Stop apologizing, you're doing what you're doing right for you! Whoever catches is right, a proverb and greetings from Germany! 👍

I was part of the wire brigade but seeing the lure in action I get what you were going for and the KISS solution of cutting down the treble to a double hook took care of the problem. Nice marriage of aerodynamic and bubba engineering.

Well done. Great result for your ingenuity. Nice to see you return the fish calmly. Not just throw it back from a great height like so many others do. Legend.

Nice quick mod without destroying the lure! I too like the K.I.S.S motto when determining the solution! Nice bass on it too!

Love the build! Not a conventional build shape. The flash in the belly is neat and the lure works.

That was a unique design, and once you got the kinks ironed out, it worked well. Another nice job!

I was surprised that the bass was hooked on the front set of hooks. Great follow up and footage of the manatee. Enjoy your time off .

Wow, are you purposely skipping that toothbrush in under the brush? never seen that before, nice trick. Watching you catch fish on your own lures brings a massive smile to my face, great job as always!

Yep, you were under so much pressure no joke, but you got it done, maybe scale down on that lure style and I'm sure you'll catch more fish

What about if you did the wire through and had like a fletching rig with a slight helical.

That would work but, when you have a spinning mass it acts to stabilize the system in the same axis...kind of like a partial gyroscope. So the lure will loose its swimming action.

just curious, what kind of an engineer are you? do you work in the fishing industry, or is this just a hobby?

It's shot with HD gopro 7; the zoomed in shots tend to pixelat a bit. A good net connection and a screen larger than a phone helps a lot. Thanks for the feedback.
