Not as many as there was .😪 People were very skilled in this area but not as many people in this industry. Lots of expensive places use Burleigh ware and Prince Charles has supported the factory. The tour is excellent seeing how they make and decorate the items. My husband was a director at Sadlers teapot factory sadly no more. Keep collecting guys .xx Enjoyed the video .xx
@@quintonbroster2994 No sadly not because many products are now produced in China because most people only want cheap so support products 'made in China'.

Another time, you took us to Stoke-on-Trent and I was hooked with your interesting UA-cam channel and you dear couple. You never disappoint Kirsten and Jöerg!! 💞Much love always xoxo
I've just watched this video four times and I'm so happy, as I love going to the china, pottery and antique shops with you. My goodness, you purchased some GORGEOUS items and aren't the factory-seconds the best? In Ontario, Canada there was a pottery made in Collingwood, Ontario, called, Blue Mountain pottery. Every year we had friends come from overseas and they always wanted to go to the pottery studios to purchase items from the factory seconds. Just like your shops, the seconds were absolutely perfect. Oh that tea pot was breathtaking!! 💓 Thank you for sharing yet another enjoyable vlog. Have a lovely week Kirsten and Jörg.
Brilliant! I am a collector of pottery as well, this video was fantastic. My English Spode collection was left to me by my mentor and his wife. These potters/ artists are just magnificent. Beauty everywhere! Ty. 🌞💛

I was gifted an adorable pink chintz pattern Burleigh tea pot but it came with a little chip at the spout so I’ve only kept it on display and use my Brown Betty for tea. Don’t know the pattern name as it’s from the late 1980s. But she’s a beauty! Great video. I need to get back to England soon.
What a lovely video. I collect Emm Bridgewater mugs for my tea and coffee and I agree with you about making every day special. You inspired my to look for a plate for my lunch so that I can feel special with my cottage cheese and fruit!! Why not?
Oh, I am so with you in my love for pretty English and German pottery. It is such a joy to use. Your choices are gorgeous. Getting those special pieces gradually makes them all the more special. You have a lovely collection. I hope you can find the turine you wanted someday soon. And your Dad will be happy with his new mug. Glad you had a fun time, and it was fun joining you over video. Take care and many thanks.
I have recently started collecting Bridgewater pottery. I have the Black Toast Tea pot, 2 large Tea cups with saucers, three mugs , a dragonfly mug and dandelion mug. After seeing you at the pottery factory and following a British artist who has a very extensive Black Toast collection I have become an avid fan.
I love English pottery as well! I collect Booths Real Old Willow and Wedgwood! I enjoyed watching the video! Beautiful selection of items with great discounted prices! Thanks Kirsten and Joerg! 😊

Hello Kirsten and Joerg. Oh my word what lovely pottery .I love all of it , it's so pretty .I don't like items that are in fashion for five minutes and then disappear, out of fashion in an instant, and we're left with them. That pottery is classic and never dates and is simply beautiful .I love all the pieces you bought , they fit lovely in your home . The Christmas teapot is gorgeous and I'm sure it will get plenty of use with Joergs penchant for various teas . The good looked delicious too , which made me think that we're ready for another of your baking / cooking videos . Thank you for sharing your trip to the pottery outlets , it was very enjoyable . I too would love to visit Atoke on Trent to add to my Burleigh ware.
Keep collecting guys .xx
Enjoyed the video .xx
There are a few small ones but nothing like what used to be here
@@quintonbroster2994 No sadly not because many products are now produced in China because most people only want cheap so support products 'made in China'.
Love Burleigh! How beautiful are the colors. Love the mismatched plates all together. I like the blue Asiatic Pheasant you picked and you can always put a pink salad plate under the bowl! Love the teapot!! It will look so cozy at Christmas time. Love this video. Thank you Kirsten and Joerge for taking us along!
Thanks so much April!
I had the pleasure of visiting both factories on my first visit to England this past May! So lovely! I would go back in a heartbeat. Love the pieces you bought!
😂😂😂about arriving with a trailer.I am like that.
@@helenbailey8419 🚛&trailer 🤣
WONDERFUL❣️ I loved this video and seeing all the gorgeous pottery/china. About three years ago, (long before covid pandemic), I remember the first time I saw your Hobbs kettle and adorable cow creamer.
Thanks so much! Yes, that's when we got the kettle, still enjoy it so much. Thank you ever so much for your amazing support Susan.
Aww that's so lovely to hear, thank you! Oh absolutely, seconds are more than fine, we always buy them. Wishing you a lovely week as well Susan.
Brilliant! I am a collector of pottery as well, this video was fantastic. My English Spode collection was left to me by my mentor and his wife. These potters/ artists are just magnificent. Beauty everywhere! Ty. 🌞💛
Какие милые люди! От них исходит столько тепла. Храни их бог!
I adore these pottery shopping trips of yours and the great reveals! Please sir, may I have some more!
Your kitchen looks like such a lovely cosy place to sit and have tea.☺️ I noticed near the end when you were holding the teapot, it matched your dress!❤️
Thanks so much! We do lovely spending time in our kitchen to enjoy tea and meals.
You both are so sweet. Joerg isn’t obsessed, he just uses it! Some woman shop for shoes, or purses, you like beautiful pottery! A fun video. Thank you for sharing, now go have that cuppa! Mary
. Kristen your eyes are sparkling. I am with you in this, quite obsessed with pottery. Both places are beautiful but in a different way. I enjoyed it. And Jurg has good taste. It's always so enjoyable to see you do things together. So thank you for another fantastic video. Greetings 🌷💟🇾🇪
Thank you so much Rita!
Ah Bridgewater, this is literally on my doorstep. We tend to go there when we need some gifts or fancy a bit of light lunch and don't fancy walking to town.
Great idea for the office, stylish and robust.
Was für wunderschönes Geschirr!
What beautiful dishes!
Both shops have such great pottery that I don't know how I could leave them without full bags...I especially love "Pink Asiatic Pheasant"!
Thank you for taking us on this beautiful trip!
So schön, dass es dir gefällt! Vielen lieben Dank und herzliche Grüße
Thank-you for filming the courtyard garden. So beautiful.
In the turbulence of the world today, it is wonderful that you guys remind us to nurture the simple things in life and be grateful for what we have.. I always revert to your videos, which I find so calming and Kirsten.. Your voice is so beautiful... Thank you for taking us along with you
I was gifted an adorable pink chintz pattern Burleigh tea pot but it came with a little chip at the spout so I’ve only kept it on display and use my Brown Betty for tea. Don’t know the pattern name as it’s from the late 1980s. But she’s a beauty! Great video. I need to get back to England soon.
My husband and I use our Denby pasta bowls more than anything else !
Love what you chose!
Lovely items ,delightful displays of pottery ! The Christmas teapot is my favourite .Thank you !❤
So glad you enjoyed!
I love your pottery . All in Blue and white!! 😍💖💙 🤩👍
What a lovely video. I collect Emm Bridgewater mugs for my tea and coffee and I agree with you about making every day special. You inspired my to look for a plate for my lunch so that I can feel special with my cottage cheese and fruit!! Why not?
Thank you so much!
So nice to see all the pottery. I ordered the Emma Bridgewater Union Jack 1/2 pint mugs this Spring. I love them and use them all the time.❤🇬🇧
Thanks so much! That's such a lovely mug.
Dear Kirsten and Jörg, you bought lovely pottery! ❤️
Thank you!
The Christmas pot is so lovely!!
So glad you like it!
We Americans call that transfer-printed style Chintzware, and I love it. I collect it when I can find old pieces of it, but now I know where to buy it new (if they are online)!
Your excitement was quite contagious Kirsten, loved seeing all the pottery and can’t wait to see the lovely teapot at Christmas time. Thank you both. Alison & John xx
I love English pottery and transferware!
I really enjoyed this video, visiting the pottery shops and then at your home showing us your lovely goodies you bought. Such a sweet video, thank you for sharing :)
What a treat taking us to look at two pottery outlets. Love the pieces you bought. My favourite is the Blue Peacock ❤
Joerg is so funny, so glad he relishes Staffordshire Oatcakes! I am a little unsure about mismatched china so I was on tenterhooks whilst you made your decision 😂, I love that pale blue. See you soon!
that was great you are both sweet keep the videos coming so refreshing at this time Carol and Bob
Thanks so much!
All of it...lovely...the video, both of you, and the pottery choices!
So Beautiful dishies! This is what I need to buy during my closest trip to the UK. Thank You for the video.
More places for the list! You got some lovely pieces. I would have such a hard time choosing! Since you're buying pieces gradually I think you'll appreciate each one even more. I hope you escape this next heat wave. As always, schöne Woche! 🫖😎💕
Thanks so much Deborah! Absolutely, especially because I will never forget when I feel in love with Burleigh so many years ago. Have a wonderful week too (hopefully not too hot; no hot weather predicted here).
Love to you both from Culcheth x💕
Thanks so much Barbara! Totally, we are the same! I think that fact that I fell in love with Burleigh more than 20 years ago just shows that I will love it forever. My heart always skips a beat when walking into the factory shop as it's all so gorgeous. I hope we can do some baking and cooking videos in autumn but we first go to Germany this month where I'll be staying a little longer to be with my family.
Oh how lovely for you .May you have a safe journey and a very happy and joyful time with your family .x
@@barbarapatriciaharrison3853 Thank you!
I’m with Joerg. Love the blue royal pheasant! Also love calico designs and when I visit charity shops I’m always on the lookout for nice pieces of pottery (China). Like to mix and match pieces.
Especially like Churchill.
You got some very nice collection going!
You always bring me joy..I love your banter. I have to add that you both have exquisite taste in pottery. 😊🌷
Love all the pottery. Wish I had room otherwise I would be so tempted to buy some. Thanks for sharing yet another wonderful vlog.
Thank you so much for watching!
Your umbrella is beautiful. I was delighted by the polka-dotted Aga.
Ooh, can’t wait to watch. I visited the factory a couple of months ago and have bought too much of her china the last few years.
A year later and these are still my favorite videos.
Thanks so much!
