As a person of Dwarven spirit I find clinking of hammers here very calming, like the whole composition. Thank you for this, I really enjoy it every time i listen to this composition.

Through the dark our lanterns shine, For our luck we praise the shrine, saph´re, em´rald, diamond, ruby Mountains are halls about to be In the night ,our smitheries glow In our Hammers rhythmic flow. In the Stone we search for Gold, In the Stone so rich and old. Swing your Hammers, swing them strong, In metal´s delight Forget what´s wrong, Find in the Stones the mountain´s crown, Down in the deep of dwarf mining town
I can't get enough of this piece. Its really hard to find this kind of music, I don't know why people don't make more. I really like the metallic sounds as percussion, people use them too rarely. The background beat and the start of the song makes me thing of really hardworking muscular dwarves and the more upbeat parts makes me think of Disney and his dwarves. This is really good.
Somehow, to no surprise, I keep coming across your music for years now and am always so pleased with how well you capture the feeling of specific settings! Your music is the perfect accompaniment for enhancing the experience of a lot of games I play.
I moved from the city, back to the house of my parents. Its an old farm house, but we don't own any land, so we reshape it into something new. Often we have to work with heavy machines, or huge amounts of stone and concrete. Every time, the work becomes particularly hard, this song plays in my head. Its such a mighty tune.
Erebor, The Lonely Mountain. Where the Longbeard Dwarfs came under the lead of Thrain I from the wraith of Balrog in the depths of Moria. Where gold, silver and jewels flew and filled it's Treasuries as well as the envy of their neighbors. And , etched on the throne of Thror, King Under The Mountain, was Arkenstone, The Heart Of The Mountain, the most prized possession of the Kings of Erebor, the beautiful, silver gem whose shine could match even the mythical Silmarils. Some even say that the Arkenstone was THE Silmaril, the same one that Maedhros thrown into the fiery chasm after the War of Wrath.
my father told me fairy tales about dwarves when I was like 4-5 years old about them working hard through the mines and being the "men of ivory", they short as they are , they are more powerful than us taller humans and also singed me a song of them working I can't remember how it was but it was really cool and now since then I admire so much the dwarves not just by their strength but also for being very wise each other and with nature and this song made me go back 10 years in the past just to remember what my dear father told and singed to me about these magnificent creatures so thank you so much for making me remember what I really watched and listened and yes I'm a 15 years old kid (thought everyone I was like 40 and even so at this age you're surprised cause every teenager is with craps like beat box and rap and other stupid stuff but in my case I do understand the old and I don't understand the new), so yeah you guys (derek & brandon fiechter) made not just my day, my whole life a miracle as bad as it is I pass through it and I don't give a damn about the thoughts of others that I'm different from others so congratulations and again thank you and god bless you have a great day my friends :'( :-D
Boy I'll tell you Brandon you do have a very clear understanding in your musical world that Tolkien-esque dwarf warriors would make enemies underestimate their stamina and strength by their size! And so working in mines is like good exercise eh? Nice treat.
I know this is synth, but its amazing how far synth has come! I've been in a wind ensemble for the past several years and it sounds just like a low brass section. Great job with this!
I can feel the very mountain vibrate from the countless pickaxes hitting the earth! And if I close my eyes, I can distantly hear the deep singing of the dwarven miners in the deep. Far beneath the mountain. It lays and waits. Gleaming in the lights like a star. .... Cant thing of the rest. XD Reply pls
I could work hours mining to this music, and the song alone along with some of my dwarfven brethren chanting along and that alone would be work encouragment alone.
+HighlandWinterWolf Same here. I would love to start up a forge, as a hobby at least, and would need some good music to go along with the work. So, what exactly are you planning on making? Or have you already started? I mean, I am late to the party.
definitely some of your best, Brandon!! Always a pleasure to see your new videos pop up on my subscriptions. Proudly added this to my Dwarven music playlist, publicly available on my channel.
Mighty axeswe wield, To us blocks of stone will-yield, While golden treasure is uncovered, And relics are revealed. gems,Silver, glittering gold, The Minesand tunnels of our ancestors unfold, while our forges glow red hot, The king under the mountain takes his final spot. From dungeons deep we have came, And over mountains cold, And so the dragon was slain, But our journey was not at an end,we were fooled.
Thebbookgirrl101 That is a wonderful poem and fits the dwarfs perfectly! Assuming that you composed it yourself, I think you did an excellent job. Keep up the great work! :)
Pretty sweet, I love this sort of music, it's just hard to find the artists that can do it right. I feel as if you do justice to this sort of genre and I commend you sir.
Such a huge sound from such little people. I think the first word that came to me was Epic! Fabulous drums, percussion and hoo-ha's . I loved it! I'm almost short enough to be a dwarf...I'm just lacking the beard ;) Brilliant piece Brandon!
Hey! I have what may be a strange request. I was hoping that I might be able to use bits of this track and others in timelapses within my UA-cam videos without receiving a copyright strike. I would definitely include links to your page and these videos.
Una auténtica maravilla de música querido Brandon!!! Me parece estar yo misma ahora escuchando a esos enanos contar cuentos de terror, tu música te transporta directamente alrededor de la fogata en la noche! Muchísimas gracias y muchos besos Amalia
Reminds me of either the theme of Ironforge from World of Warcraft (I played from the original release up until late in Wrath of the Lich King) or Orzammar from Dragon Age: Origins.
Lembra-me de Orzammar de Dragon Age......Grande melodia pelo caminho.!! Obrigada....Brandon Fiechter....Isto é mto óptimo.!! Realmente aprecio mto isso.!!
Thank you, Anna! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It also appears that my brother will be making another dwarf piece in the near future ... so, you can be waiting for it. :-)
Actually this reminds me a lot of the Orzammar Suite from Dragon Age, though that's not to say that's a bad thing. I love dwarven music and you did a good job with this one. ^^
Thanks for listening and commenting! I really appreciate it. I've never heard of Dragon Age before, but my dwarf piece probably does sound a bit like it. In any case, I'm glad you like it. Have a nice day! :)

Just the sound of hammer on metal is so, relaxing...

I'm a sucker for dwarven music. I just heard this for the first time and then went and bought your entire album on Amazon. Awesome!
Thanks for saying that! I appreciate it. Also, I'm working on a new dwarf album that only has dwarf music. :)
