Football is extremely difficult when you don’t know the other teams plays ahead of time. No sensible person thought this was a good team. Only the national media has been running that narrative. Michigan usually has a decent defense, but it’ll never be great unless they can obtain another Connor.

I'm from Ohio. Thanks to Woody's disgraceful act at the end of the 1978 Gator Bowl - I vowed never to root for OSU again. Having said that. I lived in Columbus for 20-years and moved 3 years ago (Thank Goodness). The only things that I miss about cow-town, USA are Graeter's Ice Cream, Tommy's Pizza, and the DK Diner in Grandview.
The truth is that the cow-town (Is the herd still visible on Sawmill between Bethel and 161?) is starving for National Attention due to lack of Professional Sports Franchises. Please don't even start with the Jackets.
The fans are poor winners and losers. Come into the office and act like babies after an OSU loss. Grown men, some in their sixties wearing women's make up and wigs to the game. What's Buck-I-Man up to these days? The clown went to Earl Bruce's wake dressed up in his little costume. Signed the family memory board which was exclusively for players and coaches - Urban had to pitch his a$$ out.
Hope OSU is undefeated come 11/30. Michigan isn't going anywhere this year, so ALL PRESSURE ON DAY and his $20mm NIL roster at HOME. Your offensive line and defensive line are still suspect. The OL as been getting away with holding all year - today against Iowa, you guys took it to another level.
Good luck in Oregon. Penn State has a very physical team, toughest that I've seen in years. Franklin gave the game away last year and the year before 4 INTs.
Herbstreit, Galloway, Urban, Klatt, Thamel, Feldman, Perry, DiNardo, and how many others just love to push the "National Title or bust" - "We play for titles around here" Bullsh*t.
OSU has won two since 1968. TWO. Other than beating Clemson during the wear a mask season before getting humiliated by Bama - OSU has done crap since 2014. Nothing.
Now go do something more valuable with your life instead of trolling Michigan content. WAIT! Oh that's right - there ain't nothing else to do in cow-town. Well's there's four things actually...
      1.) Work
2.) Get drunk and stuffing one's face with Wendy's burgers all week.
3.) Mowing the lawn to compete with the neighbors
4.) Depending on season - golf or Buckeye football - or both.
Life is far too precious to live have the wins and losses of 18-21 year old kids dictate your emotional well-being.

@@ReadingsbyDomvery curious to know who your team is. Because winning two titles in 50 years is “nothing” to you. Only a few teams have won more titles in that time span . Not even Georgia has won more than that. Osu has also played in 5 titles in the last 25 years. Won 2 of them. Maybe you don’t grasp how difficult it is actually is to even make it to a championship game. Name more than 3 teams that have been more dominant in college football the last 20-30 years. I’ll give ya Bama. That’s about it.
I’m not sure why you talk so much crap about the city of Columbus. Sounds like you lived there a while. Why did you stay so long if it was that bad? Is it because your financial status didn’t allow it? Maybe Ann Arbor or Detroit would be a safer and more profitable place for you to live 🤣

Harbaugh took years to build a program while Sherone Moore walks in and takes credit for 3 big wins. He did nothing but sit in as interim coach. Sherone Moore is utter trash. At the Washington game he claimed Jack Tuttle has been available for the last 2 weeks. So what you waiting for? What a bad bad coach. What a bad bad coaching staff. At least Jack Tuttle put up points. Orji runs and operates like a wild stray cat. No direction, no poise no calm collective decision making mindset a QB needs to have to be successful. Just make him a WR or a running back. I can't believe that Joe Milton is 3 times the QB than Orji is and Milton sucks bad. The defensive secondary is a Don Brown coverage scheme that Will Johnson won't be able to succeed in. Sherone Moore making $5 million for this coaching nightmare is public robbery and a college football fraud.

People love to repeat a narrative that Ryan Day was handed a ready made team from Meyer, but the truth is Day's first action was to replace Schiano and most of his staff, except for Larry Johnson. Say what you want about "3rd base", or whatever corny narrative sounds cute. Day hired established veterans Jeff Hafley, Greg Mattison, and Al Washington who turned Urban's defense that was ranked 53 in 2018 to one that finished top 3 in 2019. Moore was handed a Natty winning team with a returning #1 defense that many thought was better than last year's. I dont care who Harbaugh took, a team like Michigan should not be replacing NFL level assistants with hires from (Not-LSU) Louisiana, Buffalo, and Umass if it wants to remain nationally relevant. And make no mistake about it, this is completely and utterly the fault of the coaches...period (yes...I'm looking at you Moore and Campbell). With NIL and the very generous transfer portal, there is NO excuse for this. Halfway through this season, and M has had 3 different QBs who have all had some significant playing time, and not one of them is capable of leading this team. NOT ONE!! You will never convince me that the coaches saw no signs of this issue during the off season. And if they did...well, I think that would speak for itself. I think most reasonable fans knew that this was going to be tough season. You can't lose the amount of players M lost after last season, and expect little to no drop off. But this is ridiculous.

  • @Julian-Pike
    @Julian-Pike 2 дні тому +2

The issue with Tuttle is he can’t stay healthy; hence why he hasn’t been able to play until now. The QB situation is because Jim effed Michigan. He didn’t recruit a good QB back in the 2022 class so there was no heir apparent to JJ’s departure. Then Jim took his time to depart to the NFL which deprived Moore a chance to acquire a good QB via the transfer portal. To Moore’s credit, he has done well with the next two HS classes. Lastly how Jim effed Michigan; by recommending Moore as HC. Love Moore, but this is too much too fast for him. Then Wink; this has been a bust. Sad reality is that both Moore & Wink aren’t going anywhere for 2 more seasons. So, three years of suck; then hopefully if a competent coaching staff will be hired and three more years later Michigan will bee good again. TLDR; looking forward to Team 151!

It was great while it lasted. I see 6-6 or 7-5. We just lost too much from last season, both in players and coaches. Perhaps the biggest disappointment is the pass defense, they're ranked 115th out of 134 teams (not 114th as the video states) despite returning 3 of the 4 starters from last season. They need a QB. Tuttle looked fine yesterday. Once you're at the top, there's nowhere to go but down.

Personally, I don't think Turtle really looked good at all. He hit a few open passes, but missed a lot too. It's definitely a desperation move by Michigan to put him in the game. He's a 30-year senior who will be gone after the season, which is at the halfway point. Turtle, Warren, Arnou are all Seniors who are leaving after 6 games. They should just be concentrating on developing Orji, and Denegal for next season. Nobody knows if Jadyn Davis will stay, or even be ready next year.
What they need most of all is an offensive coordinator who can run a better offensive scheme. Kirk Campbell is a pure scrub.

Ernest Haussmann looks like a freshman minus his interception on Saturday .I don’t think I’ve seen him or our other linebackers read a single play right and it’s not on the players entirely but even the commentators had mentioned that Zeke Berry is our most targeted defender in coverages and simultaneously gives up the most yards/completions.. it’s a coaching problem, a fundamentals problem, and problem.

  • @TheJetstream10
    @TheJetstream10 20 годин тому

A lot of this is going to fall on Harbaugh leaving at the end of January and JJ McCarthy also deciding finally to leave by then as well. Michigan was gutted as a team with no time to go into the transfer portal to look for a new QB1 and instead rely on Jack Tuttle to be that player--but when he suffered a UCL injury, a tough nagging arm throwing injury in the Spring, the wheels were going to come off this car and soon. No QB1. Harbaugh left Michigan with no chance of getting anyone from the portal, too little, too late and no one left to recruit. Moore gambled that Tuttle could fit in and do the minimum but hey, players get injured, who knew? No back up. Thin bench there. As for the vaunted defense--again, gutted when Harbaugh took Jesse Minter with him to the Chargers and sorry, I'd take Minter or Martindale in a heartbeat. If Minter had stayed we'd be seeing a different team. If he had been named the head coach, we'd be seeing a different team. But that didn't happen. So, this patient is not hard to diagnose--a selfish coach leaves behind a gutted team both of coaches and players, a star QB leaves late for the same reasons, and a whole new coaching staff has to come together to meet the expectations of the fan base. Not going to happen. I think Michigan will be in the wilderness for a little while but not too long. I'd be more worried about Alabama's wheels coming off because that team seems a shadow of its former self culture-wise and focus. And we'll see if all that money really pays off for OSU this weekend when they finally play a real team in Oregon. It's a new era in college football.

Why is everyone acting like Michigan is this juggernaut that's wildly underachieving? It took them years to develop the core they had last year and alot of them are gone now including the coaches.

The folks on here saying Harbaugh left because he left the school because of scandals and had to leave because the NCAA was coming, are flat wrong.
Two of his “scandals” were for a hamburger and an extra coach on a zoom call.
The third “scandal” was found to have no link to him after a complete investigation.
The sign stealing thing is so overblown and almost all coaches admit that they change signals weekly. Also, from week 8 on, the entire world knew about this story and if you believe it made a difference to beat MSU, it was impossible to make a difference from week 8 on. UM was better than every team besides O$U and they beat them because Day can’t hold a candle to Harbaugh.
Harbaugh recruited like a genius, he signed a 5 star QB, grabbed 3 and 4 stars who he could develop and sent 18 players to the NFL after winning it all.
Harbaugh it still here, would not have sat back all offseason and not signed players in the portal. DEI Moore had no experience and that is why he was the only top tier program to not sign players via the portal.
Lastly, he brought in a terrible DC and OC.
Harbaugh turned around a failure of a program, was railroaded by the NCAA who never found a single link to the scandal and left because the AD wanted Moore.
