You need to change the filter too. And why didn't you check the drainage plug for leakage? It probably needs a new gasket there too. And I would not recommend to use any other fluid than the Mitsubishi fluid. It is very critical on the oil. What are your experiences with the Castrol fluid?

That is the wrong type of CVT fluid to put in the car. It says in the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage owners manual on page 9-9 to only use "Mitsubishi Motors Genuine CVTF-J4" transmission fluid to ensure optimum performance. And Caution - using improper fluid can damage the CVT. There are a few videos also saying not to use the wrong fluid and this caused them problems that were corrected with the right CVT fluid.

Wrong cvt flluid cvt j 4. Or mopar cvt f 4. Its green. Must change filter. Dont put cheap. Cvt fluid
