Which one to buy for home recording Shure sv100 or bm800 ? Please assist.
is this direct recording to a phone?
Do you use phantom power / audio interface?
wow... this was clear and beautiful..
Thank you :)
I am recording with this mic, i have the UX2 interface (so Phantom 48V) and when I record it sounds AWFUL. Even with a compresor and equalized it sounds TERRIBLE! My phone records even better! The sound of the recording has very much reverb and sounds dulled. What should I do?
What audio interface did you pair it up with? Or did you use sound card? I'm planning to buy this one.
Man, I saw this video some time ago and I brought a mic like this on ebay. I have a tascam us 122mkII interface, but, my sound is very very low. Can you tell me something about your conections? Interface, and wherever more you used on this record. Thanks.
I used a Focusrite 18i8, nothing more. Did you turn the phantom power on? This mic needs it to work.
quick question when you record it how do you send it to other people to listen to for sampling. One more actually do you also have a kit you buy to add extra effects etc.
can you do a vocal demo with that mic?
Sorry for the late response. I cannot do it right now, but I'm pretty sure that somebody else did it. I think you'll find something on UA-cam.
Was phantom power (48v) turned on?
Can I use this mic (phantom power source connected ) with amplifier to sing and play together ? Can we Connect mic to Aux input of an amp ?
man que lindo som
Nice video dude... I have a questio, will this microphone work on my Behringer Q502 since its phantom power only provides 15 v, Thank you...
in case when i'm unable to feed enough phantom power can i use external sound card ? will it give better recording than mic to pc direct connection?
cheap condenser expensive guitar is different
Good sound dude
Does you used any sound card or directly connected to laptop ...???
And
Does you used any DAW software effect or its original raw sounds...??
is that directly to plug in pc/laptop or with soundcard??
What you think : BEHRINGER PS400 its good?
I really don't know that. The BM800 is pretty much a toy, but I'll be using it as a trash mic in some drum recordings and let you know about it.
how was your gainstage?
are your guitar plugging while recording
whats app you use?
Great! Do I need an audio interface for this?
Not necessarily. I mean, obviously if you need a good recording you'll definitely need an audio interface for this mic, but it can be connected to almost any laptop computer (given that the laptop has a mic/headset connection capable of driving 5v phantom power)
Thank you!
Unless you use a device capable if supplying phantom power, the level you get will be very low and the signal-to-noise ratio will be awful. But you can buy the Behringer UMC22 for around $40.00 and have phantom power plus a decent mic preamp.
I have one and use it on the daily, for recording...unless you have an audio interface and not just phantom power it will give you a bit of feedback. But for everyday use such as talking with friends or gaming, it is a great 20 dollar microphone.
Good luck ... I'm from Indonesia cover guitar
please make a video for audio processing after simply recording the guitar
audacity will be great
is it taffware BM800?
Is the song delicate by Damien Rice?
just sung along the entire video !
Yes! it is
i have tascam audio interface and samson mtr 1010a mic when i record acoustic guitar the sound is bad and there is a noise your video here is very very good compared with my video although my mic is more price than yours could you listen to my cover and told my the reason for this thanks
Man, I have have a tascam us 122mkII and a Bm800 like this. My soud is toooo far from this. Did you solve your problem? Lets get in touch and try to find a solution for the sound.
BM-8000 its good too?
The BM-700 and BM-800 are better, the BM-8000 has a tunnel shape that makes voice sound unnatural, I mean it still sound good, but not so real life like.
did you run it through an audio interface?
Yes, I used a Focusrite 18i8.
song?
Nice video.
Can someone help me? D:
So I bought a bm 800, but I got 2 problems, it has a white noise, and the voice sounds low, when I try to record my guitar it sounds "far", it IS plugged diretly in the pc, IF I get a phantom power will it solve the white noise and make it sounds louder and clear? Thanks.
Phantom power is not necesary (some pcs can supply 5 volts with the mic jack) , however it will be a lot better if you use full phantom power with a good interface.
Best option should be to buy an interface then, I guess.
Thank you.
what name music ??
I cant believe this thing is just $15, and the background static/noise is so minimal that adobe audition's noise reduction doesnt have to do a lot of work. i just bought this on ebay :D
me too, spent 23 bucks and got a mic and a stand
i spent like 23,43 dollars
Can I using this mic for live performance?
with classic mix?
If you're gonna do live performances for a school, or maybe at a bar, anywhere not that public it's fine for the use, and also i don't recommend using this if you're gonna need to do high notes, maybe some earth shaking low notes, but i doubt you'll do those with this... So if you're just using a guitar it should be fine, and also if you're gonna sing then it's either you sing using Bass-Baritone or Baritone level notes.
thanks man, but I buy the ... Blue Yeti Pro... its more expesive but quality is so perfect in contrast with this mic for home recording or ...pro in studio :)
Dávid Sejby Sabol Good choice
Keep in mind this is a 25$ mic. It's a toy, nothing more, but it can be extremely useful in real world studio application, e.g. a trash mic on drums.
Could I get a tab for this song? Sound amazing!
Krin Yongvongphaiboon it's a song from Damien Rice's album called "O". Check it out!
Thanks! You're awesome!
And you're too kind mate :) Best!

Helle sir,did you use phantom power?
do you used phantom power?
You can add one if you want. I havent done it my self but i think its a good choice.
were you using phantom power?
Yes, of course. This is a condenser mic, so it doesn't work without phantom power. This guy can use 5v phantom power from your laptop as well, if you have a connection for external headsets (which is likely to be on any recent laptop). Of course it works with 48v too, as it happens here.
thanks man im waiting for my mic to be shipped to me
Have some versions that only use a P2 cablo..
y
If you want a cheaper one you may buy an audio card.
