Dude no joke one time I paid the pizza delivery guy less money thinking I'm giving him enough and a tip along with it. Looked at the receipt and noticed I was paying around 50 cents less (in a different currency) had to run after the dude before he drove off and gave him extra. When I asked him why he didn't tell me, he was like. "It's okay it's only 50 cents I'll cover it" Why would someone be an asshole to the pizza delivery guy ;-;
Yup, been there done that, not worth it for a few dollars, I would remember to count out their money next time though. We never had anything mess with the food either in my 11 years in pizza delivery. Mostly good memories from very generous and friendly people.
The thing is, the bill was for $42. They gave him $50, part of which were a couple of $5 bills. So, if they didn't want to give a tip, they should have not given him the extra $5; they should have given him $45, and waited for their change. It is reasonable for the driver to assume that since they had that unnecessary $5 in there, it was all tip.
update: F&R Auto Sales is now officially out of business. The town refused to renew the owners license to operate after all the complaints were received. Justice was served.

As of 2017 the city actually forced them to close. They had over 100 complaints and several pending lawsuits for selling unsafe cars, bad customer service and then that video went viral. So the city decided that was not a business they want associated with their town and forced them to close.
I never did, as a server, but absolutely can confirm. If you don't know to not talk shit to low level staff...at least know to do it AFTER you've received ALL your food items. And this will piss some off but....if you decide to NEVER tip and go to the same place every week, multiple times a week........yeeeeeah. Don't hate the messenger. I'm just so damn confused what was going on in their heads. They gave him 2 $20's & 2 $5 for a $43 order. Any normal person would assume that's a tip because why would you not just take the extra $5 out before handing it to him? They're all complete morons.

The more embarrassing thing about this was they were the ones who actually posted the video with the intention of embarrassing the delivery guy. lol that worked out well for them.
Steven Foster I understand they whent over board with the issue. But the pizza delivery guy should had given back the proper change and not just walked away assuming the change is his. You wait for your tip, you do not tip your self. And as for the other people they were very in humane. Everyone got what they deserved. A lesson taught on both sides. As for the public dont be so biased look at both sides of the story. This is why the general public needs to be blocked from leaving reviews. People only look at things from one side only and make quick conclusions. The delivery guy did wrong by walking away with change, and not giving back the proper change. But the sheeps of america thought he was an angel and even collected $7,000+ for him. I would like to see the publics reaction and outcry when their delivery guy decides to just walk away with change and tip him self and then have the nerve to act mad because you called him back requesting your change. I would put my foot up his ass to.
THE TRIVIADOG So, speaking of learning math, let’s take a step back and apply logic to this situation. The total cost was $42. The people handed him TWO $20 bills and TWO $5 bills, which equals $50. If they did not intend to tip him any money, why would they have handed him that second $5 bill? I get it. I deal with it daily. I tip extra for delivery people, always.
I’m a delivery driver, and I love my job. But y’all would be surprised by how many no tips and extremely low tips we get. I think the lowest tip I’ve gotten (minus a no tip) was 25 cents, and that’s because we don’t carry coins on us. Some days are great, some days are terrible.

It's the fact that there was an extra $5 bill. The delivery rightfully assumed that was the tip plus $2 more.

America does have a for shit education system because it does more to put people in debt than improve their lives. Also, the better part of the problem is that Americans for the most part are quick to assume rather than read. I’m not one of those people.

they actually were forced to close the business a few years later, the owner lost his sales license, and was forced to pay back $450,000 to customers for ripping customers off. Police had been to the place over 350 times, mostly over the owner being violent towards customers. he tried to get his license back last Feb, but was denied.

Best part, they went out of business and had to sell off to a new owner who completely turned the place around and replaced everyone.
I’m not defending the car sales but shouldn’t all delivery drivers carry change incase of situations like this? I was a delivery driver and the store gives me change incase the customer doesn’t have the exact amount. The store would have given me 7 or 17 incase the customer had 50 or 60.
D. Rüesch of course they knew it, they sell cars and get commissions for doing so, that’s like a big tip.
Lily getting commissions from selling a car isn’t a tip. That’s thier only income. Car sales don’t pay hourly.
D. Rüesch thats weird where I’m from the only time you get a tip is if it’s like fact food like curry or something. Fast food like burgers or pizzas I barely got any tips.
Makes a big deal about 7 dollars in change, loses whole business and the guy gets 10 grand from donations...
Jeromepkr they probably still can’t eat pizza to this day without thinking about this 😂
Karma’s a b*tch
Sw-Jichumochi.... are you sure??? Because thats like if my bill was $20, I give you $20 and then I give you $10 extra. Being a pizza delivery driver (where people tip often) you would assume it was a tip if they didn’t clarify. What other logical reason would I give you an extra $10 that you’re just going to hand right back to me?

I have to assume they received death threats and/or swatting threats because that's what some people on the internet are like and take stuff too far.
@@samthompson3714 I get that, but in their defense, it’s not hard to get fired up watching this. Humans are generally terrible by nature, and seeing something like this just backs that up. Humans are insecure tyrants who like hurting others. In my opinion, the pizza delivery guy was well within his rights to start throwing haymakers at ever fuckhead in that office. That’s the best they deserve. I hope this video haunts them for the rest of their natural life.
@@omcorc sure I get that its easy to get fired up but I think its always best to equal your response to the initial issue otherwise you end up with cyclic escalation and thats how real problems end up happening. Outside of the context you would say somebody receiving a death threat puts them well within their rights to respond somehow so you can see how that would become cyclic. This happens a lot and its honestly sad because I mean there are instances of people getting killed over what started as an incredibly minor transgression and escalated to murder.
At the end of the day the staff were scumbags but they got what they asked for no need for anyone to try to 1 up the repercussions.
If the pizza guy threw hands he'd be charged for aggregated assault. He'd also be wildly outnumbered and risking his life. I'm sure I shouldn't be taking it this seriously but idk just seen too many people react like that recklessly and it doesn't ever end well.
