Yep. I bought a 6s notorious and did nothing but break stuff constantly. Bought a 6s EXB roller, put the electronics from the notorious plus the Backflip tires. I love my Kraton EXB. Its perfect for me.
I have the 4 & 6S. Strongly considering selling the 6S and buying an Xmaxx during the holiday sale this month. The 4S is almost as fun for my bashing and it doesn’t break parts like the 6S
I had that problem with 2 of my batteries with the kraton 6s… I had to turn the low voltage cutoff down to a lower cutoff level🤷🏾♂️👌🏾 but it work oddly and didn’t have that problem with the same batteries in the notorious 6s
Just got my brand new Kraton 4a v2 blx my first big expensive vehicle like that absolutely love it taking it for a few baby half decent and a couple full throttle runs on 3S to start 4S batteries are going in today The handling is unbelievably good The way it jumps small medium or large is incredible I never understood at first why people said the servo sucked and was underpowered until I took a sharp bowl type turn at high speed and almost smoked a metal pole because I was expecting it to turn quicker but that's not a complaint just need a better servo that's all for doing high speed cornering or really insane turning capabilities but it's so messed up for the pricing here in Canada as far as Amazon goes anyways I paid 600 for my kraton 4s but the same day they had the outcast 4s on Amazon for only $469 which made it super hard to decide on which one because the outcast was much cheaper but I just liked the other one so much more than the outcast that was about a week ago and now today on Amazon in Canada you can get either the outcast or mine still but the outcast has gone up to $649.99 and mine has gone down to 590 both with free shipping but plus tax but the weirdest thing is is that you can order the 6s or the 8s for cheaper than the 4S the 6s and the 8s right now on Amazon and Canada at least for me is only about 570 to 590 but the thing is is that it does not ship and get delivered for about a month from now or so I guess just because of specific sellers maybe on Amazon either way I still love it just waiting for a new lipo charger and discharger cuz the first one I got went up and smoke soon as I put power to it I went with the cheap hobby fan one not recommended for a beginner I had a hell of a time so I ended up going with the IDST smart chargers to take out a lot of the guess work! But as soon as Amazon shows up today I'll be charging those 4S batteries and balancing them and then taking ripping all night and afternoon can't wait PS loved these videos of the comparison especially the one with these versus the outcast It's the only video like it on UA-cam and it was an absolute fucking dream to be able to watch when deciding what way I wanted to go thanks so much watched it numerous amounts of time also subbed and smashed the thumbs up button and shared on Facebook
If the battery is giving out stop running it - unless you are perfectly balanced across all cells then you may be overdischarging a single cell. This will lead to permanent capacity loss, leading to overdischarging etc, its a perpetuating cycle. When you "feel" the voltage drop on the battery turn off the car
I’m new back in the hobby after a 20 year break. I have a Typhon 3s which is a lot of fun but no other experiences other than some Groms for my 5 and 7 year old kids. I have a 50% coupon from horizon. Would you recommend the 4s Kraton or is the Kraton 6s blx a no brainer?

I've been debating a basher monster truck.... i have a King Sling , just need monster truck type tires for it... We have a HANDFUL of different vehicles that take 4S, 8th scale race vehicles and such... so I'm hesitant to get a 6S truck.... i was looking at 3s like the MT10 and Granite until I thought about the size difference, and the batteries, don't really have big 3S packs ..just 2S and 4S ... So you think to keep to vehicles that use common sized batteries, that mayne the 4s and that set of monster truck tires for my LMT/King Sling, might be beter than getting a 6S? Is the 4S still fun ? We domt realy have any big bashers or non race RCs, its all slow crawers, 10th scale stuff, and race RCs... but I'm looking to get a non-race RC jist for playing around whenever more often...
So I’m new to the hobby and I want a kraton but I’m stuck in between which one Togo with the 4s or 6s I heard that I would have to do a lot of upgrading to the 6s right out the box which I don’t want to do since I’m very new to this and would not know what to upgrade and do lol but I was leaning toward the 6s and just run 3s 4s batteries on it till I got all the way good to move up too 6s. LWB or SWB - I don't need another 1/7 as I've got almost everything i want... so are they both 1/8? and what is the pro's and cons of LWB/SWB Kraton 6s? Thanks 👍
Thanks. I am going back and forth between 6S and 4S. But it's the Exb 6S I am looking at. What I was thinking is that the Exb has a lot of metal upgraded parts. Which will make replacing those expensive. Which do you think I should go for? People tell me that I will want to go up to a 6S anyway in the future. So then I'm thinking might as well get the 6S right away.
Nice one, so do you recommend me getting this Kraton 4S? I have the Lasernut I love it and feature it in my channel here but lately I'm starting to not like it as much. It's under repair and buying upgrade parts for it. I'm contemplating selling the Lasernut to fund for getting the Kraton 4S V2, what do you think?
Absolutely it's probably one of the best choices you could make I am very happy with the 4S You don't even need to upgrade anything it's straight out of the Box a beast Maybe just a bigger pinion

Great video. I've been looking at 8th scale trucks, Kraton/Kronos/MT8, deciding which to get. I'm in the UK, currently, the 4s Kraton is £185 (!) cheaper than the 6s. The size comparison looks to me like the 4 & 6 are very similar - I might go for the 4s, and that extra money can go on spares and repairs. (Plus, I'd have to buy batteries for the 6s, not the 4s.) What do you think..? I have a Rustler XL5 that I've upgraded to brushless, widened and modded, and I love it, but I want something bigger and more powerful.
The price of the 6s dropped over a £100, I guess they've got a v6 coming maybe. So I went 6s blx. Got the Radical RC bash bar, RPM bumper/skid plates. Now I have no money for 3 months...
Cool to see all 3 in one video. Sorry to hear about the G2 smart batteries. I have 4 G1 smart batteries that have been flawless. The only Kraton I have is the 4s. When you compare it to buying the 6s it does seem like buying the 6s you get alot more for your money. Which you do, but you have to consider maintenance and replacement parts costs. When you crash you can fix the 4s for less than replacing the same parts on the 6s. Just something ppl need to consider before buying. That being said I will definitely have a 6s and an 8s at some point. J I st not there yet.🤙👍💯
Your math isn’t mathing 😂 the difference of 549 and 469 isn’t only 50 where I come from. Plus, it takes more batteries which is even more costs. Just figured I’d throw that out there

I've been running HOOVO lipos lately. They seem to do really well. The quality of the lead wires and the hard cases seem super nice.
So far, I've had the best experience with those lipos. They never get weaker. And it seems like they last a lot longer than every other battery.

The only upgrades you need to do with the 6s out of the box is Put thicker oil in the center differential.

Whichever way you go, it will be much better than stock. Considering it's a 1/7 scale chassis size
Longer wheelbase, it makes for much more stability.
Were all the ESC settings the same? Also have you tried those ESC's on level 5 with some timing? The change is dramatic on my 8s.

So is Kraton 6s v5 the lastest version...also can you change to higher pinion and just run 6000 4s batts...thanks nice simple straight forward review.
It is the latest. They are coming out with the version 6 at the end of the year. Also you can gear them up

how does the 4s kraton compare to the 4s mojave in size/power?
It's got the same exact set up except for the Mojave has a new center differential.
If you swap out the Kraton 4s esc to a 6s can the motor handle it? Or does that need to be switched out too?
The Motor is 2400 KV. It could probably handle it for about 10 to 15 minutes. At a time.

It just doesn't Have enough Power to do it. Because it is really heavy and Under Powered You have to get an upgraded system

I use zeee lipos also theire really great and cheap. Compared to to the smart lipos.
