People say karma for how often the Lions get screwed, I say karma for the Rams getting carried to the Super Bowl vs the saints by the worst no call in NFL history
I immediately thought of that play. Refs miss these kind of holds all the time. Was it a miss? Yes. its pretty common. Bet if you scour the game you'd find 2 or 3 more throughout the game... both on Lions and on the Rams.
@mikesmith6292 you realize you are talking to meatheads who can barely tie their shoes? Like they would remember Goff was the Rams qb? It's all any of them have talked about all week. Truly pathetic.
@@kingchiefsv8024 not really. Us getting called for false start when it was CLEARLY the defense stopped a potential TD. Yall can keep coping lmao, see you next year
The no call was pivotal! Rams would have been in good shape to score a touchdown or at least a field goal, not to mention that there wouldn’t have been much time left. Pathetic to see the refs decide a game like that.
Refs miss those all the time it’s impossible to get every call right. It’s easy to see when you slow it down but in real time you can easily miss things like that. Also there was still like 5 minutes left when this happened and the Lions had all 3 timeouts lmao, there definitely would’ve been plenty of time left
@@dylanstafeil1050 Yes, these calls are missed but some missed calls are mor pivotal than others. This really impacted the game. Think about where the Rams would have been if that call is not missed. If that call is made it would surely have a psychological impact, perhaps a momentum impact. It’s not like the Lions ran away with the game. It would have been up for grabs! The refs took that away. Pathetic non-call. Just my opinion.
You must have missed the “false start” on 4th and 5 against the Lions that would have given them a first down in Rams territory. That call could have been equally as pivotal, and was an infinitely worse call than this.
Also how many times is a Hit like that called as a hit on a defenseless Receiver?? I lost count how many times ive seen the Broncos get called for that this year alone
As a Lions fan you do have a point but I think the NFL made an example out of Jackson. I personally don't feel like any of his hits were that egregious. Lions WR St Brown got fined 40,000 for what basically looked like a routine block. NFL is out of control lately.
@@eliasgonzalez5357leg WTF lmao you need glasses bro. That was shoulder, Nacua naturally falls down due to Gravity. Lions played DIRTY, ok Bite Kneecaps don’t target the Kneecaps. They tore Higbees ACL. Smh Dirty Lions tbh but I still rather see them in the SB over SF.
@@RuizSBLVIChamps facts those were dirt hits on Stafford, Higbee , and even Nacua , Rams paid for the Cowgirls game against the lions, what a bunch of BS ..
Its playoffs and stafford threw a hospital pass. Stop crying a veteran qb knows better then to throw high over mid. Qbs been way to comfortable throwing hospital passes and lions the only onrs making them face consequences. Even tom brady said qbs are playing sloppy. Because their trying to take advantage of a softening league thinking hospital passes will go unpunished by the defenders well heres their wakeup call.
shhhhh....missed calls only apply to teams whose names do NOT rhyme with Schmions. Folks forget that the Lions have been scrood for years by refs. Scrood so much that the NFL changed rules just to justify the crappy calls. There are a few eyes watching 22 dudes flying around a field...things get missed. It's part of the game...win through adversity.
What about the other PI they missed earlier in the game on Demarcus Robinson or on the same drive Puka was held, “holding” call on Rams RT Rob Havenstein when it was as day that Aiden Hutchison was already falling to the ground lmao
Bottom line! Detroits Defense sucks and they won’t make passed the next round nor win a Super Bowl..Refs saved your ass on the final drive by Rams that would have been a first down then a field goal to win..enjoy the moment because it only gets tougher
That non-call is essentially nullified by the non-called holding penalty on Hutchinson that was even commented on by the broadcasters. Was there an actual penalty called against the Rams at any time during the game that wasn't a penalty? No. No? Then why was this clip posted in the first place? Playoff games routinely have non-calls that would be more of the "chippy" types of calls, and that was one of them. Now, calling a false start that wasn't but was instead a neutral zone infraction and would have been a first down for Detroit and put them close to field goal range was a much bigger official's mistake. That official's mistake forced Detroit to punt.
It was posted because it was the last time the Rams touched the ball you halfwit.... this was the biggest no call in the entire game. And had it been called would have drastically changed the game. Duh.
That penalty was egregious I will admit. But how many times did Detroit touch the ball after that? Many times. This play the game was over for the Rams.
@AyeTeeJay91 Point well taken. However, if Detroit wasn't called for the false start they would have had a first down, and perhaps after that a touchdown or field goal, and the game could have been much different after that and the non-holding call on that pass play may never have happened. It's impossible to know because it didn't happen that way and any discussion about calls/non-calls is, in the final analysis, a moot point, with the possible exception of certain egregious calls that clearly and directly affect outcomes, such as the Detroit/Dallas 2-point fiasco. All we can really do is accept what calls _are_ made and, as a result, accept the outcomes as well. Both teams got breaks, which is inevitable these days I guess.
That false start call didn't just ruin a potential TD, it straight up killed the offenses momentum. If that isn't called, I genuinely think we see another 40 point game.
That false start call didn't just ruin a potential TD, it straight up killed the offenses momentum. If that isn't called, I genuinely think we see another 40 point game.
Absolutely a penalty. Clearly the tug kept him from elevating to go get that ball, which, judging by that guy's hands, he absolutely would have pulled down.
Hutch was held damn near the entire game and it was called ONCE. Officiating is so fucking bad in the NFL it's unfathomable. And regarding that offsides that was somehow turned into a false start, there needs to be a rule change. If a defender jumps offsides like they did in that play, it should supersede an offensive lineman reacting AFTER the fact. Either that, or penalties need to be able to be challenged. It is absurd what refs have done, and will continue to do with any repercussions. Some of these blown calls have massively changed the outcomes of games, and nothing happens. Technology being what it is nowadays, I see no reason why they can't be challenged. While not being a perfect fix, it would certainly help turn the gray area of officiating a little more black and white as it should be.
A penalty wasn’t called (ruffing the passer-an oversight) when the Lions defense’s late tackle about crushed the Rams Quarterback rib cage, and just missed stepping on his face. You can clearly see the man was in pain. Not cool at all! Seriously the game was tanked!
Just because the man was in pain doesn't mean it was a late or dirty hit. The hit wasn't late, neither Hutch or McNeil drove into him, both pulled up and didn't even fall on him. The ball was out for 1 second before they hit him hence why no flag.
@@Monte91your bugging if you thought that wasn’t roughing the passer it absolutely was the replay showed it the DT hit him on the way down and lowered his shoulder late to hit Stafford as he was already falling down. It absolutely should’ve been a roughing the passer or a late hit. They were purposely trying to get our guys hurt and played the whole damn second half dirty. I’m not the one to make excuses as to why a team lost but at some point the refs gotta do their damn job. They held all second half long because they couldn’t stop our offense without holding. The reality is it wasn’t in the script for the rams to win and I’ll stand by it because had the refs did their job and the rams would’ve went up at that point. If they go up by a TD and convert on a 2 Pt conversion they knew Goff wasn’t going to throw them back into the game to win. They also didn’t want the rams to kill the clock. There’s just something that has to be said about the officiating. I know I’m going to here what about that false start the lions would’ve scored. That was one drive. The refs on three drives didn’t throw flags that would’ve put the rams in the red zone. At the bare minimum your talking at the least a 9 point (3 Chip shot FGs) to 21 points (3 TDs) taken away just because of poor officiating alone. I know refs will miss calls but they were purposely not throwing the flags which leads me to believe that the script was what it was. That same referee last year kilt the rams against the Seahawks and called the worse officiated game ever to the point people were saying he was trying to fix the game. So when you see a flag not be thrown at all purposely what are you to think? If that ref called 1 or 2 of the missed penalties the rams likely win the game or they put the game in goffs hands to throw and tie the game which the NFL couldn’t have. Due to the fact they didn’t think he could get it done. If they did it like that Stafford would’ve broke detroits heart and the lions lose. I know rams fans can’t talk about PI calls but to miss blatant personal fouls is wild to me.
@@heavyhitterbullycrew11 Read the rules bud and look at the step count. Also read the rules about incidental hits. The rules state what they state bud, it was close but sorry, you're wrong.
Those hits were targeting cmon bro karma. The beautiful thing is that I wake up to nice weather and beautiful life while the lions fans wake up to Detroit lol
@lifebykainyou are so full of nonsense I could smell it from here. But I'll give your obvious troll a score of 2 out of 10 for making me want to reply. 👍 If you REALLY were a Detroit fan and you - actually did feel that way, you would have enough wherewithal to know to keep it to yourself.
> _"it feels good to be on the other side of these"_ Damn straight! This is especially after how, I remember watching the Lions/Cowboys postseason game where the Cowboys player had an obvious pass interference against the Lions player... only for them to take it back! That would have been our first playoff win... if not for the refs to decide to just screw over the Lions for no particular reason. The fact that the refs THEN decided to fuck the Lions over AGAIN in a Cowboys game last month was even worse!! But! Seeing them when this time has been such a breath of fresh air, and knowing that they're going to go back for at least one more home game is just that much more sweeter. I'm extremely happy that the refs decided to not screw over the Lions for once!
It kind of makes you a dirtbag. Im a Rams fan and i remember the NFC game a couple years ago. I hate when that happens. At no point did i feel good about it. But it was what it was. The difference between you and me. I was angry that the false start was called against yall. It was robbing us of a potential good win. And the difference between that call and this call. It didnt cost you the game. And not even the call when you played the cowboys cost you that game. Its not the reason we lost this game but it did cost us the game.
Man i don't like the rams but i hate seeing calls like that .. They called the eagles for 1 second shirt tug in the sb and yet this dude was hugging him before the ball got there.
The arm around the back isn't going to get called unless it manages to redirect/twist the player which it doesn't seem to do here, the shirt tug however is fair obvious though but who knows where refs were positioned and who was looking where. It's not like they were probably staring specifically at Nacua (although everyone at home knew who the #1 read probably was going to be), so when Stafford fires it off the only ref who could see the ref would be the one in the back corner who was 30 yards away, if you look at the play there's absolutely no side judge where the play happens, so I can understand why it didn't get called. Refs don't get the luxury of slow mo replays from the perfect angle.
@@ferdinandalexander8053also goes uncalled often. It wasn’t egregious and it didn’t stop puka from getting to his spot. He was able to get his hands on the ball, I doubt he even felt the tug. The ball was just a little too high and Sutton got his hand in there.
@@Evyn11 Not how I see it. It stopped his forward progress enough so he didn't have a chance at the ball. Regardless, holding a jersey is hold, end of story.
You could look through the whole game and find multiple missed calls going against the Lions. Hilariously obvious ones too. Thats how football is. Its just people are so used to Lions getting screwed by the calls that they cant believe it when it doesnt happen lmao
WOW that was so obvious. He tackled him before the ball got there. They should hold the referees accountable. They saw the infraction they should be fined for ignoring the pass interference
It's the NFL man, how many times have you watched a game where a ref was not 5 feet away from a play staring right at it and didn't call a thing? It happens, it sucks when its your team and it pretty much puts the final nail in your coffin, well not really... if the defense didn't give up TWO first downs afterwards they could have had another shot, but it always feels particularly horrible when it's closer to the end of the game and not the beginning.
Ok then what about that hold on hutchinson? No way you dont see that. Stafford would of been sacked anyway. Mfs wanna cheat then cry they dont get a call😂
Yes this is definitely a lot of contact but both teams were guilty of this. There was also a pass interference on the Rams defense not called early in the game. Plus lets not forget about when the refs called the offsides penalty on the lions that was clearly a penalty committed by the Rams
theres always this guy who claims it isn't rigged or bs because some false start in the first quarter offsets a game changing play at the end of the game lol sheep
Exactly. That trash false start call stopped the Lions drive right before halftime. They would’ve had a first down at the Rams 30 with a minute left. Would’ve easily have scored a field goal or perhaps even a touchdown. So there were good and bad calls for both teams…No excuses!
@@Mark-oy1wvproblem was it was one det didn't get and 3 the rams didn't get (2 PI and roughing the passer). Alot more points taken off the board for the Rams. Those are just the facts. Take the W given to det but sucks they won't get the chip. They aren't good enough on defense and if you plug the run with pressure Goff is the same ol scared QB.
No it wasnt.. stafford threw a hospital pass bud . Everyone knows you dont throw high over middle. Qbs have been getting way to comfortable throwing hospital passes and everyone acts shocked when the defense finally stands up and stops the bs. Even Tom Brady said it
This game was full of terrible calls by NFL refs yet again. This play was clearly a hold, but I can point to at least 3 calls off the top of my head that were bigger misses by the refs. The long Puka TD they missed a holding call on LA (Anzalone) was basically dragged to the ground), the blatant "false start" call that was actually encroachment (would have lead to at least a FG for Det if not a TD), and the non called holding against Hutch. The moral of the story in the NFL once again, is that the refs are trash and they need to find a way to fix it.
#1, stop hiring women to prove some kind of point. They are too slow to keep up with these men. The old men are bad enough, but adding women just compounds the problem.
Stafford being hit in the head 4 times in the game. Barely any calls most game, but hey THEY THROWING THE FLAG in a game altering choice. Instead of a 26-24 final drive for the Lions to go down feel. It's 23-24 and the Rams punt.
officiating benefited Lions way more, they had an egregiously bad no call in the most important moment of the game. The one bad call rams benefited from was first half.
Anzalone wouldve knocked that ball loose if nakua hadnt have even been touched at all before that. He's lucky it wasnt closer and he didnt get laid out. Also, seeing angle from other sideline Hutchinson was held like crazy on that play. He wouldve had a sack without that. Even from this angle slow it down to .25 speed, the OL was yanking on the back of Hutchinson. Also, the same OL started moving his right leg slightly before the snap. D@m a lot got missed on this play
It's great that the Lions won. I'm sure game tape could reveal a ton of calls, or even non-calls that could've effected the game's outcome. However, the bottom line on this particular play is that Cam Sutton held Puka. Hutch may have been held too, now that would be offsetting penalties requiring replayment of the down. Also, Anzalone could've gotten a penalty for the head shot at the end of this play (defenseless receiver). See rule 12 section 2 article 9. The refs miss calls all the time, however when a player operates outside the established rules, the refs have got to do a better job making calls! Let's just hope the Lions win the next game. I also hope the Lion faithful will not act as if we beat an individual and won a Super Bowl after the Bucs game. The celebration for winning one playoff game, not to mention people saying "we beat Stafford" made no sense! The goal is a Super Bowl, not a playoff game!
The td pass Stafford threw to Atwell was also a bogus play due to the Rams rb getting beat off the line by anzalone and blatantly tackling anzalone from behind, right as anzalone was about to sack Stafford. They td never happens if anzalone isn't tackled from behind/held. It was gonna be a sack, but in this case it should've been a holding penalty, easy.
Yeah that's it that's the ticket . They also had no angle on the targeting or the roughing the passe earlier. It's all about angles and they just don't got none
@user-tp4um3ff9d the entire 2nd half was a clinic in how not to ref. They allowed the lions to hold on to the Rams receivers for dear life and numerous dirty hits to get their outcome. Without the zebra scum the Rams win going away. It's all on tape baby .
If you've watched Lions game for the last 30 years you understand that they're owed about a hundred calls. Trust me nobody has any room to complain about bad calls against The Lions. P The team the organization and the fan base is owed some bad calls to go our way.
@@kingaxl1100 nah, kinda like that no call pass interference on puka that would’ve put the rams in game winning position. Or the no call roughing the passer on Stafford that would’ve put the rams inside the 5. Or that no call unnecessary roughness call on Ronnie rivers that would’ve gave 15 more yards to a drive that was about to pass into Detroit territory. Or…. You get it, I could go on.
They were holding allllll game, Rams literally had to bring a sewing machine on the field to fix all the torn jersey’s. But I guess that is the advantage of home field, the refs get caught up in the crowd. I will say this though, if they try to do the same in SF it will get called every time. And they better not complain about the refs that game.
I’m a saints fans and I’m happy Detroit got the win. rams i know yall mad af but it is what it is Vegas fucking yall over like how they fuck us over in 2017 saints no call lol😊
That was a hold and there was a roughing the passer not called and another pass interference on the left sidelines where D Rob was sandwiched before the ball arrived! The RAMS are a better team and would have won if the refs called the game by the rules. GO RAMS!!!!
Rams lost because they didn’t score when they was in the redzone. Point blank. The refs didn’t make them kick field goals or force Rams to waste two costly timeouts in second half.
Stop it dude that was 6 years ago and that has NOTHING to do with this , you Ain’t fans are a joke, the Rams got their Karma in the Superbowl against the Patriots so get over it 😂🤣
We either need to help our officials with existing technology or sadly start passing out a game ball to acknowledge their game changing assists to the winning teams.
There was an offensive PI against the Rams that wasn't called also. These two plays and 10 others weren't called so stop crying about non calls. One Pride
This truly is the ultimate karma. Lions have been getting screwed by refs for years, and in 2018 the rams had their season saved by a non-PI call. So ultimately who cares lol
Ok. Rams could have scored given the missed call. Same for the Lions in the first half on the wrong offsides (much easier to call correctly). It's a wash and the Loins win! Bet there is some Saints fans who have a say how the no call went for them.....
What about the other PI they missed earlier in the game on Demarcus Robinson or on the same drive Puka was held, “holding” call on Rams RT Rob Havenstein when it was as day that Aiden Hutchison was already falling to the ground lmao
They weren’t gonna call pass interference no matter what. It once the Lions learned that Rams players got hurt, hurt bad. Why not hurt them if the refs allow it?
Yes the REfs are horrible this year. And paid off by Dallas and Green Bay. But the Rams hit a Lion receiver who was out of bounds. And they jumped into the nuetral zone offsides, but Detroit got called for a penalty instead, that cost us a score. We made it to the red zone 3 times and got 3 straight touchdowns our first 3 times with the ball. That's 21 points, you scored 23 the whole game. You made it to the red zone 3 times and kicked 3 field goals. Which is a difference between 21 and 9 points. So you weren't going to score 13 points on this play anyway. And our Coach would never punt you the ball with 4 minutes left. Your coach did, and when he did that I knew you weren't getting the ball back. We get screwed by the refs more than any other team, us and Cleveland. That's why we scored 3 touchdowns on our 1st 3 times with the ball. so the refs don't decide the game. in a single cheating call. We got screwed in the Dallas game. But it didn't stop us from beating you. Now Dallas is out, Pats Statsford is out. and next we make fondue out of the chesseheads who we beat 20-6 this year.
And offsides not called instead of lions false start as lions were driving to score before end of the half? If you want to win an NFL game you have to defeat the opponent and refs bad calls. As a lions fan I declared this against my team even during the Dallas game debacle and all the Lions bad ref calls over the years. It's just part of the game. Score more points so the refs can't influence the game!
what about the hit on rams number 89?hitting an defenceless player or leading with the helmet?what u think?PASS INTERFERENCE NOT BE A CHALLENGE OR NOT REVIEWABLE PUTS REFS IN CONTROL OF OUTCOMES AND THAT IS WHAT THE NFL OR OWNERS WANT FOR WHAT EVER THE REASON!!
Was a good game. Missed calls everywhere. Rams got calls favored for them in SB & against that infamous saints team. Shit happens. Lions veen dealing with it so long there are docs on youtube an hr long. Rams rookies r nuts yall r fine
Honestly, I think the refs were afraid to call anything like that on the Lions. Especially after they took a touchdown or FG away. Yes it was a bad call, but one needed to go the other way to cancel out the false start.
All of those calls were every game calls that every losing team points to. The fact that your kicker missed an extra point, and the Lions just played better than LA, lead to your defeat. Enjoy your bitter pill. Seriously, enjoy it. Don’t worry we know what it tastes like. It is just so nice to have someone else taste it for once. At least you know what it is like to win a Super Bowl. Just not this year. (No the Lions won’t win either… no one is that delusional.
It's the NFL, what do you honestly expect? The refs always miss calls like stop crying about it noe that it's happened in the playoffs, not like the refs haven't fxcked over Detroit the past 25-30 years
Bro they drilled Stanford too !!! That’s wat caused one of the fgs I see roughing the passer on soft hits but wen a Qb actually gets drilled it’s not roughing the passer he released the ball too fyi that was so unnecessary!!!!!
Dude the Lions were screwed the whole first half to allow the Rams to make it a game....talk.about that. im a realistic person....it could been called a PI but realistically he didnt affect the movement
The best part of any win is watching the fans on the other side cry like babies. Trust me, we've had our share lf doing it too in Detroit. We've had NFL rule changes over being screwed. You'd have played another team if the ref didn't screw up a lineman reporting as eligible.
Not illegal to hit a defenseless player. 3 types of contact not allowed on DR. 1. Hitting head or neck. 2. Using crown of helmet to hit other player. 3. Launching into a player (leaving both feet and using any part of helmet to hit other player) Doesn’t fall into any of these categories so no DR call.
There were a lot of bad calls, as usual. That this one may have helped the Lions is not any bigger deal than all the other crap missed by the refs in this game (some of which hurt the Lions). The refs can't be virtually everywhere and see everything. That ball doesn't look catchable to me, anyway - not that it matters.
just stop!!!! Every Team in the league has players do it!!! Just some get away if it and some don’t. you obviously weren’t watching the game only highlights. You aren’t calling the Rams out for their missed calls are YOU, conveniently!!! i agree then they should call every single penalty in the game, but they don’t !!! GO LIONS!!
I mean could the refs have thrown a flag there? Absolutely, 100%, no question it was less about the arm around the back in my mind and more the jersey tug that gets that yellow laundry flying. Was it a HORRIBLE missed call? Only in the sense that it would have kept the Rams drive alive and allow them to get closer to perhaps move ahead which considering what happened after that is pretty dang big. But if you took a magnifying glass to all plays on that game it probably wasn't the only missed call that kept a drive going, and was absolutely NO WHERE near the egregiousness of the missed call with the Rams/Saints a few years back. If you watch this one at regular speed from anywhere by behind the play you won't see anything, so I can see why it was missed.
Cost rams the game. Sorry f$#@king refs and NFL let receivers get freaking mauled as well as the quarterback double sandwich they put on Stafford. They got to be paid off. In the NFL doesn't give a damn. It's better Business for them for the Lions to win. the games would be a lot more fun if they wouldn't let the receivers and tight ends get mauled as well as if they really had a no-hit rule on the on the quarterback. We see those great games of 50 points each team etc. it would just be blast and there's still be plenty of good hitting going on as well as interceptions.
Yes let us talk about it.... About 100 more no calls on the Lions and maybe we get back to even.. I won't even bring up past blown/wrong/egregiously slanted calls against the Lions over the years. Hutch was held numerous times and the Rams player doing the moonwalk in the neutral zone false start eff job tonight is enough to vindicate any calls post facto.... 0/3 in the red zone sealed the Rams fate.
What about the false start call when Rams encroached? What about Anzalone being tackled from behind/held during the blitz on Staffords td throw to Atwell? That td would've never happened if Anzalone wasn't held. But the Rams rb tackled him from behind after getting beat off the los. So in theory, that TD shouldn't even count. Yet everyone cries about a small tug on Nakuas dress. Nakua still was able to jump and the ball went through his hands. The tug on his under shirt was as trivial as they come. The real reason he didn't catch it is because Stafford nearly got him killed again like he did to Higbee. Throwing it high, Nakua saw the second defender closing in and took his eyes off the ball. He didn't want to get his clock cleaned. The small tug on the shirt didn't cause that , the second Defender caused that. Stafford whined to Kirby about the hit on Higbee but didn't want to take any blame for throwing higbee the ball while a defender was closing in full speed. Also, all these Rams fans whining about the smallest tug on a under shirt but they weren't complaining about the Rams pass interference no call in the end zone against the Saints that allowed the Rams to go to the SB. They don't cry about that no call, only a small tug on a wr extra long, stretchable under garment
I hate this shit. Yeah okay sure its holding or pass interference - but no game's officiating will ever be completely perfect. Lions get bad calls all the fucking time. Look at the Cowboys?? "Officiating needs to be better" we will be saying this until the world ends.
We know the league is for entertainment purposes only. Given all the broadcasters saying Look at all the story lines and how they played out. with the Lions last Championship being against S.F. 1957, What kind of storyline would that be in the Det beat SF. to go to the superbowl.....
As far as the no-call goes isn't KARMA a bitch. How about that Los Angeles. I remember a no-call that knocked New Orleans out of a trip to the Super Bowl. Kind of stings don't it McVay.
Good. That is what they deserve since they benefitted from the most impactful no-call in professional sports history against the Saints in 2018. The NFL is an awful declining sport anyway.
If you go look up the losing team fan base after EVERY game and I mean EVERY game they cry n cry n cry about the officials. Refs aren't ruining game instead its fans from the losing teams that are ruining games. Nobody ever tips their cap to the other team... sportsmanship is gone.
I think ot needs to be said that the moss 15 of hesr a game every game, DB's commit penalties on MOST plays th is a fact., calling them all would ruin the game, same for O-line holds, we want the calls but we dont want to see whatgames would look like i they called every single penalty
As a Rams fan, this is not the reason why we lost. We lost because the offense was ineffective in the red zone. Plus, I think it's only fair for Detroit to have a bad call go their way for once. They've had enough bad calls go against them.
Kudos on not going all out ballistic on the commentary. Yep, it definitely could have been called a penalty, but on a bang-bang play such as that, you can give the refs a little leeway. Blown calls are part of the game, like it or not. Heck, if every call that could be called was called, this game would be a shit-show that nobody would want to watch.
Oh no! The refs missed a PI call that would have helped Rams?!?! Well they shouldnt have let the game that close. They still had plenty of time left to win…..what else we’re yall saying when you did that to the Saints? 🤣🤣🤣
Ghost holding when hutch slipped that took rams out field goal range, and this called cause the Rams the game,The refs are always horrible man,🤦🏽♂️ they really be bad all year
I loved the 2nd half of the game, why? Because the REFs actually let them play football. Fans are hypocrites for calling the league soft now but want flags for every single play.
Clear unquestionable pull on jersey with left hand and pull down on hip with right hand that Puka would have caught as he didn't drop a ball all game and the pass was on the money. Awful inexcusable missed game altering call period
I really hope we play Detroit Early The fact we got Jonah Jackson makes it that game that much Exciting I cannot wait for that game this I have it circled #thehousealwayswins
This referee crew was all over the place. They missed calls on BOTH sides that were crucial and then started to throw flags to makeup for it. I think the ref crew couldn’t communicate properly in that noise.
Points literally taken off the board at the end of the first half on the botched false start call. Lions would have had a field goal attempt at minimum. That call was so bad that it calls for every flag thrown to be reviewed immediately and corrected if need be. Otherwise there is no point in watching. No flag, no review.
I hate the Lions but I personally think a no call was the right call. I hate when officials flag slight jersey tugs when they don't seem to really impact the play. To me I don't think that little tug is what caused the incompletion
i understand why rams fans are pissed because I would be pissed to. But at the end of the day it comes down to if it was an obvious call which. On the angle it's close but it's picky. That's basically one of those plays where the ref has to assume it is or not a penalty
So you are comparing a false start in the 2nd quarter with a PI that handed the game to the Lions. Same old Lions fans. They still have that loser blame the refs mentality. Now do the roughing on Stafford they didn’t call.
Don’t want to hear a single rams fan complaining about a missed pass interference call in the playoffs. Acting like they didn’t benefit from an even more egregious no call in the playoffs.

It's been awful
People say karma for how often the Lions get screwed, I say karma for the Rams getting carried to the Super Bowl vs the saints by the worst no call in NFL history
Yeah but Goff also benefited from that 😂
I immediately thought of that play. Refs miss these kind of holds all the time. Was it a miss? Yes. its pretty common. Bet if you scour the game you'd find 2 or 3 more throughout the game... both on Lions and on the Rams.
I thought the same thing. Karma for the no call on the saints. It's scary how much impact refs have on a NFL game

Pathetic non-call. Just my opinion.

The lions r quite good, except for that Swiss cheese secondary 😂😂😂.

How many times was Hutch held, or the offsides that wasn’t called but called against lions for false start

The moral of the story in the NFL once again, is that the refs are trash and they need to find a way to fix it.

officiating benefited Lions way more, they had an egregiously bad no call in the most important moment of the game.

Your coach did, and when he did that I knew you weren't getting the ball back. We get screwed by the refs more than any other team, us and Cleveland. The best part of any win is watching the fans on the other side cry like babies. Trust me, we've had our share lf doing it too in Detroit. We've had NFL rule changes over being screwed. You'd have played another team if the ref didn't screw up a lineman reporting as eligible.
My favorite part is the people who's lived are so empty they go on social media to cry about people crying...what losers
@@TheAlexZorba Ahhhahahahahaha. While getting paid on lunch to boot. The best.
That was also a hit on a defenseless receiver,
Not illegal to hit a defenseless player.
3 types of contact not allowed on DR.
1. Hitting head or neck.
2. Using crown of helmet to hit other player.
3. Launching into a player (leaving both feet and using any part of helmet to hit other player)
Doesn’t fall into any of these categories so no DR call.
Your a Ram fan and I am the king of France. Pleased to meet you.
You're not a Rams fan goof
100% holding causing the shorter jump and ball off the finger tips. Hahahaha about time the bad calls or non calls get spread around a little.
most important drive of the game and the refs cant even call that PI. Thats no professional sport lol. rams got this game for sure. but good job goff
The game didn’t come down to that non call, Hutch got tackled by their right tackle and that holding was not called? Hutch would have got a sack.
Make up call for the off sides on the Rams called against Detroit for false start .Or make up non call. That changed the game also.
They also stomped on Stafford.. literally stomped on his chest...after a helmet to helmet hit... Neither was called..😮
