    I had to use google to do the math, but $9800 Canadian is only $7100 US. That’s a deal!!

    If you put the pull down handle under the bungee, when you pull the handle down it will pull on the bungee and pull the sides in tighter :)

    I really like this camper. Back in February this year I approached just about every company in existence before ordering a GFC. Another company, Pacific
    Standard out of Portland OR. Try $15K American. My old truck only has so many options. I don't want to sacrifice my unborn children in order to go camping.

    I have a few questions about this sweet set up.
    Do you leave the tailgate and hatch open when you are sleeping? If not, hire do you open them from the inside?
    Secondly, if it is left open, how do you keep mosquitoes out?

    • @DirtTheory
      @DirtTheory  5 місяців тому

      You can latch the gate and hatch closed or open by sliding the glass window and sticking your arm out to open or close it.

    The GFC tent floor is a 4 part floor. A 60% fixed section, a 20% removable section and 2 10% removable sections. So you can just pull up one of those small 10% squares to get in and out at night.

    • @DirtTheory

    Looks very good. Love the price, small weight, t-slots everywhere, mesh layer ON THE OUTSIDE AS IT SUPPOSE TO BE!
    However, missing proper heat duct pass-thru openings on the bottom and ventilation openings on top. They must be on top to work properly.
    How does it hold against the dust and water? Any feedback yet?

      Get ready for first complaint. For what its being advertised for and the price tag(all 4 seasons-insulated) and not have the heater and sink standard already included but to have them as upgrated options? Yall already taking $7K plus Biden fees(taxes) which costs yall what, MAYBE $1000 for each unit to build but leave out the main advertising for winter camping which is the HEATER. Sure its insulated the parts inside truck bed but not the fabric which is where one sleeps, eats, relaxes, etc. So, why isnt the heater and/or sink just standard for each camper? Squeezing every penny from consumer but making it sound like its great deal at 600% mark up cost profit. Sorry, ill wait for other companies to make their version and sold cheaper with sink or heater standard. Great camper tho, does it work with Decked drawer system installed? Or this made for the Princess type trucks?@OverlandingOverLand

    I'll wait another year or two when other companies make their style for this mini camper. The prices will also come down, its simply basic marketing system. To spend over $7K and not have heater and sink only to choose them as extra options and spend more money. They advertise for winter insulation BUT not come standard with diesel heater on board??? STOP RIPPING OFF THE CUSTOMERS!! I'll build my own using mostly recycled wood with REAL insulation and not that spray foam they use which won't fully coat every square inch. Will this camper still work if guy has Decked drawers installed? Most truck owners don't have a complete empty bed when actually using their truck for what's built for. Only Princess drivers sparkle their truck up.
