It legit went nowhere as a plot, making it pretty irrelevant anyway. Just there to get rid of a few characters that weren’t part of the main plot, whatever that plot is supposed to even be right now.

Those are two completely different things. What MK was doing was blatant rule breakage. Bowie was just ruthless and sabotaged Millie and Priya’s alliance, but he didn’t break any rules in doing so.
