Funny scenes include the campfire scene in Blazing Saddles and the “Think you used enough dynamite there, Butch?” scene from Butch Cassidy. I really like the Ten Bears scene though.
Did you bring a horse for me? No, looks like we’re shy one horse. No, I got two too many. Once upon a time in the West. My favourite western, closely followed by Unforgiven.
The comanche were a stone-age nomadic warrior culture. No written alphabet, no religion did not farm, did not make pottery they made war & raided as a way of life. They did not take prisoners & practiced torture - especially women & children, infants were shown no quarter. If you survived a raid you became a slave.
@dino.jay2007 ya I googled it and found out . He was a cool guy , they called him Sonny , my dad's real name was Roma and everyone called him Sonny 😊 . That's how I remembered Sonny
We just named our new kitten Ten Bears. We found him outside alone. The neighbor said he was crying in the backyard for several hours. He was about 2 weeks old, that was 6 weeks ago and he's still going strong, what a warrior!!
That was the greatest thing I took on as a young man . I've had real life many many times. In the scariest moments of any man's life. Ive earned respect 11 times by being true. Most won't believe it, but there are several people I saved from being killed, by talking true.... From Sacramento, to Vegas, to NY, to Mexico, to Louisiana, to Hawaii..... I'll always seek common sense with human heart... But I do my own work. I'm old now and dying..... I've had very few that I respect. Most people fight out of fear. Fear is a weapon or death. Learn how to speak to someone with the heart of a human being. We all get scared, we all wonder if you can keep your kids safe, wonder how to pay this next bill and buy your kids shoes and clothes and not show anyone your afraid of failing. It's a battle I wish I never been in! To this date I've dealt with hurt and evil and greed. I am happy to say that I've never hurt a single human physically. I made friends and hope that they gained experience in human life we all want to feel safe, loved, protected, and support.... What do I know??? I just hope,...... When I know I'm am going to die. I will do like cats... Walk off and die in piece with nature.i don't want a funeral. I don't people seeing me. I want nature to embrace me...let life freed off of me. The ants, the mouse, rat, maggots. I want to feed life as it's has given to me! Good humans still exist
I know what you are saying and I totally understand because some of us are walking on the same path but near the end of our trail. Like you, I've many stories. Most will die with me. Much respect and peace to you.
@@JdKaczmarek no much respect to you. Life was scary at times and I accepted that... But life fed me good at times. I reminisce about all. Jesus was no coward either. He defeated death and his gift is life. Don't discount Jesus because of the bad reputation of religion. He is the new beginning after a courageous life.
I used to pickup Will when he was hitch hiking in the Yakima Valley, Wa. The nexted thing I know he appears in a movie and ends up on the front cover of Time Magazine' I was shocked 😯
One of Eastwoods best scenes. The more you look at it the more you realize how real things were at one time. Now we butcher everything and anyone for the old might dollar. Sad!!!
I met Clint back in the early 2000’s as he married my friend from High School Dina Ruiz. They made a great pair and seemed happy, but it was to be a short lived marriage… Great Actor!!!
“THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES” This by far is my favorite Clint Eastwood movie of all time! There’s a few others also, but if I see this one on while channel surfing, it stops right here and stays til the end every time!😂 It’ll be a real sad day when we lose him unfortunately! No one else like Clint!
When Josie spit (which would have been a sign of disrespect in front of the Chief) Ten Bears knew that he was dealing with a different kind of crazy White Man! Ten Bears knew at once that he would have to negotiate with Josie which led to an honorable outcome.
Got a photo of me standing in the doorway of the mud hut bldg the final shootout took place in...that bldg is in a movie prop museum in Kanab UT. One of my favorite photos as this is one of my favorite movies :)
There is iron in your words for all to see. No sighed paper can hold this iron. It's called counting coup. Ten Bears could have had Josey killed with just one word, but he knew he would die too. And that's how you get respect.
If you ever want to scare the sh*t out of a politician, show them that they are not needed. When people work together and solve their issues by taking care of each other and themselves, politicians will have to step in and put a stop to it. I see this happen in education. The government puts an end to better teaching ideas by awarding grant money so "the idea can spread," but in reality, the money comes with a set of rules that make it impossible to use the new method of education. When you take money from the government or someone, remember you now work for them and you must conform.
Back in those days you did not want to cross the Comanche, the nations of the plains had it up to their eyeballs with the Blue Coats, settlers and everything else.
"Well Mr. Carpetbagger, this is what we call a Missoura boat ride". Clint directed Josey Wells also. This movie set the bar for western movies for me. He is the ultimate gunslinger.
I literally had nightmares after the first time I watched this as a lil kid. It sounds silly, but I had only ever seen white dudes dressed up with paint & feathers as Indians in corny cowboy movies up to that point. That was nearly 40 years ago, but I remember being absolutely sure that Indian with the blue face was going to scalp me in my sleep !
“I came here to die with you…or live with you. Dying ain’t so hard for men like you and me. It’s livin’ that’s hard when all you’ve ever cared about has been butchered or raped. Governments don’t live together; people live together. With governments you don’t always get a fair word or a fair fight. Well I’ve come here to give you either one, or get either one from ya.
