I’ve travelled to 87 countries in my life (I’m 30) and if there’s one thing I noticed it’s that with each further country I visited - the ‘oh cool!’ and intrigue at finding out I was British declined sharply as time went on, and soon became ‘oh you had the guy with the funny / messy hair right?’ and ‘isn’t it true the UK is a really bad dangerous place now?’, and I can’t even lie, most of the ‘3rd world’ countries I’ve been to were actually safer, happier and in a lot of ways, ran better than our little island.

Channel 4 has done some great reporting on Gaza that's why I will let this insane questioning pass here. But just think about the question: Would that have changed something? First of all: yes. The UK is sending money and weapons to Israel. Stop sending weapons builds pressure. And secondly, it is the right thing to do. It is a moral stance and the Palestinian ambassador has correctly summarized it: playing politics and their careers are more important than standing up for children and innocent civilians. And lastly: every media outlet in every European country is arguing the same way. Thereby media is giving cover to the complicity of Western governments that have aided the occupation for 75 years and sent the weapons with which to enforce the regime.
Why should we support people, who don't respect human rights and hate our values? Look at muslims causing problems in the UK

Ceasefire means *BOTH* sides stop firing, so they BOTH have to come to an agreement to stop.
That would very well be the case if Hamas HADN’T been agreeing to a ceasefire for a while now, including the release of hostages
It’s the Israeli government and Prime Minister that has denied any agreements for a ceasefire multiple times, even going on to attack and bomb the Rafah boarder where many innocent Palestinians have been displaced to as their last place of refuge in Gaza
