    Ok, I use AUXITO T10 in my cars, I have used them for years, They are 6000K and Super White and canbus error free (very important), I have tried others and they dont even come close.
    They also come in Red and Yellow for your brakes and indicators. I wont use anything else after using them. I like them so much I bought multiples if one fails (The have never failed yet)
    I also use them in my headlights and they work fine, very rarely get flashed by other drivers (think I have been flashed twice in 5 years)

      @@Cheato They sure do, just get the right ones for your car obviously. Some of their indicator globes have load resistors built in, so you won't need to wire any externally to avoid hyperflashing. If you get their pack of 10 T10s and your reverse lights take T15s, they'll fit too and are almost as bright as the proper T15 LEDs (at least the $10 360° 10-pack ones are).

    I've always done LED's in my cars over the years & the tech in them now is far better than when I first started using them. The problem with most cars is that you have to take off the front bumper to get to them so it makes sense to use LED's.
    Great video Sean to brighten up our world!

    LED upgrades are also one of my favourite mods. I’ve done every single light in my car, including the headlights (which are projectors), and I’ve even done little things like dash lights and the little red one above the ignition. And just thought I’d say this, I’ve done quite a bit of research on this; you technically _can_ get them to work well in reflectors. I’ve seen plenty that don’t blind others and have a decent light pattern, you just need to get the right LEDs.

    • @DJBla2e01
      @DJBla2e01 2 роки тому

      @@RileysFilms Mine are from a company in Melbourne called Gemtek; I bought their 5000K LEDs from their eBay store and they're a nice, crisp, bright white. Auxito also have some that look good, although I personally haven't tried them before. Otherwise, what you want to look for is ones where the LED diodes mimic the size and position of the original halogen filaments as closely as possible. And if they're H4, make sure the low beam diodes have anti-glare shields under them (most do, but I have seen a couple that don't). Also be sure to stick to 2-sided designs that are as slim as possible. The ones I bought fit all of that perfectly. And as with any LED headlight upgrade, it's best to mark the original height on a wall and align the LEDs to match.

    Hi Sean, Narva has released a indicator LED bulb P/No. 18272BL 12V BAU15s PY21W that Repco now sells which is CANBUS friendly so no resistor is needed. I’ve just installed them on my 2008 BF XR8 Falcon and they work perfectly 👍🏼 no hyper flashing issues. They are currently on sale for $50.40 for a set of 2 & the out of sale price is $63.00
    As always I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos.

    Nicely done, strangely my Lexus GS460 has all LED interior and licensed plate lights, even the taillights but the Parker's where still incandescent, rather noticeable compared to the HID Lows it comes with
    I got the Supercheap Narva branded T10 LEDs, looks a lot better no doubt, the HIDs are 4300k though so might swap those for 6000k when they die so they match the LEDs.

    • @Beer_Dad1975
      @Beer_Dad1975 2 роки тому

      Yeah I have a GS460 too - it looks to me like the license plate lights are Lexus bespoke LED's. I haven't had a dig around in the taillights or the interior lights, but given it's a 12 year old car I kinda suspect if any of them fail, it's going to be a pain in the arse/expensive to fix as they are probably all using some bespoke Lexus/Toyota tech. Fingers crossed they have Lexus/Toyota longevity I guess! The HID's should give few problems I think, they were pretty common in high end vehicles by the late 00's.

  • @toyotabrony
    @toyotabrony 2 місяці тому

    That’s because people putting led bulbs that doesn’t know what to buy for the headlights will blind others.
    Get the correct type of two sided led bulbs. With tiny led chips like SMD,CSP,ZES,flip chips, and Osram, and LMP led chips, that’s also a thing two sided body of the led bulbs, will work very well to mimic the same beam pattern as the oem halogen headlights. No matter if it’s projector or reflector.
    Some led bulbs with their led chips, make better beam pattern than others.
    Some of them work the best for projector than reflector, some others work better controlling the light better in reflector than projector. Some of them works very well for both, some don’t.
    Upgrading led bulbs on projector style or reflector style headlights is the way to go.
    DOT or not. It’s safer, brighter, better, see better and be seeing better. And with correct type of led, u will not blind others.

    Modern flasher units use the bulb resistance as part of the RC circuit to determine flash duration cycle, as an added feature it lets you know when a bulb blows as the frequency increases.
    I am going replace the dodgy existing interior LED's my brother put in my car as bright white flashing is irritating at night.
    The bulb that works in both directions will have a bridge rectifier inline with input to make it universal.

Left it in for high beam though as i travel frequently at night. I’ve long thought though LED in both my AU XR headlights are just wrong and look wrong.
