    Leggari Floor Kits were designed to transform your floors into something new and unique by coating your existing concrete, tile, or wood flooring. Floor Kits are fun and easy to install. You can have a designer floor that will last for decades in 2 days with our unique floor kits, custom made to your projects square footage.
    Learn about the floor installation process here:
    PREPPING THE SUBSTRATE OR SURFACE
    One of the best ways to prep your surface is diamond grinding. You can rent concrete grinders at most rental stores. The next best way is using an etching chemical to etch the surface of the concrete. You can also sand the surface if the before mentioned methods can’t be done. If you can only prep minimally or can’t prep at all we have a Prep Replacement Primer to help achieve a strong bond. We always recommend prepping the concrete surface first.
    PRIMING THE SUBSTRATE OR SURFACE
    Priming the floor is simple and fast. Mix your pre-measured primer then dip and roll the pigmented primer across the surface until the floor is completely pigmented. Wait 1 hr (or until tacky and not coming off to the touch) and start applying the Base Coat.
    METALLIC EPOXY COAT
    Applying the Base Coat and Highlights is the funnest part. Mix your pre-measured Base Coat, pour it out across the floor and begin to spread out the epoxy with your rubber squeegee getting it as even as you can. Our Epoxy self-levels so don’t worry about getting it perfectly even. Quickly roll over the surface with your paint roller to help even out the epoxy. Now mix your pre-measured highlight color and apply it to the base color, then blend it to your desired look.
    HIGH WEAR TOP COAT
    We offer 2 different gloss sheens in our Urethane Top Coat. The Top Coat comes with the option to have a High Gloss or a Matte Finish. It needs to be rolled out super thin and leaves a minor texture which gives it the extra durability. Apply it within 24 hrs of installing your floor kit or you will need to sand the surface before applying it.
    **APPLICATION DETAILS ARE ADDRESSED IN OUR TUTORIAL VIDEOS

    Hello friends, greetings from Venezuela. I have a question, yesterday I finished applying epoxy resin to a concrete counter, but today about 2 bubbles appeared on one main edge. Should I sand to eliminate those bubbles and very delicately and subtly inside the hole that will remain, I apply epoxy resin again??? It would be perfect. Or should I apply a full coat to the countertop? Please help...thanks in advance..

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 роки тому

      NO, if you have soft and sticky spots there is a chance the epoxy was not mixed all the way and could never get hard, so you would have to remove it and recoat!

    What is the process to fix the WB Polyurethene topcoat if it dried with some streaks and blotches? Just got done with a floor kit and used a gloss WB with grit additive. Its a little cloudy and we want to give it that shine as the final result!

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  10 місяців тому

      It would need sanded and re-applied. If it's cloudy it was applied too thick. The grit additive will dull the sheen a bit but it does add extra scratch resistance.

    • @robertanthonyjacobs
      @robertanthonyjacobs 10 місяців тому

      I thought so. Could you give me a few tips on the sanding method? Tips to reapply it? How long does the Topcoat last in the bucket and could I add more water too it after its been mixed and sits? Really appreciate the quick repsonse here!

      Sand 80- 120 grit repour the entire flour add desired veins benifit is now you can have under tones from the prior job, as well as your new veins and it wont take any where near as much resin

    I just got my epoxy floor done. The company could have been better. I came to her to confirm if those chucks and pieces were typical. It seems like they are when you don't sand. So now, I have to go behind them and sand for myself. I should have followed my first instinct and done it myself. Plus, I don't want to damage it. What about hairs? Would sanding help with that? Thanks guys!

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 місяці тому

      If there hairs and other minor imperfections in the floor we recommend lightly sanding them sown and then you can reapply your topcoat. This process might differ when using another company's products but this is how we address imperfections like the video shows💯💯

    Holy shit. I must be a natural. I've only poured a few sample pieces all came out perfect but my first time doing it on a project, a coffee table and I got uneven edges and over sanded and got some of the wood showing through the epoxy and just tried hitting those spots with the sharpie just like dude did it, little dabs and rub it in then did a clear coat with some color accents and those spots blended in perfect . I learned the hard way no matter how many perfect pours you do you can't get cocky and push things, my problem is I keep messing with the design. Cause every time I look at it I see something new that could look better or I question myself if the smallest details that Noone would ever notice but I do cause I'm examining my work so sometimes I push the working time to the last possible work time minutes.j guess my luck ran out.. trust your work and don't second guess yourself is the lesson I learned
