  • Autism Society West Bengal (ASWB) advocates for provision of appropriate services to autistic persons and believes that parent empowerment will be a catalysing factor in this initiative. Several Parent and Child Empowerment (PACE) training programs are held every year at ASWB. Furthermore, ASWB runs a two-year Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) accredited regular course. Often many parents enrol in this course to gain more knowledge about autism so as to understand and support their child more effectively. The resource person of this webinar is Mr. Pranabesh Bhunia, Special Educator and Training Coordinator of the D Ed unit of ASWB.
ASWB is a parent-initiated NGO working for the education, skill development and empowerment of individuals with autism over 20 years. ASWB is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. ASWB actively participates in autism awareness events and champions for the rights of individuals with autism to participate in areas of education, employment & social events.
