Thank you so much for this new information. Im on a 4 year countdown until I retire to Cozumel. This has been in my plans for 12 years. Your videos make me feel like I'm already there. Thank you.
Your pups are adorable!! I love the shot of the one that was in the bed. Looked like saying “you may not film me dad!” I would love to hear some about the process of bringing them there with you (if you had them prior to moving to Mexico) and of finding a rental that accepted your pets!!
We got them in Cozumel. They are brothers. It is simple to take them into the u.s. and not too hard to bring back into México. You just need their shot records. Most rentals all say pets accepted or no pets. Our two favorite sites on Facebook are long term rentals or just marketplace. Thanks for watching.
I just got to Cozumel. Last week before hurricane. I saw your video before I moved months ago. Can you tell me how you found your pace and how I could find a long term rental. I am in an Airbnb now. I have a small dog. Any help would be be greatly appreciated appreciated. Thank you. Bonnie 5:18
Are you able to get "short" term rental leases? Something say for 3 to 6 months or are there only 1 year leases? PS- I love y'alls videos and the information you provide.
Sounds very affordable! And I suppose the quality of life is good? No security concerns or problems with those pesky cruise ship tourists? ;) My daughter and I have really enjoyed Cozumel every time we have cruised there, our next cruise there will be end of November 2025(yikes, didn't realize it's that far off...lol)..Subbed so I can get more updates on living in Cozumel! 😁
The life here is very laid back. We have not had any negative security problems in 3 years. If you don't want to deal with the cruise ships just don't go up front until the evening. 😆 Thanks for watching.
I think your house is nice looks like you have everything you need $700.00 rental is not bad for that area.I'm hoping to retire to Mexico in about 5 years ,I'm leaning more towards Aijijic and the Lake Chapala area and also San Miguel de Allende area.
All of those areas sound nice. We like Cozumel because during the day if we go up front it's busy and very "American" but if we go further back it's definitely Mexico. Thanks for watching.
@@Cozumeleveryday My wife and I Love it there. We have been 3 times and 2 times this year already. We plan on returning in October. We are not yet at retiring age but want to move there bad. We are Christians and want to start a Bilingual Church on the island. Thank you for sharing your lives with us and the cost. We are trying to figure out how to move if not retiring yet. I make good money as a Union Bricklayer here but there they don't pay well for that. Plus, I do not know if I can work there. Thanks
I have been traveling to Coz for over 15 years now (yearly) and know plenty of locals AND expats who have lived there for years and they say they feel safer there than here in the states… the people there are even friendlier than most Mexican cities or towns. Have you seen the crime rate here vs Cozumel??? Thats an uneducated comment to say that. To our CozumelLiving family thanks for sharing all the info. We also are hoping to call Cozumel home very soon!
My wife and me are one of those annoying tourists from the cruise ships , ha! Seriously we've been to Cozumel three times and are about to be there again, we love it!

Better have a lot of money in the bank with that visa requirements
I could never find a cheap place to rent there but my favourite thing about Cozumel is the cyclopista around the island.
Not sure what your budget is but they have some very reasonable rentals but you usually have to go further back in the island.
The dentists are exceptional
In Cozumel.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes they are. I love how you get on a personal level with them. They will text you, call you back, etc.
Love the eye roll on “we don’t drink alot 😂😂😂
I get them often. 😆 Thanks for watching.

Great! Thanks! When you bring them into Mexico do you have to be crated? We would be coming from the US into Mexico.
Rather - do THEY have to be crated 🤪
Ours are so small they fly in an airline approved backpack carrier. You can check with your airline for their rules.

Several places offer a 6 month lease. You save money the longer the lease. Thanks for the compliment and for watching.
So what do you do for dental or medical visits? Go to local providers? How does insurance work?
With dental we just pay cash. Insurance works the same here. They have great dental and medical providers here and they are a lot cheaper.
@@Cozumeleveryday What seems to be the best route for health insurance?
@@ShawnGralla I'm not sure. I have Dan which is a divers insurance. It covers a lot

It can get in the upper 90s but the ocean breeze helps a lot. Thanks for watching.

What seems to be the best method at present to have access to ones dollars in USA and use them in Mexico? I see many ideas and opinions.
@@ShawnGralla if you are asking about getting American money here in Mexico, you can get that from an ATM.
Thank you!

Yes they are very accepting. The hardest part is getting your business legalized. Thanks for watching.

Is your rent paid in pesos or usd? What items have to be paid in pesos? TIA
We pay everything in pesos. It is actually cheaper in most places to use pesos.
Do you travel anywhere in Mexico? Outside of Mexico?
Yes we have several videos of us driving our motorcycle through Mexico.
Do you have a website or something to contact someone that can find rentals house or apartments or condo ?
We like cozumel long term rentals on Facebook and Facebook marketplace. Thanks for watching.
Good information. Do you plan to buy property?
Not yet but who knows. 😆 Thanks for watching.
Nice to see an actual couple living abroad… most are old men with a native girl half their age, living in Thailand or wherever..😂😂😂
