The relation is these men love power. At first, they have access to beautiful women who wouldn't sleep with them if it wasn't for the money and fame they promise. But that feeling of power is fleeting to them, because then it becomes easy.
So what do they target next? They target the most protected, vulnerable group they can. Imagine the rush of power they feel getting access to a protected group (minors), and getting away with it, all the while knowing they are exploiting and potentially ruining those kids' lives forever.
