Dear Brother Trucker: I was just viewing your site for the first time, and wanted to thank you for the endless smiles and laughs you gave me. I'm a Canadian female OTR driver and I have a sidekick like you do that rides with me. We are off right now, because I'm awaiting surgery for a shoulder injury, along with waiting to see if a lump in my neck they found is Cancer. So looking out over the hood of your KW is Great medicine for me right now. Keep those tires flat side down, and the Good Lord in the jump seat. Take care and stay safe. ( CB- Double B)
I used to watch every video that Trucker Jukebox posted. But he stopped posting a couple of months ago. Then I found your videos! Like him, you have just about the right combination of commentary and driving footage. Like you, he drove with his dogs (2 little ankle biters). I especially loved the footage of that beautiful rest area north of San Antonio yesterday! That certainly wasn't there when I was driving. I had to medically retire at the end of 2001 while I was driving for Hill Bros. Trans. out of Omaha, NE. I just can't get over how many new truck stops there are now! Like that Love's at Topeka tonight. Oh well. Stay safe, keep trucking and loving that great family of yours! God bless.

Jose Dude, it is without a doubt incredible that I should be reading your comment about being a 71-year-old retired trucker. My age exactly and as well a retired trucker, although I retired early, as at age 45 because of a back injury. So I went back to school, retrained as an Architectural Engineer, and since totally retired. Love this UA-cam of Trucking With Schmidt, first time seeing any of your vids, keep on truckin'

Honestly I'm more into trains (hence the "railfan" bit on my username), as well as military stuff, course I do enjoy a lot of things, but I do think semi trucks are neat, and it would be cool to ride in one (though I wouldn't want to actually drive one). The snowfall kinda brings me vibes to some Novembers/Decembers in some years as early as 2013 when my family and I would be driving from Richmond, VA to Pittsburgh, PA to visit family, and by the time we get to Grantsville, MD, there'd be a light snowfall. I've been getting more into semi trucks this year, with the COVID-19 pandemic. Not just because of how truckers have been working their tails off to keep the economy going, but also because of this pandemic, I haven't been able to take a vacation all year, which sucks. I long to do some traveling sooner or later, and truck drivers are among the only people who still drive from place to place regularly, though for them, it's work. Still, I've been watching your videos along with BigRigTravels and a couple other trucker UA-camrs, because I feel like virtually riding along at least helps me a little. As always, thank you for these great videos that keep me and the others entertained. Happy trucking!
