- This chocolate mousse is so rich and creamy....you won't believe it's actually healthy-ish. It's made with coconut cream instead of heavy whipping cream... cacao powder instead of conventional cocoa powder, and sweetened with raw sugar verses processed white sugar. Give it a try! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this quick and easy, velvety chocolate mousse recipe.
RICH AND CREAMY (DAIRY FREE!) CHOCOLATE MOUSSE recipe-
Refrigerate 1 can coconut cream overnight. I use Thai Kitchen Brand. Leave in frig until ready to use.
Blend 1/3 cup raw turbinado sugar in blender until a powder (this will mix smoothly into your coconut cream) set aside
Remove coconut cream from frig, open and scoop out the cream that has risen to the top into a mixing bowl. Leave all coconut water behind. Save and use for smoothie.
Blend on high using an electric mixer/Kitchen Aid mixer until soft peaks form, 5 minutes or so.
Add 4 Tbsp of your powdered raw sugar, 4 Tbsp cacao powder, 3/4 tsp vanilla, blend until smooth.
Fill dessert cups and chill 20 minutes before serving. - Навчання та стиль
