Would this be a good pattern for making placemats? I have to make a set of four placemats, need to use cotton and would like them to not be thin...if that makes sense. I've made swatches with I love this cotton from hobby lobby, and while I love the way it flows, it seems really flimsy for placemats. I could use advice from anyone on here as to the best yarn to use as well as the best stitch. I've tried learning the thermal stitch which would be perfect, but I'm a long way from being comfortable making a gift with it. If possible, if anyone has advice, could you please me on messenger? My name is Judy Gagnon. Thanks everyone
