Man...this is gold. I wish I could go back 20 years or so with this information. It would have made a world of difference in my Jiu-jitsu.

Golden instructions as usual. I would pay a lot to attend these classes if you were in Warsaw

2:58 You defend the zone by crossing your hands in orfder to hand fight. Is this specific to gi only or can you do this in nogi?
I ask because in your video series "The Closed Guard Compendium" in lesson 9 "Breaking Grips (nogi)" you show a different way of defending the zone. You specify that there are only 3 ways to clear grips in nogi and you do not use the "hands crossed" method.
I recommend "The Closed Guard Compendium" to anyone watching this. It has improved my closed guard.
    Thanks

Zod thanks for the reference. The defense of the zone and using your hands in a crossed position is a protection of that area, not a hand fight. So when hand fighting there are different ways to clear the grips but that doesn't negate the goal of protecting the zone.

What are some examples that are proactive from a Post or double post? If your Posture is broken? As everything is productive from bottom if you post, catch the hand in, use the legs etc... Do you elevate and float? What are some good examples from this negative position?

Sorry not quite sure I completely understand the question. Are you referring to the top player?

Hello,I have a question 😊 at 1:57, what is the escape for the guy on the top, or how can we prevent that?
I am used to start (when I am on the top in the closed guard) by using one of the Rickson techniques (the same position as the guy at 1:57 , but Rickson glues the arm of his opponnent with putting his hand between the biceps and the forearm and putting pressure in his elbow. I saw that you did this technique in one of your video. However if i don’t make any mistake, you use it only if the guy make you fall. But I use this technique as soon as I am in the close guard in order to prevent any trouble with the grips from my partner). The problem is that last time, a guy broke my posture like you did and I could’nt stand up anymore. So how,can I prevent that? And do you think thats it’s a bad idea to start by the technic that I just described?
Thanks a lot for your videos, it’s gold.
