- I'm gonna miss this show so much but I'm so grateful they gave us this perfect series finale, the wave metaphor was beautiful and the perfect metaphor for the ending.
"Picture a wave in the ocean.
You can see it, measure it, its height, the way the sunlight refracts when it passes through, and it's there, and you can see it, you know what it is.
It's a wave.
And then it crashes on the shore, and it's gone.
But the water is still there.
The wave was just a a different way for the water to be for a little while.
That's one conception of death for a Buddhist.
The wave returns to the ocean, where it came from, and where it's supposed to be."

The actual show didn't make me cry and I easily cry at sad or sentimental things. When I was watching the show there were parts that tugged at my heart strings and made me feel kinda emotional but I never outright cried.
But now that its over im sitting here bawling my eyes out to montages and amvs. This one really got me in the feels! Especially that last part.
