At 45, I had never read the Bible. Not raised in church. I felt something pulling me, for years, till finally I cried out " GOD ARE YOU REAL???IF SO I WANT TO KNOW YOU!!".
I picked up the Book and what was boring and dry before, CAME ALIVE. He drew me to Torah very early on. His Feasts, Shabbat, His Ways. Am humbled and so very grateful to be a part of this Awakening.
    HalleluYah 🥰🕎

Everytime I dive into Gods Word, the word flows like rivers, all combining through one. Let that sink in. Woah.
I just realized, the Wilderness is the darkness, it's a state of mind without God.
When you don't trust in the Father, who did all things and we lose the sight and hearing of what you've shown us and many signs over and over and yet we still disrespect The God who promised a King, Jesus, Yeshua, to teach you in human form, the knowledge of Good and Evil, and to make you decide what is righteous and holy, because nothing else has seemed to work.
Yet the One and Only, All Glorious and Merciful God we have, is still patient and slow to anger acting when is fit for as many to come under the same framework in the hope for the same goal.
    Love you all.

Humans themselves could not give blessings themselves. But with God alone that we can bless others. So, ask God for blessings and blessings will come. God will send people to shower you the blessings you asked.
To cut the story short, blessings can only come from God.

I believe when God our HolyFather spake about the tree of life. Telling Adam and Eve “if they ate from the tree they would surely die” he meant if they ate from the tree they wouldn’t be able to live eternally. Since they ate from the tree they would now have an expiration date so in result they would “surely die”.

If that was the story, Jesus would not have died for us. And we would never know just how much God loves us. His love for us is so total, so complete, that he would give up anything for us, even his own life. Who is like our God?

I think God gave Adam and Eve, then Noah’s family, then Abraham and the Israelites different levels of “laws” (and different levels of interventions/presence of God) was to grow the spiritual knowledge and capacity of the human race. Just like we give our kids age appropriate chores, answers to difficult questions, amount of freedom, access to more complex/expensive/dangerous toys and activities, is because we are moving the boundaries as their development progresses. When my baby is hungry I feed him, when my toddler is hungry I make the food but he can feed himself to some degree, when my tiny tyke is touching everything I teach him the oven/stove is dangerous and he should never touch it, in a couple of years I reverse that and begin to teach him how to cook from recipes, when he’s even older he can start to cook without recipes and be creative and most likely end up with something edible if he’s learned the basics of cooking by paying attention to the recipes and cookbooks. Adam and Eve were spiritual babies. The Israelites were supervised kids learning how to cook from recipes in mom’s cookbook. Christians with the Holy Spirit are older kids and young adults who have are at different stages of transitioning from using recipes, making our own new cooking creations from our ingrained knowledge and skills, and some are top level chefs. As a species God has let us develop our spiritual skills and abilities and it’s up to us to keep heading down that path by passing on what we know and value to future generations… or turning away and losing that skill (much like we’ve lost the ability to remember people’s phone numbers because we stopped valuing that as a skill and replaced it with cell phones/digital address books.

Yes! You see this in all of life. Our moral values are like teens now...sexually out there yet wanting justice for the downtrodden is much better...well not everyone has reached the teen justice part. We may never leave the teen sexual stage, it seems. But as time goes on we build in other moral ways and also in inventions, construction, medical, etc.

I will be looking in to this chapter today. One thing is certain The Creator had a plan for us (the height of His creation) and we are[the attitude] sometimes so oblivious or we just take it for granted because we know we are a chosen race, royal priesthood and we think we got it on our own...if we will just spend time with Him and study the love letter [ the map on this journey]not because we are seeking perfection-that concept can be tricky and you fall for being holy alright having a form of godliness...(it not about the form)..but studying this love letter because it is our guide throughout our lives individually and a chosen people a chosen nation of people walking in obedience because of love and respect...when you love someone that deeply...spending time in their presence is cherished, honored...words fail me. I'm going to this chapter now!

Yes, the Holy Spirit comes in to guide us into all truths personally but only to those who are really born again of His Spirit and are progressively shunned away from the ways of the world system by faith in Christ and overcomers by exercising the authority in His name to trample upon serpents and scorpions..
l say this because.there are so called christians who do not have His Holy Spirit because they look to mens traditions making them religiously delusional for it contravenes what the Lord Jesus Christ warned about another "Jesus " in His name will deceive many in the last days because they failed to note that He is the only way to our Heavenly Father..No one can come to the Most High Yah except through Him ..consequently, they have no spiritual relationship with Christ who is the source of life!!

I have never made the circumcision and Hagar connection before! I always wondered why God used circumcision, especially with how controversial it is. I never realized it was meant to be a punishment; most people just assume it is a “sign of the covenant” without elaborating on why the symbol is unpleasant.

I think on the part where the question came; did God make us not good enough with the right spirit to choose good on the first try? I think the answer is; we are not finished yet. Just like gold if formed in the middle of debris and needs to be put through fire in order for the pure material to be left, so is our nature similar to that. We we’re made in the middle of imperfection and are being put through fire and trial in order for the unclean to be burned off. Just like circumcision gets read of the extra that isn’t needed. God puts all things through a mending period before they become ideal. In our case God decided to make us conscious earlier in the process in order for us to witness and consent to the fire or not. He pretty much gave us the choice to choose if we consent to feeling pain or not. And the way out was to listen and not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but God knew that either way we wouldn’t withstand temptation and in the end we will see that consenting to pain was actually the right choice because we need to go through fire but that’s only if we choose to listen and accept God’s Justice as righteous. Humbling ourselves and agreeing that we don’t know better than Him. That was the temptation of the devil to Eve, to challenge the righteousness of God and become like God; as in have the same power to define right and wrong. But we don’t have the power to live forever even if we defined right from wrong according to our own view. When you are your own God, you can’t sustain yourself forever. You need God for life and that requires following the rules that get you to life. If you don’t like the rules, God will give you the love which will help you endure the hardship of the law. That spirit of love brings a desire to withstand the pain of fire( following the law). God brings the love, you bring your willingness to receive that love.

    Truly the Lord is Sovereign...
As indeed He says in Hosea: “I will call those who were not My people, ‘My people,’ and her who was not beloved, ‘Beloved,’ ” and, “In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ there they shall be called ‘sons of the living God.’ ” Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the children of Israel be like the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved. For He will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness, because the Lord will make a quick work upon the earth.”
    Romans 9:25‭-‬28 MEV
God calls us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. He works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Philippians 2:12-13
You return man to the dust and say, “Return, you children of men.” For a thousand years in Your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a night watch in the night time.

God Himself couldn't circumcise humans after sinning because it took us away from Him. That is one of the reasons why He made the fellowship with humans to do His will. God the Father wants us to clean ourselves in front of Him whether it is physically or spiritually. We clean our spirits through Jesus's blood and circumcision is one of the acts to physically prepare and clean our human bodies. The soul is composed of our human bodies and spiritual bodies. He needs both of our bodies to save our souls that is why He will resurrect the dead ones in the future.

I'll admit I haven't listened to the entire thing yet but looking through the transcript I see you touch on lots of things that I was going to mention so I'll summarize my thoughts and maybe provide some answers to some seekers.
Yes it is possible to live a blessed a life. You already mentioned how Deut. 28 summarizes the blessings and curses for obedience (as both the blessings and curses are listed many times throughout Torah). We can see this reflected in Job who was blessed by YHWH and even in his distress by The Adversary, didn't sin. We can see this reflected in David (hence why is Good King David), where I paraphrase roughly, was pleasing to YHWH in all ways save the matter of Bathsheba. We can also look at Abraham and how blessed he was in all his endeavors.
This is the part that I'll probably lose many of you on but if you circumcise your hearts and renew your mind, you'll realize how you can live a holy (Jewish for set-apart) life and be blessed because of it. It's because most of our churches these days fail to teach what sin is. They baptize people and speak and a good speech and many convert and both study but like Paul says in Timothy, they are forever studying but never learning.
Sin is transgression of the law (1 John 3: 4). So what is the law? Law is Torah (the first five books of the Bible/Scripture and Hebrew for teaching/instruction) where YHWH spoke to the mixed multitude (it wasn't just the 'Jews') that came out of Egypt (or Mistrayim). The first Christians were Jews that believed in Jesus (I personally prefer using Yeshua) who was and is, and is to come, our Messiah. Yeshua came for the lost sheep of Israel to bring them back into covenant bondage by dying on the cross so that way the Northern Kingdom could be reconciled to YHWH and be His people again (this is the new Covenant). So how did these early followers of Yeshua (they called themselves The Way) teach others how to show faith in YHWH and stop sinning and become set-apart? They taught them Torah.
This is the missing bit that our churches fail on. They teach that the law has been done away with (Matthew 5: 17-19 affirm that the law shall stay till heaven and earth come to pass) or that certain parts of it don't matter anymore, or like the pharisees, teach a man-made law rather than YHWH's law. However, if there is no law, there is no sin, if there is no sin, there's no need for a savior and if we don't need a savior there was no reason for Yeshua to have died. Paul himself affirms this many times in Romans (Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? No, we establish the law. Does the law cause us to sin? No but I would not have known coveting was a sin except that law had said, don't covet), and indeed in many of his letters you can see how he was teaching them the law but they were having trouble understanding it.
So, if you want to have a blessed life, first believe in Yeshua, then learn what sin is, then stop sinning. It's not hard and YHWH even affirms it's not a burden. Yeshua told us He came that we might live life more abundantly (we do not need to follow any laws other than YHWH's) and that his yoke is easy and burden light.
So do you still eat pork (or many of the things listed in Leviticus 11 that we are told not to eat)? That's a sin. Do you celebrate pagan Holidays like Christmas (a holiday of Saturn worship based off of Saturnalia) or Easter (a day celebrating the goddess Easter) when the law states not to celebrate pagan customs (I'll admit I failed this one this year when I handed out candy on Halloween. There are many ways and days I can do nice things for children that don't have to be on Samhain) (Leviticus 18). Do you fail to do the feasts YHWH describes in Leviticus 23 or work or make people work for you on the Sabbath (Exodus 20)? Do you get tattoos though Leviticus 19 says not to?
This is how our churches have don away with the law.
Do you teach that watching pornography or masturbation is a sin though nowhere in YHWH's laws does he state that watching other people have sex or pleasuring yourself to self orgasm is wrong (and please don't misunderstand me, I am not saying go watch pornography. In fact I dislike it greatly because how much it contributes to sexual slave trade. But the actual watching of it is not a sin) (I have a feeling a certain group of people will angrily bring up Matthew 5: 27-28 here but the Sermon on the Mount is greatly misunderstood. If Yeshua was teaching a more strict law he would've sinned against Deuteronomy 13 by teaching a different law. You might want to look up the actual Greek term that got translated as lust and woman in there). Do you teach that playing certain videogames are a sin to play or certain books to read is a sin or certain shows/movies/anime to watch are a sin? This is how are church has added on to YHWH's commandments and and you can see how wroth YHWH was in Isaiah 29 on this (They worship me with their mouths though their hearts are far from me, teaching after themselves the commandments of men rather than my Commandments). Yeshua constantly fought with the Pharisees on this but was always declared innocent of wrongdoing at trial (See how he talks about their washing of hands before eating food, and their rituals involving pots and pans). Paul himself even affirms this in Colossians 2 stating, why do you submit yourself to man-made religion of do not taste, touch or handle which seem to have wisdom with their self-made humility but mean nothing but reckless abuse to the self.
Anyway, I know this is a bit of a wall of text but hopefully this helps someone who is searching. If you want further proof asserting what I have stated above read all of Proverbs (it's short) and see how many times Solomon mentions obeying Torah. Read Psalm 19 and 119 and realize how King David knew right from wrong. Read Ecclesiastes 12 and realize how keeping the law is the most important thing in life. Read Ezra and Nehemiah and see how at the end they realized they were cursed for not following the law and immediately started doing it as it was read to them. Remember how in Revelation that the patience of the set-apart ones are those who are still following the law. And above all remember Yeshua's own words, if you love Me, you will keep my commandments.
I hope this helps you and blesses you, and shows you that it is possible to live a holy(set-apart) life, and thus receive blessings from YHWH that will lead you into in his eternal embrace where He will say, well done my good and faithful child.

Christmas is a holiday that Christian’s have appropriated over centuries to be a celebration of the birth of Jesus. It is a time of praise and honour to the Lord.
2 Corinthians 7:1 - Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.
Christmas is not a defilement of body and spirit, but consuming pornography absolutely is.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to depart into hell.”
Brother/sister, please cut out this absurd and destructive legalism that leads to death. This isn’t for you, this isn’t the way of life.

And in your response to your Matthew argument, please look at the logic of what it means to respect God’s children. As I’m sure many women can attest, to be objectified, to constantly be seen as a piece of meat in the eye of the “male gaze”, is dehumanizing and it hurts. It is not just spiritual unhealthy, that in itself is sin.

    • @sackpersoncool
      @sackpersoncool Рік тому +1

@@Purey97 since you bring up defilement of the body let's look at what I have stated since you only brought up one passage of Scripture where I provided many. The first and greatest commandment is to love YHWH with your whole mind, body and strength. The second greatest commandment is like it, to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Upon this all the Torah and prophets hang.
What do you suppose this means? YHWH can do wrong because he is nothing but good. He cannot sin just like his Yeshua couldn't sin. So He gave his children laws to follow that it might go well with them and they not be consumed. So read the Torah and notice how each time the people He was leading out of Egypt were disobedient, they were consumed. Read the prophets and realize each time they turned away from the law set before them were consumed. Look at today and look at how many churches fail or become corrupt. This is because they have kept sinning and thus been destroyed. Deuteronomy 28, blessings and curses for obedience.
Why do you think Yeshua says, man does no survive on bread alone but every word breathed from the mouth of YHWH. So look at Torah. Let's use Leviticus 11 as an example, it starts roughly, Then YHWH spoke to the children Israel. Look how amazing this is. YHWH is speaking, he is telling them what is right and wrong to eat so we can know what YHWH has furnished us with for sustenance. This is beautiful and why would we want it break this?
So to round back to the previous point, if we must love YHWH with our bodies we cannot eat pork, or camel, or shellfish or many other things because that is defilement of the body. We have failed to show YHWH love with our bodies.
This is why we don't celebrate pagan holidays. Christmas was never Christian and nowhere in Scripture can you find words stating it's possible to take something pagan and make it acceptable before YHWH. In fact, quite the opposite. Look at Jeremiah 10 where he describes something dangerously close as Christmas Trees with pagans cutting down trees, setting them up in their houses and decorating them with gold and silver. These were idols to pagans. Read the end of Deuteronomy 7 where YHWH tells the children of Israel not to even bring an abomination into their house (He hates idols so much he calls them abominations). This is failure of mind and strength against YHWH. You have failed to resist the ways of the world (because the world does things it's way instead of YHWH's way) by arguing in your mind it's okay now, and have failed your strength by setting your body to do this abominable thing (and like I mentioned earlier, even I failed earlier this year, but the more I've thought about it the less I want to do it, because saying Happy Halloween to people just felt wrong. My spirit cried out against it).
Because look at Scripture. Where are we told to celebrate the birth of Yeshua? Nowhere. He wasn't even born in the winter at Christmas is he was born at the beginning of Sukkot in fall (the Feast of Booths described in Leviticus 23, where we must sleep in booths for seven days and what is a manger? Even as a baby he did not sin because his parents knew what was right and wrong).
So to address your final pieces of statement regarding Matthew 5. The word translated as lust there is the Greek word for covet or desire. It's the same word used in Greek for the tenth of the 10 Words (commandments). It's the same word when Yeshua said he DESIRED to share this Passover Feast. It's the same used by Paul in Romans 7 where he describing how COVETING is sin. The second is the Greek word used for woman which is the same word used for wife. Because let's play this game, can two unmarried people lusting for each other (to take your meaning of it) be committing adultery? No. So it must mean covering of an already married woman. Yeshua taught us nothing new in the Sermon on the mount, just how one sin leads to another. Read James (it's short, and James tells you where sin always lies (hint, it's in the heart)). If you don't believe me look up Jason A Staples on mistranslated Bible passages. He's a published Biblical Scholar. I'm not saying he's right on everything but finding his articles helped me learn just how wrong so many of us have been taught these days.
We have a solemn duty as followers of YHWH and Yeshua to keep YHWH'S charge. It's the only way we keep ourselves different from the world and YHWH Himself told us what these differences were, and that we were to not add to them or subtract from them (Deuteronomy 4). If we keep these commands we will be blessed. If we don't we will be cursed. You can check how well you're doing so by looking at the curses listed and seeing how many are affecting you. You can look at society and see how the world's sin is affecting them (hint one of the curses is depression. Notice how as society walks away from YHWH it's becoming more depressed?)
We don't keep these commandments to be saved (basically the problem with Galatians. To use a Torah example, was Abraham blessed before following YHWH's command or after? Before right? Because he loved his Elohim. But because he loved Him he listened whenever YHWH spoke to him) but because we are saved. We show our love back by doing our best to not sin so we might be pleasing to YHWH (and sin is transgression of the law, and we are told expressly not to lean on our own understanding but instead to lean on YHWH's word for guidance). By doing this we can present ourselves as the spotless bride and make our bodies living sacrifices because how were the sacrifices presented to YHWH supposed to be? Perfect without blemish.

@@dadinggo In what way am I lost? The burden of proof lies on the person making the argument to support their claim. I am willing to accept any rebuttal you might have Scripturally to support your viewpoint. Today's my Sabbath day (the true Sabbath day is Friday evening to Saturday evening but my job usually makes me work Saturday so I have to keep YHWH's fourth commandment when I am able to. It's not Sunday as that was a day of pagan Sun deity worship, it's even in the name.) So like in Acts when Peter and the council agreed that the gentiles coming into YHWH and Yeshua's embrace must start coming out of the world by stopping fornication, drinking blood, eating what is sacrificed to idols and strangling, and then each Sabbath hear the law spoken to them from Torah that they might learn even more commands, hear I shall be to speak even more words.
Torah is what is missing from our churches and our people. We have failed to make ourselves any different from the rest of the world. This is how we do so. This is how we, come out of her My people.

I think the key word is "God does it". If we can manufacture that by spiritual practice then it's not God. We can align our heart to God by renewing our mind with Scripture, we can posture our heart for it. But at the end of the day we simply surrender, and let God do whatever He wants to our heart.

Question- since Yahweh promissed these blessings to his people back than, today, us who believe in Jesus, do we get these blessings and promises also? I learned that all those who receive Jesus, are called Jews/ His precious posession. Is it correct to claim those blessings from past to us today?? Because I am claiming them all.😀😀😃😃 Thank you.

Hi Tim. Just a small question, why do Christians use Hashem’s name ?

  • @sleric3
    @sleric3 Рік тому +1

The Law was meant for Adam and Eve in their original state. Adam was obedient to God and complied to all God commands since initially he had a relatively limited freewill. They fulfilled the Law without any problem. Fulfilling the Law was probably a requirement to remain in Eden (or something equivalent but essential - e.g. may be to deny other beings entry because they can’t comply with the Law). The devil in his revenge against God targeted Adam and Eve since they are built according to God’s image, and if Adam and Eve are turned evil so God should be same as well. The devil was well aware of the consequences of his act and know that once Adam and Eve will not have the humility and wisdom they had when they were under God supervision, they will act selfishly to the detriment of each other. Since then mankind tried to fulfill the Law to return to Eden but kept on failing due to temptations and selfish acts. God realised that and sent Jesus to fulfill the Law and become eligible for Eden as well. He can then provide the access again. But the “apple” problem is still not resolved. Jesus still requires us to follow His teaching so that we can live peacefully in our original home.

@@proudpharisee5303 Not eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil could be considered as a Law (i guess). Adam was an obedient servant of God doing what he is asked to. After sinning he has able to question why he is doing something (aka rebel) but does not have sufficient knowledge and wisdom to properly discern whether it is good or not and the lies of the Satan did not help either.
Fooling Adam and Eve was obviously important for the Satan as it enabled him to have control, as now Adam and Eve are more likely to fall in his temptations. We should now fight back and give God control by resisting the temptation to act selfishly or sinning. In other words, to be able to discern good and evil and stop serving the Satan but rather serve God by showing more love and compassion for others.

@@sleric3 I am merely pointing out that since the Bible was given at Sinai way after the sin you can’t place the point of the Bible as being for before sin…. Moses didn’t think that, neither did Joshua or Samuel or David…. The Bible itself is clear that it means for it to be practical instruction, right then and there in the desert…. God doesn’t “realize” oops i messed up by giving them a Bible that they can’t do… he gave it to them despite knowing the sin of Adam. To believe otherwise is conspiracy thinking but like on the same level of those who believe that Finland doesn’t exist…. The never went to moon theory has more credence than thinking that the giving of the law was illegimate since Adam had previously eaten from the tree.
This was the context of my question - if the law was given prior to the eating of the tree you would have a more cogent argument (a faulty one nevertheless).

No, because living in this fallen state of constant tug and pull of advasary vs spirit that murders God's beautiful creation and idly stares at the murder is not a blessing nor is it being a blessing as we are to be.
We can not live God's blessing if we do not embrase our fallenness, well, guenuinly anyway.
