weight it seems the bikes weigh almost the same every year not down force just aero with all the bikes and riders being so close to each other just that .25% seems like it'd be huge

I feel a lot of the drag is created by the rider

@colinsutton7944 probably true I wasn't trying to be funny I was just trying to spitball because I know how technology is being pumped into motogp and idk I just thought maybe someone would've atleast tried it

It an interesting thought but I struggle to think of where they could that would be cost effective, could take punishment and wouldn't negatively effect the bike.
So you could save weight by maybe having a carbon fiber frame and rims but the expense would be astronomical and maybe wouldn't handle what riders need.
One of the first things you would look at for aerodynamics is bringing the wheel much closer to the mud guard but then you have no travel, same with the radiator shroud, you need that air directed inward for cooling. One other big thing for efficiency is maybe a solid rim instead of spokes like a tri-bike but then any wind over a jump will take the bike out from under you.
The reason they are a similar weight all the time is that they are basically as good as they can be for now, and are capped by price, can't use titanium and carbon for everything. I would wager if there was some new thing they could do to just be faster with the same horse power it's likely been given a thought

If you had a choice for free
Would you take 1 honda works edition or 2 brand new Suzuki's?

Easy answer, the best bike is the bike that fits your style and helps you feel the safest meaning you can push the fastest without making mental errorS. I’ve ridden then all and the Austrian bikes make me feel the safest and are by far the most predictable during races and practice. But that’s my style. Ride them all or a few of them and choose the one that makes you feel like you want to push right away that’s the best way to choose

Its been made perfectly clear the head isnt hand ported.. as in PORTED.. THE POCKETS ARE TOUCHED UP A BIT.. its not like if Race Tech ported the cylinder, it's barely touched.. It's not a port job! This is marketing Honda has commented on this topic.. same ole Honda other than the chassis change..

Looks nice as all Hondas do, but that weld in that shock or subframe mount always looks hacky to me. Surprised they haven't started making that from one part yet while meeting whatever their goal is with that change.
