This year here in Argentina the Super TC 2000 (one of our most important categories) also changed a V8 for a turbo engine of 4 cylinders. 🤦♂️😭

Comparando con el STC2000 aquí en Argentina , que están utilizando motores Oreca , el DTM logró un sonido y performance realmente muy superiores al STC2000
@@carlosdavalos6422 En eso estoy de acuerdo, por algo se gano en su lugar como la numero 1 de turismos desde hace mucho.
Por otro lado tambien algunos autos de rally turbo tienen sonidos estruendosos.

Mir geht es genauso. Die alten V8er waren schon super, aber nach der langen Zeit war es jetzt echt mal Zeit für was Neues - und die Vierzylinder-Turbos können sich auf jeden Fall hören lassen.
@@blue9ty Sind die Autos spürbar leiser wenn der Auspuff auf der anderen Seite ist? Das kommt so im Video rüber :) Aber ansonsten wie du schon sagst, es wurde Zeit für Veränderung!
@@Marko13099 Mir ist es an der Strecke eigentlich gar nicht aufgefallen.
Here comes the turbo anyway, However they sounds much better than current F1 cars because the don't have the MGU-H. Traditional turbo has a by-pass valve which will open and realese the engine nosie when turbo pressure is reaching demand. But the noise is dampened on F1 cars all the time becasue the MGU-H is trying to harvest ennergy from the turbo. Good new is, F1 is droping MGU-H in 2021 because it's just terrible, it's complicate, expansive and unrealiable (which is highly related to Alonso's GP2 engine). We will hear loud engines in F1 again, not as beautiful as V10 but will be much better than what we have now.
