It’s interesting that this particular channel tries to explain the serial killer’s behavior by their childhood or other life experiences, which could play a role, but was it outside environment and random circumstances or his personality, that made him behave certain ways that also changed the circumstances around him. His mom reacted with horror to his wearing her lingerie, but how many children wear their mom’s underwear. They might wear it over their own clothes for fun and laugh but not on their nude bodies to feel mom’s love. Who knows what he did pr how to make his mom be scared by that.
Her reaction was the point. If a parent shames & punishes a child for a behavior, that increases the forbidden nature of the activity. We also know she put her underwear under lock & key. She must have been particularly harsh to the boy to inspire him to get back at her by defecating in her garments. Once he decided he was a coprophiliac, he seems to have been seeking out only the most disgusting & forbidden fantasies. That feels like more "revenge" behavior: against the mother & against all of society & its moral codes.

Ive watched a lot of these episodes. I never paid attention to the fact that most of the people interviewed to describe the killer's depravity aren't necessarily experts in this field. Most of them are authors. Now, I'm not naive enough to think authors aren't educated enough to make appropriate comments. However, they're not experts in the field. And suddenly, this series has lost a lot of credibility. I noticed this yesterday when one person being interviewed in another episode was making outrageous claims about sexuality as a child.
Did they get DNA from his skid marks ? no really did it help find him.
Maybe sentences would make more sense if there weren’t so many men writing the laws and handing out sentences. Are they this lenient when the serial killer targets men (a rarity)?
