They don’t talk about it in history though but the explorers came with Hebrew translators 🤔 definitely food for thought. Just because you practice the religion of the Hebrews does not make you one and I know many Jews are merely converts..but I was also told how we gave our blessing over to the weeping white man. Lol 😂
Years of alcoholism was slowly ruining my life. My marriage, my health, my finances. Every aspect was not left untouched by my decisions to continue this lifestyle. No matter how hard i tried, or how much i wanted to stop, i couldn't. Finally at the bottom, with what seemed to be an impossible situation, I turned to God. I cried out to God with broken and repentant heart. As i made up my mind to yield my will to God, God filled me with the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the Bible describes in the book of Acts. My life forever changed at that moment. Its been five years. God has been good to me.

Lazlo Lorintz Oh I’m careful alright.. I’m very careful to humble myself often, and get in touch with the a Spirit of God, and when I do, I speak in tongues just like the first time. And I walk away renewed with the power to overcome this world. Paul said that he speaks in tongues more than all those tongue talkers in the Corinthian congregation . And he also said “forbid NOT “ people to speak in tongues... I’m not talking about learned babble, or tongue twisters... Oh yes, for every real thing of God , there seems to be a counterfeit put forth by Satan...... I’ve got the real Holy Ghost.. And it is evidenced by speaking in a language that was not previously known to me...
Congratulations from a recovering alcoholic. I too cried out to God because I couldn't get off that merry go round. He lead me to Alcoholics Anonymous which lead me to a deeper relationship with our Creator and father.

The changing from water into wine was the first miracle and essence of his ministry which was and is transforming justice(water) into mercy( wine)( blood).

An excerpt from my forth coming book.!
Meanwhile, back at the garden, we have a very problematic situation.! A sin had been committed of such grave proportions, that it would change the history of mankind forever... almost.!! god had called man out, and as he came forth the questions and answers begin and then end with "condemnation" of all that took place.! This part of the writings is of utmost importance, for it reveals many things about this god, that make no sense at all to the reader who is just reading and inquiring into why things are now the way they are.! One who is trying to understand this god that has been presented to them by others as he who was responsible for all creation to begin with.! How can these exchanges of words between he and his creations make any sense at all, to anyone with no more than common sense and adequate logic, investigating this exchange? How could they possibly accept this as truth, as something that actually took place, at least in the sense that it was written.!!
Though there have been numerous apologetics written over time about this and everything in genesis in general, none really explain the need for a book of truth, a holy (separate) god inspired writing, to need to be defended to begin with.!! Either it is the "words" of god, or it is not.!! Either it is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, or it is not.!!! for one to defend it, one first has to explain "why" that which is thought "infallible".. would or should be defended to begin with.!! It should either stand on it's own as being such a writing of truth, or fall,.. for it's failure to do so.!! Since when does an all powerful all knowing, perfect in every way Entity or Being, need his inferior creation to act as a group of religious "defense Attorney's* on his behalf.? Which is exactly what the apologist, ( Bible Police) do.!!
Before going forward, one must also ask "WHY" A god, who already knew both good and evil, would even put a tree, that when the fruit was eaten, would cause his creation to be cursed if they did decide to eat of it.? It surely wasn't because god himself would have need of it if he knew both... so why, outside of it's probable pleasurable taste, was it there.? And why was the tree of (eternal) life also there, and not have any punishment for it's consumption attached.? What would have happened if they had eaten from the tree of life first and later eaten of the tree of good and evil, Why was this so fearful to god that he turned to the ""other gods"" to declare that since they, Adam and Eve, had eaten this fruit, they had to be removed from the garden so they would not be capable of eating from the tree of life.?
Now I could understand that if this life giving tree was needed to keep the God's themselves alive (eternally) by consuming it's fruit...if it indeed had fruit, that like all the other fruit trees, including of course all nut ( fruit) trees also, he created had also, but if that was the case...why not keep it somewhere else other than the garden.?? And again, why if the gods [Elohim, the plural form of the singular "Eloah"] were "eternal" having no beginning or end, need a tree that would give him/ them or sustain them infinitely.?? Either your infinite or your not.! If you create a tree that gives infinite life, yet your already infinite, then why would the tree even be necessary.?? The whole situation stinks of either lies or downright stupidity of the priest class and scribes, from what I can see, ..and really never quits throughout the old testament.!
Also why would the creator of all there is, have need to Council with the (insinuated)..."other gods"?? Is he not capable of determining these things by his self.? Were these other gods present with him before creation started, before he spoke the words " let there be light"? Were these other gods as the BP contend, the son and holy spirit.? If so, then why try to also maintain that he even in the new testament, is/was a singular/ "monotheistic" god.? You can't have it both ways.! keep in mind that the Hebrew word "Elohim" the plural of the singular "eloah"... is being used here.! and though the "Bible Police"..(apologist).... will tell you that the two are used interchangeably throughout the old testament, to denote a singular being, ...it is clear in this case that it has to mean a "plural" form of the word, if its to make any sense at all.!!
So now we know we are NOT dealing with "A" god.... but with "God's " plural.... that changes the whole dynamic that upsets the very foundation of humans dealing with A "Mono"- theistic being.!!
In the same vain, the part about " be fruitful and multiply and "Replenish" the earth and the "bible policing" of that sentence and their answer, is also not truthful.!! You can go back to before man was created and see or notice that in Gen: 1:22 that god said to all the living creatures to be fruitful and multiply and "FILL" the earth....yet tells mankind to " replenish" the earth.!!
the Apologist state that replenish means "to fill" but if that's the case, why would the teachers..rabbi's and Scribes, within several verses of each other, not use the same term they had previously used in Gen.1:22.??? what reason would they have in changing Fill with Replenish, if there meanings were "Identical" ?? And even as to the word "Fill".... is that meant to indicate a partial filling, or a complete filling as to the complete fullness of a container, such as a cup.? One can see that the use of words used throughout the Hebrew writings, lacks real descriptive evidence or definition as to say with total confidence, that what is being put forth as "The Absolute Truth" falls incredibly short of doing so.!
On the other hand... text that most people of the bible, if any, do not know of, that write of who and how the earth and its lifeforms were made that preceded the Hebrew writings by more than two thousand years, and who knows how much earlier in unwritten language forms,... is the "Sumerian text" which speaks or tells much about both " E-dan" and creation and the Adam (Man) and the "God's" of the Sumerian' s, that were responsible for our very "hybridization" to begin with, quite differently, yet more convincingly, than anything contained in the much later Hebrew writings.!
Without doubt, if both are read, one can see that the truth is that the much later Hebrew stories and writings, came from the "Much earlier" Sumerian stories that we have found.!!
One also has to keep in mind that Abraham himself came from and out of "UR" A chief city of the Sumerians, and was fully aware of their gods and teachings.! And also that the Hebrew god that called him out, was adamant about who he was and how he should be worshipped and thought of, as his TOP commandment "NUMBER 1"... "I am the "LORD" " thalt shall not have "any" "gods" ( Elohim).. before me.!!" let's us know, Showing that this god was different than the Elohim gods (plural)... but in what sense, or senses.? Or was it instead that he *WAS* of the Elohim, but against what the other higher God's* were doing, and how they were acting, especially against that which HE had created (man/adam) and they hadn't
(*higher gods meaning that they had the role and power of postion, but were not themselves one's who could create, that was given only to the eldest son, and in all cases..to Ea/Enki...the eldest son of An/Annu.).. the Ruler of heaven or heavens. (More on this later.

In one book, I think it is in Matthew, it says that Jude hung himself on a tree and in another book it says that he was working in his field, tripped, fell and his guts came out and he died. I will stick to Jude hanging himself.

Adam and Eve covered themselves with leaves of a fig tree. They became like trees, and passed their imperfections to their offspring, then on down through all generations.
And that’s why humans have bush.
I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!
Amen and Amen! Praise God! He will not leave us nor forsake us and He dwells within us and us in Him

One thing that I always think about is the fact that trees rarely die of old age, except they are cut down or bow to the exposures they face. They tend to live a long long time some for thousands of years. I wonder if that is reflective or an indication of the length of life that man was to live.

Some trees live a couple thousand, some live 20 or less. They fall because they are dying.

I think before the flood yes it was that way, there is a lot to it we are not told in any church, but in ancient writings it talks of rulers who lived/ruled thousands of years, i do think there is something to it.

To keep fear of the Lord is to keep fear of the Lord in your hearts.
Take his words with the utmost importance and think of him as not a joke but your father and creator.
I'm going based on my own whim here, but the way they describe "fear" in the bible to me isn't, "Elohim, the all might warlord who conquers worlds, fear him and obey him or he will kill you", it's more like how you would have fear of your parents or boss.
Think of his scolding before you do something bad or something you're not supposed to do, or something wrong.
Don't fear him because he's going to rape, kill and pillage. Fear him because you love him, and respects him like you would your parent or boss.
The advice he gives you is advice that's going to benefit you and help you out. Not the other way around.
A warm, guiding sort of fear basically.

The wine looking at you, almost makes it seem like it's referring to all intoxicants. The sparkle of good weed, the shine of good coke. I'm an addict, and working on recovery, this was the verse that let me know that weed was a problem.
Adam and Eve covering themselves with fig leaves because of their shame is a picture of thinking we can cover our sin with our own works when really we need the lamb of Gods blood, hence why God replaces Adam & Eves fig leaves with the skin of an animal God kills for them. (the animal gives it's life for their covering pointing to Jesus)
And maybe the leaves were from a fig tree because the fig tree represents Israel and Israel thought that they could attain salvation by their own works
Aaaaand. Quite literally someone realizing they really screwed up, the guy they wronged made them and all of space/time is coming back and they understand basic wrong and right. Being nude when speaking to Emmanuel after defying Him falling in the wrong category. It also made man like the angels, a blessing and curse to understand right and wrong. I have a small personal favor to ask to the Bible Project team;
I wanted to show to my mom a video that was published around 2 years ago called *How to Read the Bible: Biblical Story* , so I wanted to put subtitles in Serbian so that she can understand everything, I soon found out that someone has already translated the whole video from English to Serbian yet there still isn't this option to put up those Serbian subtitles in the video, there are 26 other subtitles but that one still isn't available.
Could someone approve those subtitles so that my mom can understand everything?

Idk if this has happened yet but I know when you email the Bible Project team someone will get back to you. They have always answered my email questions. In a pretty timely manner with an abundance of knowledge. So they aren’t just an email company hired to go through emails. Just a thought. @Brazilian Goddess it's because Jesus was fully man and fully God. He was the only sinless human being because he was God the creator in flesh. And since humans are evil wretches in the heart and soul. We need a savior to ever see heaven. Because God is so Holy. Through accepting Jesus as our Lord a d savior God supernaturally puts His spirit in you and you are forgiven sins and you become eternally joyful and full of inner peace. This is all because of what Jesus did for us humans. Our current world is fallen and cursed from the garden so we need a savior and His death was symbolize the wrath of God because of sin. So we humans who accept Him into our hearts will be sealed and saved from Gods wrath up on the earth in the end of this age. It's not hard to understand you just need change of perspective that Jesus is saving us from evil and hell. It's His gift to you!! You just need to receive it and believe trust and have faith in God.

So understand that its believing and having faith in God. You cannot mix new age or occult pagen worship. Goddess is pagen. pagenism is a religion that is NOT of the God of the bible. They realized their nakedness cause the light of Gods glory left when they sinned and the fact they covered them selves is symbolic for man trying to cover his sin on his own
The serpent depicts the god Enki or Ea ....... he gives the Adama the knowledge (DNA) which makes him almost as intelligent as the Anunnaki. When the god Enlil also known as (YHWH) finds out he decides he will destroy mankind with the predicted flood.This story id found on the stone tablet called Atrahasis (London Museum).
So whoever wrote Genesis, had no intention of telling future generations about our beginnings or the fact that there were 'gods'.....Elohim (plural) on the earth at the time. And God said let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness ....... what more do you want.
If you listen to all these people harping on about the Bible in the literal sense you are totally missing the big picture. When you go outside and start reading and researching all will become clear. The church is simply writing it's own narrative to get between you and the true CREATOR. ....... and I don't mean God. Hope this helps.

I too loved this point! I do get a little hung up with the places in the Bible that tell us to ask of God in full faith that God will deliver, and not to waiver in faith. I’m not sure if we should pray in a way that glorifies God for answering our prayer because he is almighty, or to not pray for things directly but instead to differ all judgement to God. I’m on the Autism spectrum (kinda down the Asperger’s end of the scale) I don’t think many many on the spectrum are very ‘spiritual’ as we are more attracted to a ‘logic’ world view (in other words we really struggle with things that aren’t obvious and don’t appear to make a great deal of sense). I have trouble with the words ‘fear god’! Is there a way of interpreting this that makes it seem like less of a threat? I feel that I would reject eternal life it meant living in fear, just so long as the alternative is annihilation (none existence) not an eternal life ‘burning in hell’.

Jesus' only rules WERE NOT love God and neighbor. He was quoting Det. And Lev 28... The Father and Yeshua are ONE. The father's commands ARE JESUS' COMMANDS. You can't love the father and disobey his commands. You can't keep the commands if you don't love him. Ignoring the Torah is disobedience to Jesus. Prime example the Sabbath. Jesus is our Sabbath. He is the rest yet we are (still) commanded to keep that day. So to not is to be in disobedience. Willful disobedience is not love.
As a Grace believer, I see that two trees like this. The tree of life represents a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The tree of knowledge of good and evil represents the law. Paul describes this in Romans 7. He did not know what was right and wrong until he discovered the law, and when he discovered the law he discovered sin and he died spiritually. The children of Israel also come to this choice after they leave Egypt. God desires for them to all be like Moses, to be a nation of prophets that all have a relationship with him, but they reject that idea and they tell want Moses to speak to God for them and they will do whatever God says. So then the law comes and they start being punished. throughout the OT and into the new, we see Israel's failure to live by the law, so God bring the New Covenant through Jesus. The story in Genesis seems to be a warning to all people not to live by rule based religion which bring death, shame, condemnation, self-righteousness, division, and the illusion of being separated from God. Instead, we should live by the tree of life which is a relationship with God through Jesus which is based on unconditional love, grace, mercy, faith, and humility.

Really, "...by providing water..." (timestamp = 39:37)? When did God say "let there be water"? Genesis 1:2 states, "Now the earth was formless and empty...the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters"; thus, there was water before He got there. The first thing God created was light, "Let there be light” (Gen 1:3). Therefore, God only brought order to the chaos of the waters by 1) creating a vault between the waters (Gen 1:6); 2) "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place" (Gen 1:9); 3) gathering the waters into seas (Gen 1:10); 4) "Let the water teem with living creatures" (Gen 1:20).
Is it then possible that the waters that God hovered over were dead (similar to the dead sea after God rained down sulfur and fire on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah( Gen 19:24-25)) and with his breath/air He made the already present water into living water? In John 4:10, when Yeshua asked for a drink of water from the Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well, He said, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
When stating, "there was water before God got there", correction -- God is the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega, there is no other god before Him nor any after; He alone is the one, only, and true living God.
With that clarified, please allow me to expound upon the properties of water from a scientific viewpoint. The laws of conservation state both energy and water can neither be created nor destroyed --only converted from one form to another. For example, liquid water can all be changed into another state like a solid (ice), gas (vapor from boiling), and even plasma (blood).
Genesis 1 is so detailed about the story of recreation but there is no mention of "let there be water," plus understanding the laws of conservation, not to mention scientists and explorers know more about the outer spaces above than the oceans beneath (marine kingdoms and such), I hope I am not out of line by drawing this conclusion?
Another point is noted in Genesis 2:5-6 ("...the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth...but mist came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground."), this mist is a state of water (vapor gas = evaporation). The first time rain is recorded as falling is Gen 7:1-4, which may have been God opening the windows of the sky to let the waters above the filament pour down. Rain, thereafter, is now on a water cycle (evaporation, condensation, precipitates, etc.) as God promised with the rainbow not to destroy the earth again by flooding (Gen 9:13-17).
I hope this logic is biblically sound, but please correct me if I error.
Jesus also curses a fig tree. Is there any connecting symbolism? Between the stories of Jesus cursing the fruitless fig tree and Adam & Eve (humanity & life) wearing fig leaves (possibly taken from the Tree of Life)?
Also we “put on Christ” who is our source (tree) of life. We are “covered” or “clothed” in Christ (Gal 3:27). If fig trees represent the Tree of Life, then Christ does for us what Adam and Eve were trying to do in the garden.
Also as I was listening, I noticed how big the leaves are on the fig tree (fiddle leaf) in my living room. Maybe they chose those leaves because they were large?

Not sure myself, the points made ate interesting though, and would need to look into that further myself, but on the obverse, we have Yahweh dressing them in animal skins, showing that our sins require a cost in blood, and those animals died to cover for their sin.
We know the spiritual death, and often cite that how in relationship with God, they died, but just had the thought, would they have physically died that very day, had they not put on the one that died in their place?

The way I understand the differences between the types of creation or the levels of creation in genesis 1-3 and man being exiled from the garden into a disordered area that is still technically a part of God's "good" creation, is that there are different stages or levels of God's order. furthest is straight chaos, next is the dry land of which man was created, which in and of itself is nothing but potential. then the place Eden, which denotes plants and animals and some semblance of order and harmony or symbiosis between the plants and animals but which harmony is likely to deteriorate without intervention. and then the Garden in Eden which is the place of self sustaining order and harmony, and then the center of the Garden which is the object that bring that perfect order to the garden.
This obviously parallels the tabernacle and temple symbolism, and narrative, where the closer you get to God, the more centered and higher spiritual plane you attain unto. This is also a mirror image of the levels of Heaven spoken of in 1 Corinthinas 15, where the symbols of the Sun, Moon, and Stars are representative of the levels of order and glory found even within that heavenly realm. This life is meant for us to determine and choose which of those levels or stages we feel most comfortable living in and abiding by (pure chaos, wilderness, Eden, Garden, Tree of Life) and that is where we will receive an inheritance in the life to come, (outer darkness, Stars, Moon, Sun, God) and just as there is spiritual differentiation between those that live in each of those Mortal/garden places there also will be spiritual differentiation between those who live in those heavenly levels. Thus this Earth life is a reflection of what will be in that Heavenly realm.
In regards to the covering with the fig tree branches. I've never had anyone go into that either untill it come up... Which made me think about it...

If your trying to relate it to and say they were trying to look like trees it don't make sense as they ate fruit not branches or leaves.... Though it is in our nature, that for so many when they sin, they cover themselves with the same sin again to try n go unnoticed... Something that strikes me about the trees and taking of leaves as clothes is Eve and Adam ate of the tree to feel more awake and alive and independent… and then hide themselves behind leaves that looks alive and independent but which will die now that they been separated from the tree… just like Adam and Eve will now die separated from God in the garden and from the Tree of Life. And this “alive leaf now dying” problem is corrected by Jesus who offers to graft us back onto the living tree so we can have eternal life as if to grant us the fruit of the Tree of Life after all.
The art and focus is on the fall.... Like the arts we focus on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil like not even Focusing on the fact the Tree of Life was always there
I really enjoyed your discussion about order in Genesis. My pastor just recently spoke about how God put everything in order in the garden too. God was over man, man over women and then the animals. BUT it was during the fall that everything was disordered. The snake (animal) deceived the woman who influenced the man who disobeyed God. Is the the Exact opposite of order in which God made it. I don't think God said that anyone should be above/over another (I stand to be corrected). Most of us get that bit wrong and it ends up being misused especially by us who are called by God's Name.

The tricky bit is that those who are entrusted in teaching God's Word have misled (intentionally or by mistake) His flock with their own subversions. The Holy Trinity remains The Holy Trinity. Trying to compare mankind (men, women, children) or even animals to The Holy Trinity to make the point not only confuses those they are teaching but passes on the wrong information about Who God is.

The tree of life represents God Himself as life to man. The ToK represents man gaining knowledge apart from God to determine what is good and evil in his own eyes. The ToL represents dependence on God and results in life. The ToK represents independence from God and results in death. These 2 lines continue throughout the entrire Bible developing and completing in the New Jerusalem with the tree of life and the lake of fire which is the second death.

Another awesome aspect of this story is that Gods next move was to cover them in the skins of animals, showing them that their future covering(Christ) would come from the shedding of innocent blood. The Bible is so multilayered, and true is so many ways from so many different angles.
