- This is the pedal I got 3 days ago, I have finally found a companion to jam with after playing alone for years, the one & only Boss RC-2 Loop Station..Got it after reading all the positive reviews on harmony central esp. the realistic drum patterns, loop quantize & AUX input features..I hope there are drum patterns for jazz though..Highly recommended for 'self-jamming' & practice..
Can listen to this all day long, especially the part that begins at 2:40, so nice.
Wow!! great job... I am in the same position too here in fla, Great jam session, Love the tele thinline!! MiM of Corona? LOL, Keep up the great work!!! love it. I have the Trio and the RC2. Will ck em out!!
oh ok. thanks!
Got it!!! Thanks! I just had to get the technique down....now I'm fine!! Great toy!!!
that was beautiful man! loved every millisecond of it. me and my friend just had a few joints and we could totally jut be in-dazzled in this weird haze of jazz music. Nice!

the bass goes wonderfully
yay 100th rating, nah... that was brilliant!! 5 stars, awsome playing, i hope i can get one of these!!!
This is great. I was considering this pedal, but you just made up my mind for me with this vid! You play wonderfully.
Just got this pedal, I expect it to take my practice to another level. Nice vid.

excellent work, lots of talent right there!!
live long and prosper my friend
You play really well. I, too, bought one because I only play on my own and this seems the best way to be "in a group." Great guitar and great playing!
i got the pedal too since yesterday, it's soo great
Finally someone feel the same way lol..yeah i can feel how you feel playing bass alone for years too!
I just bought the RC-2. Awesome jam man!
Thanks mate, all you need is a 3.5mm audio cable, vry easy.
Enjoyed the sound, just ordered an RC-2 and looking forward to messing about with it.
Nice grrove you got going.
@EnnesX haha so true man.. now that you mention it! lol
sounds great.. im going to buy this pedal tomrw ! :D
You've just win the Knee Pressing Contest. That's wicked! :D Anyway, nice playing, cool music.
Yaya pretty easy, i made this clip 3 days after i got the pedal & i had actually no idea what's a looper or overdubing until the day i bought it. But you must spend a few hours to read the manual before use. I was first trying to operate it w/o reading the manual and i was lost.
Thanks man..
Ya you can store everything you have recorded in any of the 11 locations..Max record time (memory) is 16 mins.
Ya I was selecting the drum pattern I want at the beginning..there are 33 built in patterns, you basically have to keep pressing the button until you get the pattern you want..
so awsome im getting this pedal
man that really looks like a fun toy. i gots to get one
Excellent work!
Yes it has
Great job, I dig this pedal myself...
dude, that was crasy amazing im definatly saving up to get this pedal, you did a great man :)

I can't wait to get this pedal. I just wish I could find the money somewhere.
Actually i count on it vry much to motivates me to practise..
I watched yr vids before this too..vry impressed of the tone u got out of the valve junior & also yr ric!
Brilliant!
Thank you very much
Sounds like a good option for playing Out Run to. :-)
No problem enjoy your playing!
Thanks this is a 30w transistor amp Fender Champion 110, MIM
@JDog1024 Thank you very much :D
yup..this is exactly wht I'm using it for..practising scale :)
Ok...I am going to have to get one of those RC-2's!!!! Sounds great man!
Nice
I just bought one today. So ar i like it but I am still learning to operate it
I love this loop man! Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Cool!
I want one pedal like that.
thanks
I was initailly planning to get a jazzbox, then I changed my mind & I want something more versatile, especially after listening to john scofield.
This guitar has tone of both singlecoil & humbucker, & a lil bit of acoustic sound. Other advantages i guess are lightweight & loud acoustically for practice (if ur lazy to plug in like me)
It's special, i cant suggest a particular music it's good for & probably that is why it's not as commonly used.
Thanks a lot man...i dont play as often nowadays..hope to pick the guitar up again soon..the exact chords u can check from those older comments of this page I rmbr I posted before..anyways it's basically a ii-V-I-vi
im getting one
This is so cool!
awesome work mate,that sounds mint!
Very nice ;) Love it.
Nice video!
Lovely sound. I didn't understand the chord arrangement when you did them, but when you added the bass line it all came together perfectly.
Dm
that was fantastic! you just made me want to get the RC-2 lol. and that CIJ thinline tele wow, always wanted to get one of those too. keep up the good work man.
I would recommend the RC-20XL over the RC-2 any day. The RC-20XL is going to be much easier to use/tweak/fool around with because its controls are not crammed into a single-size case. Not to mention that it has 3 inputs (I plug a guitar into one and a keyboard into another), a Jimi Hendrix style reverse feature and comes with a CD of about 50 rhythm tracks.
Right on, that was awesome
Hi for home practice and jamming no prob at all :)
That's some top not playing there, thanks for sharing!
I'd love to get one of these, but I since I rely on my amp for effects I'd have to put up with distorted drum loops or just always play clean, which is putting me off a little.
Seriously tempting, though. It would definitely be useful for practicing and trying things out;.
Yes it can! it has got memory of ~16mins, permanent..
I normally use the DUB mode, yeah you will need to count one measure of the rhythm precisely after pressing the pedal before you start playing/recording.
Great job!!! Great playing. I was debating between the RC-2 or the Line 6 DL4, but your video made me lean towards the RC-2 now due to the drum patterns which the DL4 does not have.
love it man.. keep it up
You can use the distortion channel of your amp, but the RC-2 will not be able to record the distortion sound because what input to the RC-2 is still the clean signal from your guitar (the drum pattern will also be distorted anyway). So what you need is a distortion pedal, placed before the RC-2, and use the clean amp channel.
very good, btw
nice jam man! Im ordering the same pedal today and i figured i'd look at some stuff online before i get it and so far it seems awesome.
Nice Marshall, you should lay out a metal jam on it
Yes, definitely...whether the drum beat is running or not when you playback, you can always turn the drum beat volume to 0, which means it is off :)
ya this is true...
I don't have this pedal, but what I've found while using my DigiTech Jamman (a far superior pedal, in my opinion, but that's for another time) is that playing the guitar with the rhythm setting on will prevent "overloading."
Hi thanks..chords were posted in one of the previous comment pages..i think they are still there..
tht's cool man enjoy yrself!
although i do not hv a multi-effect i believe it works the same way just connect your guitar>GT10>RC-2>amp cheers
Yup, but you have to store / 'write' your loop first, you can then change the tempo during playback.
Oh..in this case i think you can either press twice to stop it, or just let it run (make sure not in dub more, LED must be in green). Just make sure the power is still on, then everything will still be in the temp memory :) cheers
Awesome!!!! Get me one Boss RC-2 Loop Station too ya :p
hi..yup im playing through the fender amp..
Haha thanks Danke Schoen
They are different from the original, I understand that the original WideRange is using copper/nickel/iron rod magnets as polepieces; the reissue is using ceramic in Japan & Alnico in Mexico. But so far this reissue model is up to my expectation, it does combine the best sound of humbucker & single coil..i think it's not the fault of the PU but the 250k pots that used on these reissue models..
Yes the drums have a seperate volume knob
Здорово !!! Молодец!
i got the pedal for christmas. best thing thats ever happened to me. i just put two vids up with it, u should ckeck em out
the pedal has a line in as well as an AUX in, so you can put your drum machine through AND your guitar
wow congratulations! :)
ditto!
It's a CIJ 72 Tele Thinline reissue
Omg I know what you mean... Playing bass alone for years is even worse! I got my loop pedal a couple days ago.
ITS MY BEST FRIEND (Only Friend)
Sorry for the late reply i dont log in often...the timing when you press the first stop must be very accurate..you must press-stop at the first beat of the next measure, NOT last beat of the last measure..hope it helps..
Very smooth shit
U rule da haus.
@Horaciow14: There aren't any effects with this pedal. You can maximize the sound on a regular guitar by dropping the tone-knob.
Em A D Bm
awsome
how many tracks (i guess its called) can you lay on the loop station you have?
Or referring to the video clip above the first stop was pressed at ~1:038 NOT ~1:032
Ya i think it will work, just that you can't adjust their tempo in the RC-2 like other built in drum patterns..
by the way love your playing!
Thanks..It allows you to store up to 11 layered loops..But i'm not sure if there is a limit of how many layers you can overdub in a phrase..so far i have only tried up to 5 or 6 layers..
yes it's designed for bass as well..
if you have an fx loop in your amp, i think you can use it, otherwise you'll be adding distortion to the drums
I want one!
Enjoy your jam soon :) I was playing through the Fender not Marshall by the way..
Hi, I'm using 1Spot frm Visual Sound.
I'm not 100% sure as i did that substitution just a few minutes before the clip was recorded but i hope this will help:
Em9 A13 Dmaj7 Bm9
(my guitar's not with me to confirm that now:)
