honestly the reason i love these 2 sm is how they’re extremely realistic. i know people complain that they didn’t kiss at all in S2 but if you think about it, S2 took place a bit after S1 unlike island to action. them not kissing as much just shows maturity as in season 1 they definitely had that 1st relationship type of vibe. another thing i love about them is how they slowly become a lot more like eachother. raj becomes more sassy this season and even starts doing the hand on hip thing like bowie does. whilst bowie starts being a lot more softer and goofier, like in S1 how he says “let’s do this” during his confessional really reminds me of how raj says “let’s go get that skull”, same hand gestures and everything. you’d think a show filled with stereotypes would fetishise these 2 but if anything they potentially made one of the best couples in all of total drama (like im being serious.) edit: another thing that some people may not realise is how in S1 raj says “he looks great- i mean he’s doing great. that’s what i said” basically hiding his feelings for bowie, then in the S2 finale, in his confessional he says “isn’t he great” basically embracing himself. its genuinely such a cute parallel that i picked up on
