- Call of Duty Vanguard at one time was one of the most hated Call of Duty titles ever released. But at as time has gone on I feel it might be one of Call of Duty's most underrated titles. Yet in 2024 with things like cheaters and the start of server issues. I can't help but say Vanguard in 2024 is unplayable.

bro the game was plagued with connection issues and still is to this day. mp was once again infected with campers and unbalanced dragons breath shotguns. the 50 attachment gunsmith was actually insane. zombies you can’t pause on solo. campaign was a mockery of history. don’t forget vanguard introduced the worst warzone map with those poo poo planes. wdym no good reasons 💀

I agree with like everything. Zombies and campaign were mid but MP was good with its own identity
I played almost every call of duty ever made and vanguard is 1 of my favorites the only 2 things I didn’t like about the game was the amount of people camping and the double barrel shotguns the zombies wasnt that good but I still found it fun and it was good for leveling up guns
i played vanguard from season 4 and 5 and that shit was fun as hell
vanguard is the best cod hands down since Black ops series. I'm redownloading vanguard as we speak . I got over 477 hours in the game since launch

Vanguard was actually not bad, i love the campaign tbh, multiplayer is alot better than some other games, zombies was alright in the end, the zombies in vanguard is much better than zombies in mw3

Blue Print Gun Game is the most fun since the real MW3 DLC's and like the MW3 DLC's, it had a good run with mostly cheater free game play. MW3 DLC's were mostly cheat free for years, Vanguard BPGG lasted about 18 months before the party pooper cheats turned up in consistent numbers armed with the new horror cheats that were developed for MW2R.
I think Vanguard has the best and smoothest movements and detailed graphics out of all the CODs I've played and that's more than half since COD4 was released. But then I have been playing Vanguard on my new rig build in 2021 which was the first since 2011.
Start playing this game again on my ps4 cant believe how perfect it is on last gen ,no texture pops , no fps drops.Vangaurd is the last call of duty that looked and performed well on last gen consoles while mw22 and mw23 have ps2 graphics and textures on ps4 and i cant even believe how they release mw22 and mw23 on last gun with a price like this and its clearly a big scam

The truth is, what I like about the multiplayer is the 10 accessories on the weapons, it's super fun, what you can do, but it's a soulless, meaningless game. What were SHG's people up to?Why not a sequel to wwll?In the 50s at least.

Still play it now daily, 2nd best cod ever for me, but it is full of campers with lmgs now firing 24/7 from the back of the map

To put into perspective how impressive Vanguard was on a larger timeframe, it was legitimately one of the worst performing CoD games of all time until midway through MWII's life cycle, which Vanguard had more support, a healthier community and higher player retention than it's follow up, so much so Activision HAD to pull the plug on Vanguard's post-season support/Warzone Caldera entirely despite doing everything to force players to abandon it since they gravitated backwards organically.
There's a CoD cycle, then there's "DAMN IM SO SORRY I DIDNT KNOW"
The three things that kept me from liking Vanguard:
• Lack of actual factions (seriously, WW2 had “Allies” and “Axis.” Just that would’ve been good enough.)
• No default mil-sim grunt operators (could’ve just been regular US and German army soldiers.)
• No Ground War mode (yes Ik Arms Race exists but it’s not the same.) Chunks of the Caldera Island could’ve been turned into GW maps for Vanguard.
those things were not needed and did not change the gameplay at all

Hello, can someone please help me out? I want to buy vanguard on ps5, but back in 2023 a lot of cods are get hacked and people's are able to get your ip and remotely controll your pc. I'm very paranoid and I spent a lot of time to found out if there is any danger in case of vanguard but I found nothing. Someone knows that the RCE/RAT is still, ever been a problem?

I don't have vanguard and the only cods was WW2 BLACK OP 3 MW2019 and in all of them I mostly plai mixed bots bc I'm bad can bots camp?
The zombies IMO could have been slightly better if everything that required demon hearts cost progressively more than just 1 heart per each. For example, the first level of rarity would cost one heart, and each subsequent level of rarity would cost +1 heart, +2 hearts, etc. It would make each playthrough feel more unique because you'd have to be more tactical with what you acquire and when, while making the later rounds more challenging because you're not so easily OP early on.
Also, I thought how zombies was gonna work for this game to be completely different than what we actually got. I thought it would just be one map that continuously has content added to it, with the first dlc map being something you work towards before finally teleporting to it via the main easter egg for Der Anfang.
It's quite sad that Vanguard could've of been WWII's sequel or something of that nature with vanguard focusing on Pacific and Aftica Campaigns but nope Activision had other plans.
The game is fun as hell the only issue is the multi operators, It does not feel like a ww2 game with godzilla and female operators with lazer guns the only immersion is in campaign
My biggest issue with this game was for sure the zombies as everyone will argue about which cod zombies was the best (WaW,BO1,BO2,BO3,IW,etc) but we can all agree vanguard zombiew was straight ass... And its sad because it went back to the roots of cod zombies and they could have created a nostalgic and immersive experience with a progressive story per map like revisiting the classics. They really fumbled it and now with mwz looking lackluster too i have a little hope even for the new zombies in the next title
I agree I have a feeling the zombies modes will continue to be lackluster experiences. I blame Black Ops Cold War tbh.

Vanguard was not a bad COD game in the Resurgence era. Vanguard was just a misunderstanding that nobody wanted a WW2 game again but ended up being released alongside Modern Warfare 2019 and Black Ops Cold War. I played the game now in 2024 and it’s still good and playable.

Campaign was terrible, zombies was terrible, I will say combat pacing was awesome, and patrol was great too, but the camo grind sucked!!! Literally trying to get 100 kills while making my gun worse wtf

I thought cod WW2 was awesome the story was amazing and the multiplayer wasn't all over the place and crazy, vanguard was one of those games that is okay but it tried so hard to be something else

I am currently playing Vanguard again and it seems like the playerbase isnt good there. You easily get good gameplays cause nobody knows how to play

Tbh I thought it was a really solid game, I liked the campaign missions and I was quite fond of the multiplayer and thought it brought back some interesting features (though I wasn’t crazy about the weapons), however the zombies was an absolute abomination
