I swear for defensive coordinators you have to choose a young guy now. Old DCs are so stubborn and have blind faith in their system they won’t change it for any reason. Younger coaches aren’t afraid to adjust because they’re still humble and learning. I also worry about Moore waiting too long to fire people who aren’t performing and benching players that are playing bad. He seems like he might have too much loyalty but in college people only care about winners, the HC is the ceo and he has to make the best decisions for the team not individuals

Well, you call it cherry picking, and I guess it is kinda. However, you know that your lead on Ohio State was gained before facemasks and black players. Donovan Edwards being more bust than boom is hardly surprising. His productivity last year was virtually non-existent outside a handful of broken plays. With a down offensive line from last year, it's not really going to surprise anyone that a back who lives on 3 yards a rush is doing just that. Your defense looks like it’s built like Texas’s defense from last year. Strong in the middle more susceptible on the outsides. Texas dealt with the same last year with trying to gas Murphy and sweat. Look at our games from last year to see how Texas overcame that style of attack.

Historically, Sarkisian schemes tight ends as more of a safety blanket. If he has a really elite guy (like JT Sanders) or sees a weakness in the team they’re playing, he’ll scheme stuff up just for them, but his TEs still get a good number of receptions because of how he schemes them as safety blankets for his QBs. His TEs also have to be versatile because he relies on them for blocking a fair amount as well.
