The transition from "take everything, take everything", to then that pause when they stalemate, and then the reaction was my favorite part of this episode. I couldn't contain my laughter.
You can see how hard Levy's trying to control his laughter after they stalemated, he's trying so hard to pretend to be mad when his gut is about to burst lmao
He was going for checkmate on e4 as far as I can tell, but still should've just ladder mated and moved on with his life. Now his stupidity is gonna be immortalised forever(or until UA-cam becomes irrelevant, which is scary to imagine).
if you're ever up 2 queens and don't know how to quickly mate (because your running out of time), just give checks that don't hang the queen. Eventually you'll accidentally checkmate.

That wasn't attacking the bishop iirc. Forgetting what a piece used to defend is also a common mistake, but not just for rookies (though it's usually more than 1 move out at higher levels). Attacking a piece without calculating where it can go is different.

Imagine this: a queen with all the queen moves, but also has knight moves, and jumps when making knight style moves. That's the most powerful piece to theoretically exist.

If you were actually playing at this level you'd see like 5-15% of your games are this good. You can be stuck at 1000 because you make one-movers every second game and just resign but play the other games at a high level lol.

But god do I have games where it's 70 moves and I play 93% vs like 85%, and those feel like they are genuinely on an FM level. That doesn't mean I cheat, it just means my ADHD is still making me make a lot of one-movers when I'm not super focused on my game lol

Levy's 1600 guess seemed very sensible to me, and I might go as low as 1300, but below that Elo I would be rather suspicious of that play. It's not just that these were random good moves, the moves showed an insight into chess 1100s do not possess. A 1300 who blunders too often might create games like this, but an 1100?
