  • Kungsleden, the King's trail runs from Hemavan to Abisko in the Swedish mountains amd is one of the world's most popular hiking trails. On its way, it passes the summer grounds of fifteen “samebyar” (Sámi communities), organized through the reindeer husbandry act. This is Sápmi, a slowly changing cultural land, so always show respect and care for the reindeer - especially the little calves. The 450-kilometre long trail will take you through the Vindelfjällen nature reserve, the Laponia World Heritage, four national parks and the headwaters of Sweden’s four remaining national rivers. This is the most beautiful hike up north, covering some vast and wild land.
This is a production for Swedish Lapland TV.

This place looks too cool! It was a story I read about a couple who said they spent an entire summer here where I got the link to this video. Now I'm wondering why they left. I'm from Texas. The USA has so many places I haven't seen yet but I want to. But looking at the rest of the world (mostly on UA-cam) as much as I love Texas and the USA, i know that the most amazing sights on Earth are a half a world away. China has a landscape that I can hardly imagine being real. But this place really looks more like my kind of place if I can ever get away for a month or two. From places like this to a tiny island so far out in the middle of the sea some of the people have never seen any other dry land, for each of us, there's a whole world of places we never knew existed before the internet showed us. I went to good schools for 12 years ... graduated 41 years ago. In the last 20 years though, I've learned so much more about the subjects taught in the schools I attended plus subjects schools didn't teach at all, there are very few things that I know that I wouldn't know if I had skipped school completely (after learning to read.) And that is considering ONLY what I've learned from UA-cam.
I appreciate the service UA-cam provides, but for their censorship of speech, my antipathy toward UA-cam will never fade.

You're absolutely right :) As soon as UA-cam has finished processing the HD versions, the edit will be in 4k.
