lovely. I am making my sister in-law tie backs for curtains I would love to do a cutwork design, but I am worried that the interfacing would show through.
Embroidery Library the tiebacks is what I what I w as talking about. I'm sorry, I didn't say what I meant. I have interfacing in between the front and back of the fabric to give it thickness.
Hi Sandie, it would depend on the fabric you're using, and whether or not you cut through the interfacing. We haven't tested it here in the office, but you're welcome to give it a try!
Do you have a video demonstrating the two color cutwork projects you have on your website or are those designs just laying on colored surfaces? If so, that really should be stated as they look like they are 2 color designs. I'm confused.
Hello! The designs on the website are simply shown on top of a colored background, but keep your eyes peeled! There may be a tutorial coming your way soon. ;)
The tutorial says to use a woven fabric like linens. But I've seen cutwork done on t-shirts. Is there a design choice difference there? How is it done on knits?
This is beautiful. I can’t wait to start making gifts.
I just love these designs, they are beautiful!
Thanks for sharing such a great video tutorial Kenny!

Hi Sandie, the stabilizer would be left on the back of the curtains, but it should not show through unless the back is exposed. Thanks!

Hi Amanda, our cutwork designs are not digitized for knit fabric, as that material stretches easily which can disrupt the stitching. Thanks!
Can you sew this with a wing needle
Hi Johanna, our cutwork designs are not digitized to work with these types of needles. We recommend a 75/11 sharp sewing or embroidery needle.
Thank you for your reply
