Really kind of you as ever Keith😀. Things like the taping are great for me as it helps to improve the coordination in my left hand. I’ve noticed quite an improvement over the last few years but still someway to go 😀👍
Nice job Leo. I’d be interested in a follow up some time later to see how the paint holds up. We’ve got a brown framed conservatory but white windows everywhere else and the replacement roof on the conservatory is white so I’ve been thinking of something similar to paint the frames white. One tip I use is to wrap the brush and roller in a polythene bag after use so no air gets in. It’ll keep them fresh to continue painting the next coat and saves you cleaning them between coats. Works fine overnight so be no issue for quick drying paint like this
The Allcoat is another one of Zinsser’s miracle paints. I’ve sprayed all the white walls in the house (with the exterior version) and it has a very nice flat finish. It is also tintable to most colours if you want some exotic shade of some colour.

Looks awful patchy
I can say that it isn’t. I’m sure there are folk who can do a much better job than I can but I wouldn’t describe it as patchy at all
Would have been better off with timber windows if your going to paint them once they start peeling your going to have to use paint stripper and paint stripper now crap and expensive
I used UPVC windows Jack as I got them and the door free out of a skip. The Zinnser Allcoat I used really is good stuff, very impressive on the UPVC👍👍
Is this paint solar reflective?
Apologies, I’m don’t know what this means so I can’t help. It is designed for outdoor use mind 👍
Who is the footballer
@@James1993.. It was Adam Lallana when he was still at Liverpool 😀👍
@@Hand-i-Craft did you get to meet him my best one I can say was Gail clichy when he was at arsenal I delivered furniture to his place and met him also met Cheryl Cole delivering furniture to her aswell
Buy the spray - this is stupid paintiog it 👍
I do have a spray gun Tony, however it is an additional expense and if people are considering doing this as a one off DIY job then I think it is better to demonstrate it with a brush and roller 👍
brilliant vid, thanks :) 🙏
You’re welcome 😀👍
Well done mate, nothing wrong with having a go. Been a painter for 25years. You have done a better job than most painters who are after the quick cash grab.
Also for others moaning about painting UPVC, I have seen this first hand last for 8-10years (longer than paint on timber windows/fascias/soffits).
The zinsser products are unbeatable. Do not react, crack, peel providing cleaned and prepared properly.
Dont listen to the haters.
My only criticism is get a better brush & roller or try spraying. The pro rollers and brushes arent much more expensive but will give a better finish, easier...
@@ShaneJenkins-z9r Thanks Shane for your very kind feedback. Can I ask please are there any rollers and brushes you’d recommend for someone like the kind of occasional work I do? 👍
@@Hand-i-Craft purdy rollers, they do a range of sleeves for different finishes/paints. Then either purdy brushes, or Screwfix have ice fusion which are similar to use but just don't last as long (everyday use).
@@ShaneJenkins-z9r Thanks Shane, much appreciated 😀😀👍👍
