Additional "fun" RNG: the 2 deathstacks near the 3 random blocking/non-blocking nodes have got random starting positions as well. In my case, they were 1 movement apart in the cycle. Which means it was impossible to try the middle node without fighting them. Guess which node was the good one. Exactly. :( Finally, I was forced to restart.
got a ton of exam for most of the week so now i gotta speedrun half of the event lol. also i got lazy and just used the scar setup from last mission and steamrolled the thing
In general, the SCAR example I used in e4ex will beat almost all normal non-ranking content, it is a very strong Echelon. Swap out the Tank as needed and SCARs will steamroll pretty much everything.
Thank you for your guides as always Serzha. Can I make a request? Is it possible to get a clear video foreach exploration floor from 25 to 35 showing weapons and components for each floor? I'd like to clear that content but I can only find a couple of written rows in the discord channel/google doc and I'm too stupid to clear it alone.
The whole reason I have not done this is because outside of recommending certain Talents for Vehicle Parts, I can't really show exact weapons (other than "Use a Cannon vs KKCO/Hydras"), because what Talents you have is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than which Component they are on most of the time. A general suggestion of what to do and what to bring can be found in the GZ Tower section of the Vehicle guide: docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vQENRjDL5jSjJgn0NlppjHlIt5jeV5a2GHplwrNOLSpL2FPazZCw2pNKYHK6P2Ip5v2yjA0Fqz4H75_/pub I cleared up to 34 or so with just random crap with the Talents I was looking for, and others have agreed that this is pretty much how it works. There is too much randomness in which Talents you get on which Parts. For example: You absolutely want Heavy Weapon Shields on one of your Heavy Weapons. For the Tank this means either of the two can have it, and whichever has it doesn't really matter too much. For the Mech you can only have one Heavy Weapon, and getting it on something that hits rapidly (like a Grenade Launcher) is optimal for constant HP Shield generation. You'd preferably have a Cannon on your Tank at all times, so having Heavy Weapon Shields on that means you could use whatever other Heavy Weapon has another Talent you want, while if you don't have Heavy Weapon Shields on a Cannon means that you need to use a Heavy Weapon with said Talent, and have something else on your Cannon. Similarly, having Shield Deflection vs Paradeus is really useful, but which Defense Component it's on really doesn't matter too much, just that you have it. Having both Shield Deflection and Armor (and possibly even Evasion, though even I don't have that yet) on a Defense Component means that is likely the optimal Component for you to use for Paradeus, no matter which one it is and what rarity it is (I was using a 3* Slat Armor until very recently). There's also certain niche Components that can be useful in some situations but are too hard to use to recommend generally (I cleared floor 34 Hydras with Explosive Reactive Armor, but the timing is way too tight and if you miss it you INSTANTLY die, because Vehicles do not have Crit Frames).
The final stage is easy enough on EX that you should do it on EX. You also get a Corrupted Core Mask which lets you choose a 5* Doll from a selection in the Shop. If you somehow cannot do it on EX, normal is practically identical but with weaker enemies.
Rex zero would work fine (though premod she's a bit worse than p22), with the caveat that the SG would have to be leader for her to shield them. I would still recommend you get (and raise) p22 for later, as she's permanently available in Isomer (Faith of Blood II).
Hi Serzha, I was wondering if I could ask for some input on team building. I started about a month ago and am trying to figure out a team to take on these higher missions. I just unlocked mods yesterday so none of my units are modded yet. I do have most of the AR team maxed and 416 is nearing there so I'm guessing I would try to compare your AR-15 mod 3 to one of them. I also only have low rarity hg like Makarov and Astra Revolver but they are there for the tile buff I suppose. The main question I had is would building the free SPAS-12 be better than CAWS? That is the only other shotgun I have so far but I haven't really messed with shotguns. The only thing I saw talking about CAWs was referring to dps rather than tanking. As for snipers I ended up getting quite a few (Because Type 88 won't come home T.T) I have been building springfield, M14, and Carcano M91/38 (the purple one). Are the latter two better for this than springfield? I would think Carcano would be but I saw something about her being a support/ boss killer rf than the main dps. I also have de lisle, m99, QBU-191, QBU-88, and SCAR-H (but not her sister) but I haven't really touched them other than linking dupes.
M91/38 is better and M14 is good at early game. For the others, most of them I think is pretty niche except SCAR-H when going with SCAR-L as they're a perfect boss shredder. Just use the one you have fully build. (Maxed skill, fully calibrated equipments, Maxed levels, etc.)
So first off, guide hub is here and you can find teambuilding guides from that easily: docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vRm5yR_cXKbM105z8O8MQAaU9EWmj9t8Sx7N-axvfQItmqzQIp6qz1cqVAqpuVHEP7C5Gu1vrDkNqQE/pub Mod prio page is here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ty239kyJbBs1sLhTo1JvSWuN0mIJsK1nwVdI6OLLtXo/view?rm=minimal With that out of the way: The HGs are chosen both for their tiles and their skills, the skills absolutely matter. SAA is given for free from career quest progression (T-Dolls, Grade III+, clear e4-4), you should have a free one at level 70 4-link or so (or if not, keep doing your main story). You can easily farm P22 from Isomer campaign (Faith of Blood II), though something like Mk23 or so could also work. Makarov is not usable premod, accuracy debuffs are not very useful. Astra is fine as a RoF buffer, but not really what we need here. My Star in this vod is using bad equipment, so if you just mod1 your star and fully enhance her HV ammo/VFL that should be a good start. Specifically for this vod: Sniper Fairy is the key to this map and what you should focus on if you want to clear it in time, only the skill level matters (skill level 10 with the fairy only at level 1 would be perfectly fine, skill level 7+ may work though I do not have that to test) as that is what allows us to kill the boss, and helps with the rest of the enemies. Remember you can repair before every fight. for SGs: SPAS-12 comes pre-leveled to 65 and is perfectly servicable as a generic SG. CAWS has 2 more Armor at max level, but just like with SPAS-12 her skill isn't really worth considering (neither SPAS-12 nor CAWS have useful skills). Again, SPAS-12 is perfectly fine as a starting SG, and you'll have chances to use Core Masks to get better SGs (crafting SGs is extremely expensive and not recommended before you have a good selection of 5* fairies). (LTLX would be the recommended option to Core Mask for when the next one rolls around) on RFs: M14/Springfield is fine enough for a first RFHG, but Springfield is not a good RF (you just get her pre-leveled, so that's why I use her in examples) Grape (Carcano M91/38) is absolutely amazing against non-elites (deletes non-elites with her 45x nuke), but is NOT good for bosses and elites (she kills Doppels, Gladiators, Minotaurus, etc in one hit, but only has a 3x mult against bosses and elite enemies). In this specific instance, the RF is there more to kill other things like the Grenadiers (the Sniper Fairy kills the boss), so Grape would be perfectly fine as Grenadiers are not elite. Also Type88 (Hanyang) is good and all when modded, but not the highest priority, again see the mod prio page. For the other RFs: M99 is useless, QBU-191 is mediocre (not worth it), QBU-88 is useless, and De Lisle is very very very niche and unlikely to be of too much use. SCAR-H is a VERY strong RF (30% extra damage for dolls on her tiles, which should be her + the other dps) passively, with a minor RoF buff in addition. She is absolutely best used together with SCAR-L (Unity skill enables SCAR-L to deal ridiculous amounts of damage), but is perfectly functional as a generic RF. Depending on how you approach the game, there may be some Dolls you want to dupe, and if you do want to consider duping, keep ALL COPIES OF SCARS. They are literally the strongest Dolls in the game at the current time. The two SCARs together are absolutely AMAZING, and linking them with duplicates rather than just using cores is a bit of a waste.
Yes, SCARs are some of the strongest dolls in the game and this video is showcasing some of the weaker (or easily accessible) ones for accessibility. Swapping to them would indeed make it easier.
More than 1 HOC hardly matters, HOCs are not single target DPS, you need 1 HOC to break her Force Shield and you could use a Mortar to help kill the summoned enemies, but other than that you just need actual DPS, which is provided by strong Dolls or Sniper Fairy (use Sniper Fairy). The example Echelon in this video is EXTREMELY weak, relying entirely on the power of Sniper Fairy (use Sniper Fairy). The boss is exactly the same as in e4ex other than having no escorts and 100% instead of 80% starting FS value, so adding in EMP lowering her stats by 90% she should be WAY easier to kill. If you killed her in e4ex and can't kill her in e5ex, you must've forgotten to bring something. If you show what you are using, it'd be possible to suggest improvements, but "maxed out meta squad" means absolutely nothing in this game, there are far too many Dolls who are good in specific situations and not in others.
3:19 LAMG jumpscare, if you blink you miss it lmao
Thankyou again Serza, I dont have much free time to play and these guides make clearing the events possible in what little I do.
Thank you for you effort, you helped us all those years and even made it with "budget" way for newbies, truely the Legend
Thank you as always Serzha! you're a blessing
Thanks for the guide, Serzha.

@Halera- Yeah, i've noticed that as well
surprisingly, i was able to go to the left without teleportation, lol :D
Thanks a lot Serzha.
Hope to see you again next event.
Thank you Serzha
NIXON'S BAAAAACK!
This one was really tricky since I keep forgetting to throw the emp on the boss or run into the deathstacks
got a ton of exam for most of the week so now i gotta speedrun half of the event lol. also i got lazy and just used the scar setup from last mission and steamrolled the thing

2 more campaign left.
Can you make a video about the best grinding method for the medal
Why use spas and not another shotgun? I’m just curious is the knock-back that valuable?
Sorry didn’t read description lol my apologies.
Is there a guide for this episode but for regular stages only?

Hey serzha, i can use rex zero as replacement for p22 for shield buffer?

@Serzha thanks for guideline fellas 🙏
hello, which elechon i should use in this battle
The author put his formation on the bottom of the video description.
In my case I used a MG/SG formation along with a maxed sniper fairy
Words cannot describe the level of hatred I have toward every single combat mission in this story beat. Absolute dogshit, each one.
I lost patience iwith this boss fight and just did it in easy mode.
The boss in e5ex is far easier than e4ex. You have an EMP here, making it pretty much trivial if you have a Sniper Fairy.
@@Serzha how the hell does her shield go down then i got 2 hocs and maxed out meta squad blasting her now for 13mins and she still not dead
