how great to have those lovely potteries nearby. we have nothing like that here in Michigan. such lovely patterns and colors; love the black peacock!! do they ship to America?? 🫖🤓thanks for sharing👍👏
I know, it's heavenly! I think Burleigh does ship to the USA but you will definitely find out more by visiting their website (linked it in the info box below the video).
FYI..I live in Arizona and I purchase the Burleigh black regal peacock from Ann Marie"a in Minocqua, WI, they have a website and that is the only shop I found in the US that sells the black. The Bee's Knees in Action MA sells Burleigh but not the black...Have checked the shipping from Burleigh factory in the UK, shipping and taxes were crazy expensive..Good luck..love the black regal peacock china too and started collecting it a couple of years ago thanks to Kirsten recommendation. Yvonne, I'm also in Michigan and would love to have this available. I hope to make a trek to Wisconsin next summer, going up through the Upper Peninsula and over to Minoqua to see what's in the shop there.

Hi Kirsten and Joerg from Norfolk! I think you will find the big cups are referred to as Breakfast Cups. About 30 years ago there were so many more potteries than now. Such a shame so much is now produced overseas. Always enjoy seeing your purchases.
Realmente nada como uma mesa posta com porcelanas ou cerâmicas "lindas" como essas...até o sabor fica mais agradável, fora a beleza de encher os olhos. Eu tenho um jogo de chá e café, azul, "lindo" The Old Mill made England By Johnson Bros, já bem antigo, com a clássica cena do castelo e moinho d'água. I have recently started collecting Bridgewater pottery. I have the Black Toast Tea pot, 2 large Tea cups with saucers, three mugs , a dragonfly mug and dandelion mug. After seeing you at the pottery factory and following a British artist who has a very extensive Black Toast collection I have become an avid fan.
Oh I truely would like to have gone on that trip. Y'all just are so cute shopping together especially when you have so much love and enjoyment. Several years ago I began liking a style called Chintz. It's so colorful and can be played with so many styles of plain colors. Actually I had no room to display any so I never pursued it. I did enjoy reading about people who do collect it. The tea pot you purchased was lovely oh dear I just thought it so pretty! I know your time was so much fun. I can hear in your voice what a great day it was. It is August here and it is rainy and overcast but never mind I enjoy the rain very much. I will close for now. I hope to be watching your trips again. Be well and safe you two.
It's so wonderful that you both enjoy lots of the same things such as travel, pottery, decorating, books, etc. Thank you!
So Beautiful dishies! This is what I need to buy during my closest trip to the UK. Thank You for the video.
I love that you enjoy your things EVERYDAY and do not save them for a special occasion. Why not enjoy them if they bring you a bit of joy each day. Thank you for the reminder!
Love your choice of music for the video ❤️ beautiful pottery!! Love Joerg's purchase for his office. You guys have a great sense of humor.
What a lovely video. I collect Emm Bridgewater mugs for my tea and coffee and I agree with you about making every day special. You inspired my to look for a plate for my lunch so that I can feel special with my cottage cheese and fruit!! Why not?
Thank you so much!
Really enjoy your presence. You radiate through the UA-cam screens. Really needed this today 🇺🇸💕🇬🇧
how great to have those lovely potteries nearby. we have nothing like that here in Michigan. such lovely patterns and colors; love the black peacock!! do they ship to America??
Elisabeth
Yvonne, I'm also in Michigan and would love to have this available. I hope to make a trek to Wisconsin next summer, going up through the Upper Peninsula and over to Minoqua to see what's in the shop there.
I love English pottery as well! I collect Booths Real Old Willow and Wedgwood! I enjoyed watching the video! Beautiful selection of items with great discounted prices! Thanks Kirsten and Joerg! 😊
So nice to see all the pottery. I ordered the Emma Bridgewater Union Jack 1/2 pint mugs this Spring. I love them and use them all the time.❤🇬🇧
Thanks so much! That's such a lovely mug.
Just beautiful dishware!!!!. Reasonably priced 😉😁
Какие милые люди! От них исходит столько тепла. Храни их бог!
I really enjoyed this 💛I have only one EB cup, but it makes me smile every time I use it 😊 (the one with bees🐝 )
Thanks so much!
Hi Kirsten and Joerg from Norfolk! I think you will find the big cups are referred to as Breakfast Cups. About 30 years ago there were so many more potteries than now. Such a shame so much is now produced overseas. Always enjoy seeing your purchases.
Yes, they are breakfast cups, absolutely perfect size for us. I know, luckily the items we buy are made in England.
Lovely items ,delightful displays of pottery ! The Christmas teapot is my favourite .Thank you !❤
So glad you enjoyed!
Realmente nada como uma mesa posta com porcelanas ou cerâmicas "lindas" como essas...até o sabor fica mais agradável, fora a beleza de encher os olhos. Eu tenho um jogo de chá e café, azul, "lindo" The Old Mill made England By Johnson Bros, já bem antigo, com a clássica cena do castelo e moinho d'água. Adorei esse passeio e se estivesse por perto, seria difícil de resistir. Beijos do Rio de Janeiro - Brasil.
I really enjoyed this video, visiting the pottery shops and then at your home showing us your lovely goodies you bought. Such a sweet video, thank you for sharing :)
Your kitchen looks like such a lovely cosy place to sit and have tea.☺️ I noticed near the end when you were holding the teapot, it matched your dress!❤️
Thanks so much! We do lovely spending time in our kitchen to enjoy tea and meals.
We Americans call that transfer-printed style Chintzware, and I love it. I collect it when I can find old pieces of it, but now I know where to buy it new (if they are online)!
More places for the list! You got some lovely pieces. I would have such a hard time choosing! Since you're buying pieces gradually I think you'll appreciate each one even more. I hope you escape this next heat wave. As always, schöne Woche! 🫖😎💕
Thanks so much Deborah! Absolutely, especially because I will never forget when I feel in love with Burleigh so many years ago. Have a wonderful week too (hopefully not too hot; no hot weather predicted here).
Ah Emma Bridgewater!!! I really love some of her items. Thank you for taking us there.
I’m with Joerg. Love the blue royal pheasant! Also love calico designs and when I visit charity shops I’m always on the lookout for nice pieces of pottery (China). Like to mix and match pieces.
Especially like Churchill.
You got some very nice collection going!
My grand mother was a painter for middleport pottery, and my grandad and grandmother from the other side worked at Royal Doulton. I’ve been brought up on cheese oatcakes all my life 🥰 #stokey
Awww so so lovely!
Love the big teapot! What a perfectly wonderful choice! Always love to be included on outings with you two. ❤❤
Sizleri çok sevdim Türkiye'den sevgiler selamlar ❤I loved you son much...Love from Turkey!💋🤗🙏🎄
Oh vegan English breakfast! Sigh. How I miss England. As much as Scotland. And tose dishes… I grew up with pink wedgewood…
Pink Wedgwood is lovely too.
God bless and keep y'all in HIS loving care! Your Friend Across the Pond 🇺🇸 🌎 🇬🇧
Thanks so much! Oh yes, I love love love Chintz.
Ah Bridgewater, this is literally on my doorstep. We tend to go there when we need some gifts or fancy a bit of light lunch and don't fancy walking to town.
OMG - I love Emma Bridgewater have recently bought some of their vegetable plates and bowls - they are stunning (even the ‘seconds’ bits I bought - I can’t wait to watch this now 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Aww that's so great to hear! Their seconds are totally fine and the vegetable plates and bowls are so fun.
@@KirstenJoerg - I got some amazing deals in-line and when they arrived they circle the ‘fault’ in a pen that can be easily washed off - and the faults were so tiny that in two of the plates you can’t now find the fault any more.
Amazing! Thank you for this! Such delicious looking pottery!!! Love the lemon pattern!
Love Burleigh! How beautiful are the colors. Love the mismatched plates all together. I like the blue Asiatic Pheasant you picked and you can always put a pink salad plate under the bowl! Love the teapot!! It will look so cozy at Christmas time. Love this video. Thank you Kirsten and Joerge for taking us along!
Thanks so much April!
I adore these pottery shopping trips of yours and the great reveals! Please sir, may I have some more!
I live in Stoke (although my family isn't originally from here) and I and everyone else here LOVE seeing Stoke pottery elsewhere in the world. We all love Stoke's history and many people's families have lived and worked in the potteries for centuries. I'm so happy to see people from outside of Stoke appreciating the pottery.
The beans always crack me up. Spent a week in London and beans were on the menu for breakfast. We usually in America eat beans like that in the summer at barbecues❤️
Beans, yummy 😊👍👍
Your excitement was quite contagious Kirsten, loved seeing all the pottery and can’t wait to see the lovely teapot at Christmas time. Thank you both. Alison & John xx
Fantastic video. I've watched this vid at least 6 times as well as sharing it with several friends. I always learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing.
Oh that's so kind, thank you!
It's not difficult to have a passion for beautiful things, but to share that passion with your other half makes it so much precious. You two are so lucky to have each other. 💕 Thank you for another enchanting video. I enjoyed it very much. 😊
Thanks so much!
Thank you for this. Can't wait to visit these two spots and also adore British pottery!
I loved this vlog ❤️ Emma B is my favourite pottery 😍 my dresser is full of the hearts, polka dots, stars & strawberry designs. I love the Burleigh pottery too. How beautiful was the polka dot Aga 💛 your tea pot was lovely. 🥰
I forgot to mention that when we were at the Middleport pottery in like June or July the had extra percentage off the factory outlet prices. Heaven.
How exciting, I love English pottery. The large cups and saucers were just gorgeous 😍
Thank you Kirsten and Joerg for sharing your lovely visit to the Potteries. We have often been to EB’s and enjoyed lunch there but didn’t realise they are now doing breakfast. It looks like the restaurant has been revamped since we were last there. We love visiting the garden which we find really inspirational, so many plants in such a small space. Burleigh looks like a wonderful place to visit and we will definitely include it in our next trip down. Always enjoy watching your videos because you are such a joyful couple and your enthusiasm for our country really comes across. Thank you from Ann in Chester.
Thank you so much for watching Ann!
Love love love all the English fabrics and pottery ❤️
WONDERFUL❣️ I loved this video and seeing all the gorgeous pottery/china. About three years ago, (long before covid pandemic), I remember the first time I saw your Hobbs kettle and adorable cow creamer. Another time, you took us to Stoke-on-Trent and I was hooked with your interesting UA-cam channel and you dear couple. You never disappoint Kirsten and Jöerg!! 💞Much love always xoxo
I've just watched this video four times and I'm so happy, as I love going to the china, pottery and antique shops with you. My goodness, you purchased some GORGEOUS items and aren't the factory-seconds the best? In Ontario, Canada there was a pottery made in Collingwood, Ontario, called, Blue Mountain pottery. Every year we had friends come from overseas and they always wanted to go to the pottery studios to purchase items from the factory seconds. Just like your shops, the seconds were absolutely perfect. Oh that tea pot was breathtaking!!
💓 Thank you for sharing yet another enjoyable vlog. Have a lovely week Kirsten and Jörg.
Thanks so much! Yes, that's when we got the kettle, still enjoy it so much. Thank you ever so much for your amazing support Susan.
Aww that's so lovely to hear, thank you! Oh absolutely, seconds are more than fine, we always buy them. Wishing you a lovely week as well Susan.
Thank you. Enjoyed your shopping.
Thank-you for filming the courtyard garden. So beautiful.
Oh dear, you have the most exquisite collection 😍
The black regal peacock pottery is beautiful.
. Kristen your eyes are sparkling. I am with you in this, quite obsessed with pottery. Both places are beautiful but in a different way. I enjoyed it. And Jurg has good taste. It's always so enjoyable to see you do things together. So thank you for another fantastic video. Greetings 🌷💟🇾🇪
Thank you so much Rita!
Thank you Ma’am & Sir .. Beautiful video.. with love from Kerala, India 🇮🇳
