We just got this model as a Christmas gift. So I’ve been busy reading up and watching videos on it. I’m seeing a ton of mixed reviews here about them breaking after a few months use. I registered ours should something happen to it. Will update this comment if anything does happen. Had the Keurig K-Express Essentials right before this upgrade, which still works fine, so at least we have a back up!
We bought one of these about 3 months ago and it's already broken. The cup side is working fine, but the carafe will not generate hot water and the heating plate stays cold. I've tried cycling power, removing water reservoir, etc... Nothing. And because I don't keep every single wal-mart receipt, I can't do a warranty claim. Thanks Keurig! Since it's now junk, I may open it up and see if I can find the problem, and if I do, I'll post my own video.
@@carlwilson867 Correct indeed.. I did register. Got my replacement today! They didn't even ask for the old one back. I packed it in the box and stored it away.. never know when I'll need a part like is someone accidentally breaks the carafe. I have a spare. Great customer service Keurig!
I noticed you're using a flavored syrup for your coffee instead of a flavored creamer. Why? Is the flavor better this way? Or is there less sugar this way? I'm very curious.
I bought this one a couple of months ago & today the burner is not hot. The light is on but the burner is not hot. Any ideas or have you heard anyone else with this issue?
Had this for 2 weeks. Worked great. Now the keurig works great but the coffee side just brews cold coffee and doesn't use all the coffee grounds. How do I fix this?
How do reset or turn descale light of? Please help, I’ve purchased descale kit and ran 20 clean rinse cycle. Light stays on. I’m searching the web and can’t find anything. Your video are really helpful.
Run a couple cups of Pickling Vinegar (7% Acetic acid) through it. After running the 1st cup, let it sit for 10 minutes, them run another cup of vinegar through it. Follow with fresh water until the hot water it's putting out doesn't smell like vinegar.
My exact maker worked fine for a few months. A few days ago, the cup maker side continues to work fine. The carafe side will disperse water into the carafe normally but the water is COLD not HOT. Any ideas what I can do to fix this? Thanks
If you registered your machine with Keurig you can call them for troubleshooting issues. If the machine is defective and still under warranty, they will send you a new one.
I brought one I was not impressed . The coffee warmer would not shut off I had to unplug it to shut it off , and all the coffee pots I have had you never had to turn the machine around to see the measurements of water you are putting in on all mine it was always on the side. Plus no timer doesn’t help.
I hope they put out a model as their one that has the digital display with the timer. My wife and I wake up at 4:00 in the morning and that would definitely help out having the coffee start brewing because there's a lot of things to do before she leaves to work. And as for this model not having the 6 ounces is the perfect amount to do a "clean rinse " for the single service as the 8 ounces is too much. Thank you for the review 👍🏻 put as for getting anything from Walmart with the name Essentials on it I would choose not to get it.. because it seems like they just make those models very cheap quality and the products that are not labeled " Essentials" their made a little better
Skip this machine I have had so many odd issues with it, now it dead after 6 months. I have a warranty clam but no reciept lets see if they honor there product. Build quality of this one versus the one I had for 10+ years is obvious, Keurig come on you can do better!
DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE! The brew is too weak - especially if using the paper filter which significantly reduces the beneficial antioxidants and oils. Move on, absolutely nothing to see - or hear - here.
Bro CHILL... it's just a $120 combo machine, if you want better coffee buy another better machine, people who are buying this obviously ain't coffee conasaures so they probably don't care, so just CHILL OUT.

All Keurig machines come with a one-year warranty. If you registered it, Keurig will send you a new one.

How do you use paper filters on the single serve side?
You can put the paper filter in your coffee cup. Then lift and drain the filter from cup.
Can you make less than 8 cups in the carafe?

I bought this two months ago and the water is always hot for both options, you did not accidentally hit the blue button
in order to extract flavor from the coffee it needs at a higher temperature so you will melt some ice
Just got one and no matter what I do it only pumps water out the k cup side
