    helpful information. It's 'comforting' to see someone who has been through so many slow courses "still working it out". There's still hope for some of us.

      It's a journey, not a destination! I will be "working this out" for years to come.

    Here's my 2 cents. I hate CONES lol. I actually failed multiple time during the DMV actual test and had to reiterate the actual practice using SODA can fill with Water to see the distance tricks with several sizes of Motorcycles and Scooter to actually use the right size of bike and pass the test for the 7th time. To this day I trust my abilities to do sharp turns when *needed*, scraping if I have to or enjoy long cruises in curves. I also ride with Passenger the same. I just adjust my weight, and do a learning curve with my passenger to get used to the bike's movement. Never again would I compare my skills to cones, because it's set based on someone calculation of used-bike while all bikes are made different and not equal.

    Switch the fluid in your primary to the Amsoil Primary fluid and it will smoothen out the friction zone. You won't believe the difference.

    Great practice session Cue! Looks like you're full lock and full lean to complete those tight turns. Looks almost as if you're in a controlled " drop" to get the bike over. Is that exercise 2 or 4? "Trust and believe"!

    • @RidingandWrenching
      @RidingandWrenching  5 місяців тому +1

      Absolutely "trust and believe". As Robert would say, you get that "uh oh" feeling and you let the clutch out a little bit more.

    • @RidingandWrenching

      I suspect that my left turn comfort is due to living in the US. I am never required to do a u-turn to the right, so I don't get to practice them unless I set up cones. I do left U Turns all the time!

      I started riding when I turned 50. I'm 54 now. I have taken the Basic Rider Course, Be The Boss of Your Motorcycle, and Lock and Lean. I practice a lot and I ride a lot. Anyone can do it....but you have to invest in quality training and follow that up with lots of practice. I have never been in law enforcement
