NOTE: The thing about a lot of fans too is that they don't know any whenever a translated clip is accurate, and thus breed a lot of rrats whenever a translation is exaggerated or completely wrong. And please, don't be a douchebag and harrass the channels I've used as an example.
Don't harass a channel by leaving comments, YT algorithm might judge it as a positive engagement. Just press "don't recommend me this channel" YT algorithm will recommended it less to other people.
We also shouldn't forget that one clipper almost single-handedly made Akirose popular overseas and exploded her sub count overnight. Most of the overseas audience didn't really know anything about her until one really good clip blew up and made people notice her and many of those liked her and stayed. Just having one dedicated clipper can make a world of difference when it comes to a vtuber finding their audience.
Yoooo that's me and my outro! But fr this really sums up how us clippers feel and what motivates us to clip our oshis. The reason why I put so much time in my editing is because I genuinely enjoy it most of the time and it has become a hobby of mine. I'd rather be productive than play games all day and also because I love my oshis especially Sana. Really sucks that she's very underrated compared to her genmates and as a clipper I'm trying my best to promote her in this community. For my overly edited clips and my dedication I have been noticed by Sana herself and thanks me for my dedication and follows me on Twitter, heck even SANA'S MOM watches my clips and told Sana that my editing is amazing which is absolutely insane! Also the people commenting on my videos saying they enjoy my editing and makes their day makes me also smile and is also a main reason why I keep on going. Overall this video is amazing thank you for clarifying us clippers! 😊
Sana's bday and original song are around the corner. I hope that it helps promote her more and make her channel growth. Thanks to you more people are watching Sana! Keep up the good work!
I loved clipping. I really did. But when it got so dirty, I didn‘t wanna be a part of it anymore. Clipping should be first and foremost for the people you love and want to promote, not about your own gain.
Oh nyo... In all seriousness I think this was a very fair evaluation of clippers. Pretty much every clipper has gotten hate at some point but the ones that truly care have realized their faults and changed for the better.. myself included. Great video!
Shoutout to: Yura, Shigure Ui & Other Mama and children clipper/translator. Major Arcana #310, Ookami Mio clipper/translator. Neko Mikuri, based Hololive/Nijisanji clipper/translator. Oboretai Writing, also based Vtuber clipper.
9:29 me when a vtuber says something in a slightly lower pitched voice rushing to my computer and throwing a clip together with the title "REAL VOICE EXPOSED?!"
As a clipper, I think that we live and die by the perception of the community, the Vtubers themselves, and in this context, Cover as a whole. If the Vtuber is happy to see you, then you are walking the right path. Even if you ARE doing it for the money (which as you mentioned isn't actually as much as one would think), it is in your best interest to not stir drama, spawn any narratives, hide clips behind a paywall (a massive no-no), or cause any backlash. Not only that, but it is also in the Vtuber's interest that you don't fuck it up. For some of us, we started clipping because of inspiration, love for the Vtuber, or simply wanting to spread their name around more! Take Nexat for example (a Kiara clipper who has stopped clipping due to irl commitments): he started with a compilation of a stream (I believe it was Mario, but don't quote me on that because my memory is hazy at the moment) because there were so many good moments. I started because I realised there wasn't really anyone to do TL-ed stuff for Kiara. Others would have their own reasons to do so too! As long as it isn't a MASSIVE cock up, the community can be very forgiving as long as you acknowledge your mistakes. Sure, there will always be haters (and frankly speaking I can see why clippers get a bad rep), but at the end of the day what you have to ask yourself is "Does this make the audience laugh/more positively interested in the Vtuber that is being clipped?" If people are happy to see you, then you are doing fine imo. If, for example, a huge majority of people see you and go, "Jesus Christ its that Pudding guy again; can he just delete his channel already?", then you need to do some soul searching. Clickbait can gain you lots of views in the short term, but it is NOT viable in the long run. Eventually, fans will wisen up to your antics and not watch your stuff anymore. Any Vtuber with a sufficiently large audience will have haters (tbh this applies to any content creator), be it due to their own likes/dislikes, opinions on certain matters, choice of games, manner of speaking, or just wanting to be a contrarian, but that DOES NOT MEAN that you should make it easier for those same haters to hate on the Vtuber. Of course, some things that are clipped that are supposed to be light-hearted/interesting will naturally get some heated opinions in the comments, but that is just the Internet being the Internet. And before anyone jumps on me, just know that I know I am not the best at what I do. This is just my 2 cents on the whole thing.
Great writeup! It's nice to hear these things from both sides. I don't think Nousagi misrepresented anything in the video but it's good to have some kind of affirmation I guess you could call it? I'm not great with words but yeah, thanks for the insight!
@@srkares I agree! To a casual viewer, or someone who is new to the whole thing, it doesn't affect or bother them that much, so theoretically the views _can_ still be clocked To those of us who have been in the rabbit hole awhile now, we know who to avoid, but there are wayyyy more casual watchers than regulars
For me personally, the strangest and also saddest thing I saw was the gradual downgrade in quality and character of a certain clipper who was known for clipping mostly Hana Macchia. Good clips but then weird stuff happened and they aren't really a recommended clipper anymore.
i heavily rely on clippers due to not being able to catch streams all the time and though it definitely has its ups and downs they’re like half the reason i still give a shit about vtubers so i have to thank them for that
Same here. I like members of jp and Id girls. I can't watch them bc of timezone difference and bc I don't understand them so I rely on clips. I like the funny moments in certain streams that bring me to watch them when I get time later
So true, as a Lazulight fan I try to watch streams when I can but it's pretty much impossible to keep up with all 3, especially since I'm in the UK (a time zone vtuber companies seem to hate) so most of their streams are either during my work hours or past midnight. I watch what I can and maybe catch Elira live once a weekend but if it wasnt for clippers like PBox, PPDC and Squabbles I would have missed a lot of the groups iconic moments.
@@reddeadspartan I watch streams on my phone with UA-cam Vanced. You can even turn the screen off and the audio will still play so you can just listen to a stream if you're too busy to watch it.
Yep, I'm a fan of Hololive JP but understand 0 Japanese so I rely on translators. I sometimes watch their streams if they're playing a game I'm curious about and I can vaguely understand them but only by their tone of voice. I could watch Hololive EN but they're just not my cup of tea unfortunately 🥲
And just now, Cover has updated their TOS to clearly state rules for clipping and misleading content. Coincidence? I think not. Though it’s been a long running series of issues, I believe this video brought it to the eyes of Cover and inspired some real change.
While it's great they updated the Tos to make it more clear, they covered it with corporate language without stating directly what they are against. But it is nice to finally have some word on the topic matter from Cover
The funny thing is you've basically described the process of how news channels turn into celebrity tabloid garbage noone cares about. Good shit on the ones still working based on passion, you guys are the only reason I can understand the JP talents
Huh, when you put it that way it kinda makes sense. I rarely really read/watch any news anymore unless it's something I'm really interested in because of that reason I think. Just too much drama-baiting and things like that instead of anything actually informative. You just have to dig too deep to find the good stuff, and I'm too busy to bother anymore. I get all my news from like hearing people talk about stuff and if I want to confirm something, I dig through a few sources to see what the answer might be. That's about the extention of my news consumption, that and seeing something interesting on my front page of the browser I use.
Its not just news channels tbh, this literally happened with anything entertainment that involves money. Games used to be a passionate thing from a group of people, now its just buggy trash full of microtransactions. Same with movies now that are using formulas (disney) and milking old titles, or just low effort cartoon series for kids that has no soul at all.
A very well done video! Almost everything you've said is a pretty fair judgement of the current state of clippers. Personally, even I myself am guilty of some of the things that were mentioned in the video, but what I've learnt is that as long as you are willing to own up to your mistakes, the community is pretty forgiving.
Nijisanji handled their clippers really well by making them start a community called clippers corner and even go as far as hiring them to make shorts for the official nijinsanji channel Edit: forgot to add that the management also gave their talents permission to feature a clipper on their channel
Yeah, they are the only I know that have a channel with clipper collaboration. I already heard them when they are still looking for clippers who wanna join.
i guess it works as a sort of natural moderation, other clippers in the corner can step in to course correct someone, and if thats not enough then the livers themselves are involved enough to be able to discredit someone entirely if need be, at least in nijiEN where theres no language barrier
They also join together to celebrate a liver's birthday or an anniversary and make something for them and that goes to show how much they appreciate them, and that is something truly special.
Unfortunately that doesn’t seem like something cover would look into doing. As far as I know cover has pretty much never engaged with the clipping community in any capacity. Most clippers are integrated into the culture and content by the talents themselves who will commission various projects or direct fans towards their loyal clippers.
YOU'RE THE CHOSEN ONE! IT'S SAID THAT YOU WILL BUILD THE COMMUNITY THROUGH CLIPS NOT COMMERCIALIZE THEM. BRING BALANCE TO YOUR OSHI NOT LEAVE THEM IN RRATS. But seriously though. Clip responsibly. Not just the moments but the translation as well if it's different language.
I see this comment the way I’ve kept repeating the duel of the fates scenes… Bring Balance to Y’all Oshis, Not Join Them [Antis]! Also, obligatory South Park liquor ad reference Clip responsibly
I used to be a "normal" clipper, and I realized that I hated doing it because of the many reasons you spoke about. For example, I hated trying to get my clips out before other channels to get more views, or even focusing on the views over the content itself. I also hated the more "sexual" clips, even though I have a couple on my channel because I saw how many views they get. I much more like where I am now with my channel, because I can take my time with the videos, and It also acts as a creative outlet for me. It lets me improve my editing skills, so why not
Pros of Clippers ( Taken from the video) - Brought people Vtubers they wouldn't of known about without the clips - Different highlights or interesting info can be found easily rather then a watching the entire stream for it - Legendary clips forever - Helping the Vtuber industry grow - At first it was just people who wanted to remember fun moments from they're favourite Vtubers - Try to learn a new language so they can understand these Vtubers - A single good clip may be the way to jump start your career - Nousagi Cons - Now with the boom of Vtubers hundreds of clippers are clipping streams to maybe make some monetary gain - Many clippers now use more sexual thumbnails to get clicks - Dramatising the titles to make the clip sound serious and full of drama when in reality it's just nothing at all - Now clippers have a bad reputation in the Vtuber community - Many Vtuber fans are casual so when these thumbnails and clips come up they'll click anyway I hope I got all the points from the video! It's a great summary of the situation Nousagi and I'm glad you're covering it
It's all come to full circle of a regular youtube content. It's all start for fun and giggles, sometimes it's educational. To something we know right now. Ahh Internet. They never change.
Cropped hentai clickbait is the most irritating part of the clipper community. There are tons of healthy ways to create clickbait and these clippers uncreatively tap on viewer's horniness instead
@@GrassSaint33 You're definitely talking about SodaFunk. He was a Hana Macchia clipper at first but went to Holomyth cause that's where the views were.
Great video. A lot of people in the comments have said many things I agree with, but something to keep in mind is that clipping takes a lot more time than people may think. Especially when you put volume into equation.
does that justify the out of context clips? or creating the drama on the clips, because, man takes a lot more time than people may think, especially when you put a lot of volume into equation, might aswell create some fake drama, that will draw more views, hence more money to keep fabricating drama...
I think a contributing factor to clipping becoming more common was also UA-cam removing support for community subtitles. The only way do subtitles for videos became clipping them. Just a contributing factor, I agree with you that the bigger factor was streaming becoming the norm for vtubers.
I was a clipper for an English cartoon. The videos are still live on my channel, most of this video doesn't really apply to me but I did hear some notes that were similar. My most popular video is a clickbait thumbnail. I chose thumbnails based on the best frame that was on screen in that clip, and when I saw that frame, I was definitely using it. Got me all the views, I mean hey if it works, it works. There were a few other clippers for the same show, one of which was a friend who I considered my rival. And it's a very niche cartoon, the pool of viewers was very low in the first place, so I definitely thought I was sharing the pool with him and wanted my videos to be more watched. The reason I was clipping was to give more attention to the show and show off its best moments. Back when people were posting reaction images or using the MyFaceWhen site, I was hoping for people to use my videos as reaction lines the same way. Some videos didn't do so well, some videos skyrocketed. Even the talents from the show were finding my videos and showing it off on their social medias. I never would have even thought of clipping until someone IRL gave me the idea, to do the same thing that another person we both followed was doing for another cartoon (kyrospawn). Since my videos are all from a cartoon I was never able to monetize my channel, so I kept it as a hobby until I wasn't able to have time for it anymore. As for something else you mentioned, I solely watched VTubers who uploaded shorter videos for years because I was never able to handle the amount of dedication you need to follow a livestreamer. Mirai Akari, Kizuna Ai, Miya Kimino. I wish they all had CCs but only Kizuna Ai did, so a lot of foreigners were never able to find the Japanese indies. I couldn't even handle clips because then it would lead to wanting to know the VTuber better and goes back to dedication. A lot of Ame and Gura clips came to my recommended so I was able to know them both well, but there weren't many Kiara and Calli clips, and Ina clips were basically nonexistent.
As someone with a short-lived clipper career, the debut of holo myth was great for me. At the time I was unemployed and I could watch entire streams with no problem. And with the addition of no language barrier, I decided to try myself at clipping (with almost no prior editing experience). What I took away from my, idk, 8 or so videos is that I enjoy long form content more than those 40 second clips with barely any effort in them, even though it's a lot more time consuming to edit these videos. I eventually stopped making clips for several reasons, like actually getting a full time job, or my channel feeling too Ame centered even tho I wanted to do clips for all myth members. Maybe I can come back to clipping if I end up unemployed again lol. Only time will tell. Also I have huge respect for clippers that are loyal to their oshis like MeiMei or Soju (tho Soju had to branch out for obvious reasons). They really just do it for the streamer they like and not just some trendy streamer.
for me monetizing the clips and other commercials are just for... well... simping to them again and take a lil' bit for daily life (cuz i have no irl job sadly). i like buying vtuber merch. hehe. well explained about clippers btw, nice! o7
As a translator/clipper it really upsets me that clips having low quality editing/thumbnail, lack of proper translation, can still get a shit ton of views. I've seen a clipper who haven't made a clip longer than 1 fucking minute, barely having subtitles, and still have 50k views on average. Shit like this makes clippers like me who actually spent time to edit and translate look stupid. But I'm never gonna make low quality clips for views, because that is a disgrace to my oshi.
Sadly there are those that gimmick the system. Keep being true to yourself, those you clip, and for those that depend on your clips and translations to best understand and love Hololive.
I think you confused between clipper and translator. Based on your comment, you are more focus translator. Tecnically, clipper for very short moment. Though, You can combine different clip and make it longer.
@@hermangoranov3196 No, they didn't confuse the terms. It's just the fans use those 2 words interchangeably. Translators still do the work of a clipper, since they do clip the streams, but they also translate them. Easier way to remember is that all translators are clippers, but not all clippers are translators.
I respected Iinchou so much, she created the golden age of Vtubers livestream. She definitely deserved more Fubuki's scatman and Matsuri's band-aid clips are being responsible for so many people fell into this rabbit hole 😂 Guess when money is involved, there'll be drama following them.
Me too, matsuri's band-aid clip is what got me into this rabbit hole. Igyer/Lgyer (i still dont know is it an i or an l) is honestly one of the frontline clippers back in the day that got lots of people to the vtuber comunity. It is sad that the clickbait thumbnail/speed over quality clipper comunity end up getting more attention and reward than them
yea when the boom of "oh you can make money from youtube" make only sought that which why youtube turned into the state it is now and certain ones shift content SSsniper wolf is a good example used to do gameplay with commentary but after the adpocalypse and boom she just reacts to stuff with those things the kids cling to as many editors for big streamers and creators sadly do too.
2019-2020 clippers will forever be cemented as heroes of the vtuber community. They we're the 3 kings that brought gifts for jesus, The bringer of hope to us weebs when we needed it the most. If it wasn't for them I would bet that the vtuber industry as a whole wouldn't be as big as they are today. And they gave us exactly what we needed at best time possible (Pandemic).
To a degree, I also blame the UA-cam landscape; it's had a habit of bringing out the worst in communities, & clips of vtubers aren't the first ones. I'm not excusing them when they're knowingly doing wrong, but blame where blame is due.
How is UA-cam responsible? It's the unfortunate fact that people like controversial / lewd content sells. To make the ecosystem better, both the viewers and the clippers are responsible.
As someone who's still very new to both the world if Vtubers AND Vtuber clips, I entered the hobby to not only practice video editting again but also to archive my favorite moments from my oshis' streams and to share these moments to like minded people. Heck, i actually didnt know clipping was a thing, lucrative or even acknowledged by the Vtubers until i entered the rabbit hole. I do my best to practice good clipping by making sure some of the stuff I clip still have context. I did recently monetize my clips but due to the length of many the clips I make, I don't make money out of them and I even turn off monetization on clips of Vtubers addressing serious topics (it doesnt feel right to even earn one cent from that kind of thing). The money wasn't what I was aiming for (and to be honest, my goal at the time was to get the community tab just so i can share my clips better). Im just happy I can contribute support to my oshis this way because Im not in a good financial state to donate to their supas or to their merch. I do get immense joy most of all when I get to see a clip finished, share it and people express their love for our oshi after watching these moments we shared or missed during their streams.
As a (bad) clipper, the points you made resonated with me on a personal level. I was there when the Vtuber boom happened and I started doing this because I wanted to give back to this wonderful community that helped me through a tough time of my life, and you could see this exact same type of passion in the work of every clipper out there. But as the numbers kept rising and rising and the scene became more... "competitive", some of them took to another path that could benefit themselves too. I obviously condemn the action, but I honestly cannot find it in me to blame them. If you do this for long enough it gets difficult to outright ignore numbers rising and rising and wanting a slice of that. I myself am guilty of having employed some clickbait to inflate my numbers a little bit. Hell, one of my most viewed videos is the textbook definition of clickbait and it unironically keeps me up at night cause I feel bad about it, especially after the Kami clips incident when I decided to outright not monetize my clips. It's really easy to fall into the "this will make views" mentality, but my personal most important rule when making a clip is respect. Respect for the talents, for the viewers, and for yourself. If you edit your clips with respect in mind it doesn't matter if you're not the best editor out there, it will show in your work and reward you for it as I have experienced firsthand. Clip with your heart, not with your brain. Sorry for the wall of text, but this video has indeed moved something in me, so thank you dearly for that my friend. Be fantastic to eachother and have the greatest rest of the day you can have c:
If youre talking about the pomu clip, dont feel too guilty about it. It is not a bad clickbait in my opinion, because it doesnt make people missunderstood and the context is clear that her and chat is roleplaying/imagining things. Hell, you don't even put a lewd thumbnail with out of context text in title/thumbnail. The only clickbaity one is the title but it is not to the point that it is misleading. I dont know if this can do much but i hope this do help you feel better
Remember when Hololive Moments pulled their mask off when Taiwan Incident Happened? They literally were one of the "best" clippers until they showed up they were actually having a Profit of it. Absolutely a Shameful moment in Vtuber Clippers history
They had been posing as a very big pseudo-official clipping channel for a long time, using the agency name and logo. A lot of people even mistook them for the real deal. When the shitstorm happened, they raised the CCP flag high and proud, claiming they deserve the importance and respect for being a representative of the Chinese fans. Heck, they were claiming credits for both fan and official works collaborated by the Bilibili community to justify demanding harsher punishment for Coco. (For me though, the suspensions really were to shield the talents from all the hate in the guise of "punishments.")
They pretty much ceased all clipping at that moment, but it would be safe to say that if they had tried to continue making clips, they would have to prepare for a LOT of hate
Watched the whole thing, very good point you have here. This is why I don't translate serious clips because I know my current Japanese is only good enough to do basic clips or memes. Regarding views, it would be a lie to say I don't care about them, but I'm not going to monetize my channel anyways so that's a different story. I understand how tempting it can be for some people you mentioned to stray away from the right path in the face of the almighty algorithm, especially when they're profiting out of it. So I guess one of the most important rule for any clipper is when you're making more negative impact than positive impact to the audience, or worse, your oshis themselves, that's where you need to draw the line.
Before watching video: Original clippers exist solely to spread hololive oversea and for those that didn't have time to catch streams, I am extremely thankful to them, as I like many other fall down the rabbit hole during the pandemic due to those clips. As hololive continue to increase in popularity, more people will view clips, which of course attract those that wishes to make money as there is now a valid demand for it and a financial incentive to do so. All we can really do is don't watch the clippers we don't agree with. After: Agreege, personal opinion, but you don't have to give a clippers that have done wrong in the past a second chance. If they have truly learned their lesson, they can easily continue clipping by creating a new channel and starting over and no one will know if they really cared about their popularity in the community.
I'd say we can forgive them and give them another chance, but don't trust them until they actually change. Or don't forgive them at all, only do if they finally changed. And like you said, there are some who would start over and do the same crap all over again. It's their nature, their evil purpose. (I was thinking of inserting a monsoon quote)
I can agree about the part where you start over redeeming themselves but it is already a second chance. But if they apologize and ask for another chance, why not give them a chance show that they changed for the better.
This was incredibly helpful, I took a break in watching vtubers and when I came back I didn't understand why there is hate on clippers so I just ignored it mainly because I was busy and just want to watch vtubers, it's only now that I understood what happened
It was funny hearing you talk about how clipping got to where it is nowadays, as it kind of reminds me of a arms race scenario. Also, Casuals are the biggest double edge sword for any community, as they are usually not going to do their due diligence and they don’t have time to make sure that what they are consuming is correct. It is why I believe a good community will try steering the casuals in the right direction, as you don’t want to be too demanding on them, but also don’t want them getting up in arms over misinformation.
This reminds me of a theory that was born mostly as a joke but reached a serious conclusion. Cipolla's laws of human stupidity, or something. I'll spare you my long and unwarranted summary and analysis of the theory and say that what you said about steering the casuals is 100% on the money. The trick is to simply continue to clip things, even if incompetent clippers get to the first and with all the clickbait fixings, and just have the receipts of the differences speak for themselves when it comes time to air said incompetent clippers out. That or have the clippers who still respect the streamers congregate in one place and emerge better for it, causing, even if only a little, an increase in their clips' already good quality. I feel like this video accomplished both.
It's really a case of the smaller side of a group making the rest look bad, the cllickbait clipper get more view so that's what most people see and think that's the majority of what clipper do, but in reality it's a small portion overall.
It's also a sort of meme in itself tho. There has been a solid change after some controversy in the spanish clippers scenery too, given companies and vtubers telling clippers to stop clickbait with lewd and out of context stuff that makes them look bad or warps their image, and clippers apologized and stopped doing it, because they were just memeing on their oshi and vtubers they watch.
There is one thing that happened last year in the CN clipping community that I think you can research on too (though it's mostly in Chinese) Basically tldr, one of the clipper channel (诗音的烤肉架) started to get greedy, that he actively having multiple peoples and accounts to attack other clippers so that people will watch his channel more. He even laughs at his viewers (secretly in his private discord) saying that the viewers are just a bunch of stupid who will watch anything they put out (or something like that). Eventually someone revealed how messed up they are, and the guy took down the channel.
This pattern happens with every niche hobby that obtains mainstream popularity, really. The first generations of fans genuinely do it for the love of the hobby, and with their hard work they spread it all over the world. Unfortunately, popularity attracts all kinds of parasites such as grifters and politicians. This happened to anime and videogames; just look at everytime somebody at Twitter inevitably complains about the most recent and popular release. From this context it's understandable why "gatekeepers" (fans who believe their hobbies should never become popular) behave that way.
yeah being a big fan of certain game series made me realize gatekeeping (when done right) is 100% a good thing. some series needed more gatekeeping like Assassins creed and Mass Effect and some I gatekeep to an extent in hopes that the series wont get watered down and become something that feels familiar but distant.
A case of “You either die the hero, or you live long enough to see yourselves become the villain.” This only applies to some clippers, though. While most VTubers nowadays will say “Hello, clippers” with a notable sense of derision (understandably so after you’ve seen your own ahegao face more than 10 times), I do see that other VTubers are still happy to see clippers. I think someone said this already but: If your oshi is happy to see you, you’re doing something right. And holy crud, it’s like Smash Bros in this comment section with all these stars!
After moving out of the hololive community I feel like this is more of a hololive problem Ive seen almost nothing from other companys or indies clippers like I do in the hololive fandom.
@@MrTigracho Well mostly because they(NijiEN specifically) are like balls to the wall insane those are basically clickbait from the get go no need to flavor them
as a clipper myself, it's a shame that some clippers turned to the dark side and started doing it for the money. I hope they remember why they even started clipping in the first place, to capture memorable moments for others to see!
Its kind of impressive that all the motions that the anime fansubbing community went through in about 30+ years, the clipper community did in about 12 months.
I remember the times when UA-cam always give recommendations that has a "click bait" thumbnail on them but since I don't ever click on them they stopped appearing.
I'm 17 seconds in and I'm already overwhelmed with *catharsis* Whilst I'm sure many Depressed Nousagi subscribers will know of him, I just want to mention my favourite clipper: *SLOW BERRY* - truly underrated. No BS, just interesting clips. His clips can be 2 minutes or 20 minutes. He's an unsung hero IMO.
Looking into Nijianji and Vshojo's side, clippers are mostly wholesome for the time being; many vtubers even know clipper's name and comment on them often.
@@zakral1 I mean, as the other comment stated, they created clippers corner and even hiring clippers to make shorts for the official nijinsanji channel, so it's a different approach compared to hololive at least.
Sashimi, Cooksie and MeiMei, Innsomenya and a dozen more clippers are fantastic clippers, and absolutely deserve some money for their hard work. If you have any more good ones, definitely drop their names. I think people tend to only focus on negatives.
Osekkai is one of the only clippers I actually sub to, he is one of the few who really elevates the original content with amazing editing, showing context for what is being discussed or doing zooms and pans with perfect comedic timing and even adding funny little skits or jokes but without taking it so far as to become more of a meme channel (like Soju who edits her stuff so heavily it's almost a different type of content). His videos feel like clips + a little extra sauce that makes them even better than the original.
Sashimi used a LOT of lewd thumbnails and lewd clickbait titles tho, to the point I unsub & stopped watching their clips entirely. Dunno if they still doing those sh*t to this day. I recommend you all to watch Sushi Clips instead. They never broke the rules, never does clickbaits and sexy thumbnails, and very consistent clipper until this day.
@@Cosmoman78 Sashimi has been pretty tame for a while now, to the point where I'm surprised to know they had a history of using lewd thumbnails at all.
@@Cosmoman78 I’m only a little iffy on Sushi Clips solely bc of the amount of clips they do upload per day. If you do not mind having 12+ clips in your sub box from them alone a day, I’ll also second Sushi Clips.
@@melodywawichi802 I subbed to Sushi, but not activating my notification bell. That way I get their clips time to time in my timeline, but not in my notification tab.
Some of my favourite and not so favourite channels: Sushi is still king of speedsubbers. Consistent and just the right dosage. Sometimes inaccurate but whatever, I just wanted a dopamine hit. Kopla and Hololive moments I think about a lot have some of the most wholesome meme clips. Noises, Gundamfinal, Oboretai, Kiriku, Osekkai, are among the best condensed story edits. Oshi specific channels like 35P Nakama, Yuna, Yura, HAI, holoyume, there are so many of them. Then there's Iroha and Fuwa who are probably the same person and holy shit the shame they don't have.
I remember when my YT recommendation were only vtuber clips/streams and nothing else then vtuber community drama started to pop up and I decided that its time for me to yeet out of the rabbit hole by watching everything but vtuber related right now I still get vtubers in my feeds, theres a teenee bit of niji/holo clips but mostly I see small channels or vtubers I oshi'd back in the days ( ayame and roboco streams or announcements )
Finally someone spoke up to this. I have been seeing so many problems with clippers lately (including but not limited to: clickbait titles, lewd thumbnail and/or title, all that bad shit.) and this definitely helped me fix my view to them.
I recall the days when I wanted to tune in to this fandom but then there's me who can't fully enjoy the experience because I don't understand the context for most parts which obviously made me feel left out. Thankfully clippers were there to save the kaigai nikis like myself. The pioneer clippers would always be the unsung heroes of this community (o o)7
Ah look One of the good guy clippers I would defo like to say you did an awesome job doing the clipping And in case of any possible translation oopsies you dont fully integrate the subtitles into the clip But instead used youtube's captions feature instead so you can edit such on the fly UA-cam captions are still finicky but your format works wonders
Shotam and holocrumb are the 2 clippers I love for their editing and the ones I trust. They’re funny and definitely deserve the respect they should have for their amazing editing.
Clippers are amazing people! As a small streamer, I don't really have anyone clipping me so I tried making my own clips and man it do be hard! My respect just went over the roof at how amazing these people are in editing videos and making them really fun to watch!
ShoTam and Holocrumb have definitely become a great breath of fresh air for me. Their editing and straightforwardness in what we receive makes them very enjoyable to watch. Personally despite the stubs along the way i'd say clipper quality is at an all time high which has a potential to go even higher
Dedicated fans clipping for the enjoyment/supporting their oshis and not for the clout/clicks... Times were much simpler back then. Hopefully this vid of yours becomes an eye-opener to present/future clippers alike, making sure they don't stray from the ideal path/mindset. Aside from the few bad apples, I very much appreciate all that clippers have done to support and grow this community/industry, getting it to where it is now. As a side note, one of the main reasons I personally never got into clipping myself (as in making them consistently) is because I didn't want my love/enjoyment for vtubers to eventually become a 'grind' rather than a hobby. Instead, I'm contempt with just watching their streams live, clips made by others, and making fan content from time to time. As a vtuber fan of 5 years, my enjoyment of them has never declined nor have I've ever experienced burnout ^^
5:22 that vid in the middle bottom with marine in the thumbnail was actually what started my very deep fall into the rabbit hole because my recommended slowly but surely got filled with clips
I miss those last 3 months of 2019 when I fell into the hole and there were like 5 people doing clips regularly I still fondly remember Lyger, thanks to him I choose to follow more hololive than nijisanji, that at that time they were on the same ground about clips
The thing you quickly start to notice about clippers is how good they seem to be at doing translations when necessary and how much effort do they put into their clips. There are many basic clip channels that just clip out a funny segment and translate it and I love them for it because I certainly can't do that and I get to enjoy that funny moment that I didn't really understand from the livestream. Of course, my FAVORITE clippers are the ones that really flex their editing skills to not only present a funny moment from a stream to you but to add to the dramatic comedy with their clever editing. Rickchama and Holocrumb Ch. are two specific ones that come to mind immediately for their excellent editing skills for their Hololive clips. And then I've gotta shout out Lilac Ch. specifically for their Niji EN clips which they add so much to IMO.
As a leader of a clipping group that has been extremely focused on quality over quantity, I definitely agree with some points, not with others. I don't know how I feel about it as a whole. Part of it is that I'm tired and pretty much jaded. That said, this is not a bad take, appreciate the video and at least trying to spark a productive conversation. In the end, the point you made that I think resonates the most (unfortunately) is that most people don't care about quality. They just want quantity. They don't want to think. They don't care if it's completely accurate. This isn't an issue with just vtuber "clips," I think it's a huge problem with youtube as a whole. Alas. Not something we can do anything about anyways. Cheers.
I'm a casual watcher and I have a playlist of almost every vtuber clips I watch. (I still update it from time to time cuz it became a habit of mine. I made it so I can re-live the moments but now it's just a reflex whenever I saw a clip) It's a mixed bag but you can still pretty much see how the trends of clipping changed and well, my personal feelings at that period (ex. Coco's Grad and Rushia Situation) but there are also the times when I started discovering new vtubers. My favorite moments were the start of making the playlist. It's a very wide range of vtuber clips from small to popular, wierd to wholesome, hilarious to lewd (in late 2021 it's mosty lewd). And you can see how I slowly turned into mostly watching hololive clips. I kinda just wanted to share this journey and it's 2 years now I think in the making. I still love watching vtubers and I can't really imagine myself stoping watching them. I may take breaks cuz I watch anime, play games, school and stuff but I will still see them at my timeline.
being a clipper myself, i feel like i might stop sometime soon i feel like i regret some of the shit i’ve done and honestly i know some of the weird shit other clippers have done and whilst i haven’t got involved in them, i still feel second hand embarrassment
Often times I see people who are way too deep in the rabbit hole wondering why the so called bad clippers still get so many views, but the reality is that for the most part even Otakmori, who has basically been labeled the poster child for bad clippers, has more genuinely good content than bad. It's just a few high profile instances of bad titles or inaccurate translation that has ruined their reputation. Which is fair enough and maybe if you don't understand japanese it's probably best to take their translations with a grain of salt, but since I can understand it I still watch their clips whenever one catches my eye and they're usually perfectly fine and they also will often clip moments no one else has or faster than anyone else. Recently I was looking for a good clip of Kanata's girlfriend prank on Laplus to send someone and surprisingly Otakmori's was by far the best, they were only one to include the full context and explanation of the prank and edited it down really well to include all the meat and no filler. These channels get views because they mostly do good work and most people are unaware of the few instances where they didn't. The truly bad clipper don't get popular in the first place or get reported and taken down by Cover since vtuber fans generally don't like to see their oshis portrayed in a bad light.
"it's probably best to take Otakmori's translations with a grain of salt" Thing is, most VTuber fans don't do that. They blindly believe everything stated by the clippers/translators. It's why we HAVE to stop watching Otakmori's videos because people just don't change overnight and there are tons, and I mean TONS of good clippers out there that don't even have half of his views. We should be giving them views instead of Otakmori. There was this instance that a clipper channel kept painting Kanata's mom as a bad person, even though Kanata didn't even imply that, and the clip viewers eat it up because they thought the translation was fine.
@@SoraRaida yeah and that same clipper is STILL doing the same kind of clickbait today on a different channel. Stirring up drama and misinformation and not giving a flying frick about everyone calling them out and just pretends like nothing happened every time they post a new video.
@@SoraRaida The fact is that if 95% of the videos are good and 4% are questionable but not harmful, casual viewers aren't going to stop watching either way because they probably don't know about or understand the 1% that are genuinely damaging. If you know enough Japanese to catch bad translations imo it's best to just correct them in the comments so people might see it who don't follow clipper drama on the hololive reddit or whatever, and if its clearly malicious then report it to cover.
@@soasertsus "it's best to just correct them in the comments" Ah, funny how you said that, cuz Otakmori has a history of deleting translation correction from his comment section.
I found Hololive through Pekora's clip. It was a minecraft clip where she throw her sword into the lava. I don't remember which channel post that clip, but it instantly brought me back to vtuber hole, after Kizuna Ai. Seeing many clickbait clips now really suck, thankfully there is syill animation clips now.
Yeah I’ve noticed this has been happening in the clipping community. Honestly, my favorite clippers are the ones that seem to stray more from “Drama” and more so dedicate to editing or finding clips that help show off their Oshi in the best ways! The ones that come to mind first are “JShayTranslations”, “HoloCrumb,” and “Kowkarot.” Love them
I love how some(if not, most) of my favorite EN, JP, and ID clippers are here... banding together to learn from each other. You folks are my heroes as I can only watch my oshi's clips. I either miss the live, or don't have enough time to watch the whole VOD, unless I'm off work. Bigger thanks to the drunk bunny w/ the bottle of JD for the honesty. And for gathering my clipper heroes. Thank you all for making my Vtuber rabbit hole journey as fun and as convenient for someone who works 8-9hrs a day, 6days a week!
I used to do clipping a few months back but had to stop since I was graduating from school soon. It sucks that some of the clipping community had resorted to such extremes to grow channel numbers and attempted to profit off the videos. Huge props to clippers for increasing awareness of vtubers and bringing more people into the depths of the rabbit hole. Cheers
I think there was a weird growing period where people wanted clippers to "remain pure" in the community. A year ago when you talked about VTuber clipper monetization a lot of people would be adamantly against it and most people wouldn't bat an eyelash, especially after all the stuff with Sodafunk being the first big clipper who was just outwardly making money off the name of being a clipper. Nowadays, most orgs, from Nijisanji to small startups and indies are actively hiring clippers, monetization of clips is much more widely accepted, and the same people who wouldn't bat an eyelash at those complaints now tell those people to mind their own business. Monetizing clips has definitely become more widely accepted, which is definitely a good thing.
Getting money from clipping for fun is good, but once the money gets to them, that's where it brings the worse in them It's weird, but it's human nature really "Give someone power, you'll truly know who they really are"
Whenever discussions surrounding clippers come up I end up finding myself missing community subtitling again. When youtube effectively killed the feature by enforcing that the creator *has* to allowlist other channels trying to submit subs instead of just letting anyone to submit them if the channel had the feature enabled, it pretty much killed the community subbing scene for those early-wave vtubers, which in turn killed off a lot of overseas interest in vtubers that did actual youtube-channel style content as opposed to streaming. The great thing about community subs is that so long as there were translators willing to help out, you could watch the videos right on the creator's channel, so in a way the change facilitated a lot more clipping channels to pop up, but because of the nature of clipping a lot less international video traffic actually goes towards the chuubas now. I still go back and watch some of the older OmeSis and Kaguya Luna videos as well as their contemporaries from the time, which really goes to show some of the staying power of the feature; once a video was subbed in another language that couldn't be taken away, but now that vtubing has evolved more into a streaming meta it's not even really worth trying to engage with community subtitles, which is a real shame.
30-something year old wage man here. I never had the time to watch streams, so without clippers I wouldn't have found most vtubers. For that I am eternally grateful for.(◕‿◕✿) Corruption isn't something you notice when you are corrupted. You can easily justify it to yourself. *"Attention grabbing image."* and *"Thought provoking title."* are just excuses for lying clickbait, I would know, I used it for fun in the past. Only difference is that I do it for the _lols_ , not for money. But hey, that's the UA-cam hustle, right? Gotta do whatever it takes to get that bread, right? 私は危険ではありません、私は危険です!(▀̿̿Ĺ̯̿̿▀̿ ̿)
Some clippers have become the one thing people hate the most... News company headlines. It's like the famous line from TwoFace have said " You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain." And that's why I prefer VTuber animation/ animated
Actually there is also a Chinese clipper who is exclusively dedicated to Sana (ua-cam.com/channels/O4XSQt42FfJ3aOLHA9E6DA.html). His outro in clips is amazing thanks to the classical music, the space images, and the English vocabulary used in the clip.
@@sixbases6793 I know, right? There are some great foreign language HoloEN clippers out there. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Spanish and even Russian.
This man is spitting so many facts. I can't really argue with you. You are right about everything. I watch actual streams here and there when I'm really interested but clips have editings and subs which is making it easier to understand. Also many of them stream while I'm sleeping and watching the full stream in archive is not as exciting as watching it live, except if it's not something REALLY exciting so you wanna see everything of it
The thing that especially sucks about thumbnails is that everything has gotten so clickbaity nowadays. It's not just a problem with clippers (although the worse ones are especially egregious in that regard); I've seen it pretty much everywhere even in what feels like it should be informational videos. In the very least this community has some coordination to control it a bit but I do feel like it's likely only going to get worse through the years.
greetings sir! i just wanted to complement and thank you for making these well made videos as i tend to be lazy and not research anything, instead watching explanatory videos, and your voice and presentation is really enjoyable!
What's funny about kami clips is they didn't learn a thing. Gone for a few months to come back and apologize to Kiara but demands she responds during a stream.
Its so god damn real. I used to watch lots of clips. Now I watch almost none. Too much pollution of drama, clickbait and shitty translation. Now I really just subbed to whatever en vtubers I watch and either watch whole streams or vods. Also shout out to yt comment dudes that timestamp EVERYTHING. You are the real heroes.
I feel like one of the best clippers out there is Kowkarot. During my uni days I didn’t have time to catch up with the hololive en minecraft streams as and when they happened so I would watch their vids alot. Their videos feel like genuinely edited youtube game videos and usually do cool things like merging perspectives amongst streams and combing arcs together- from it they make decent length and fun videos in their own reformed sort of way which make them fun to watch as stand alones from the streams. As far as I know the communities feelings towards them is pretty positive so uh- here is a big ups to Kowkarot!
I've been a fan of Mito since her beginning in early 2018 and I started putting out translated clips of her back in early 2020, during a time when nobody in the EN circle knew who she or Nijisanji in general was. I got into clipping back then out of a desire to promote my favorite content creator and to express my own love for her as a fan. I don't put out clips as much nowadays since plenty of others have picked up the mantle, but I still try to promote good videos from clippers that deserve more recognition whenever I can.
NOTE: The thing about a lot of fans too is that they don't know any whenever a translated clip is accurate, and thus breed a lot of rrats whenever a translation is exaggerated or completely wrong. And please, don't be a douchebag and harrass the channels I've used as an example.
Okkie dokkie

I think its not much a bully if they are already one right? (even you don't harass tho)
Don't harass a channel by leaving comments, YT algorithm might judge it as a positive engagement.
Just press "don't recommend me this channel" YT algorithm will recommended it less to other people.
@@spanikMuch i did that to bad news channel in the community and now there either infamous or irrelevant.

Now this is my man's. Big ups to the clippers.
Great writeup! It's nice to hear these things from both sides. I don't think Nousagi misrepresented anything in the video but it's good to have some kind of affirmation I guess you could call it? I'm not great with words but yeah, thanks for the insight!
@@srkares I agree!
To a casual viewer, or someone who is new to the whole thing, it doesn't affect or bother them that much, so theoretically the views _can_ still be clocked
To those of us who have been in the rabbit hole awhile now, we know who to avoid, but there are wayyyy more casual watchers than regulars

But it is nice to finally have some word on the topic matter from Cover
now we have to wait for our own form papers to be accept by covercorps!
cant wait to be the officials clippers of hololive!🥳🥳
The funny thing is you've basically described the process of how news channels turn into celebrity tabloid garbage noone cares about. Good shit on the ones still working based on passion, you guys are the only reason I can understand the JP talents
I noticed that as well. I'm glad for the quality clippers since I don't have time to watch whole streams or VODs.
Some of my favorite comments I get sometimes, are those that mention them falling into the rabbit hole because of one of my clips.
A very well done video!
Almost everything you've said is a pretty fair judgement of the current state of clippers. Personally, even I myself am guilty of some of the things that were mentioned in the video, but what I've learnt is that as long as you are willing to own up to your mistakes, the community is pretty forgiving.

Nijisanji handled their clippers really well by making them start a community called clippers corner and even go as far as hiring them to make shorts for the official nijinsanji channel

Yeah,that's really cool
They also join together to celebrate a liver's birthday or an anniversary and make something for them and that goes to show how much they appreciate them, and that is something truly special.
Unfortunately that doesn’t seem like something cover would look into doing. As far as I know cover has pretty much never engaged with the clipping community in any capacity. Most clippers are integrated into the culture and content by the talents themselves who will commission various projects or direct fans towards their loyal clippers.

Pros of Clippers ( Taken from the video)
- Brought people Vtubers they wouldn't of known about without the clips
- Different highlights or interesting info can be found easily rather then a watching the entire stream for it
- Legendary clips forever
- Helping the Vtuber industry grow
- At first it was just people who wanted to remember fun moments from they're favourite Vtubers
- Try to learn a new language so they can understand these Vtubers
- A single good clip may be the way to jump start your career - Nousagi
Cons
- Now with the boom of Vtubers hundreds of clippers are clipping streams to maybe make some monetary gain
- Many clippers now use more sexual thumbnails to get clicks
- Dramatising the titles to make the clip sound serious and full of drama when in reality it's just nothing at all
- Now clippers have a bad reputation in the Vtuber community
- Many Vtuber fans are casual so when these thumbnails and clips come up they'll click anyway
I hope I got all the points from the video! It's a great summary of the situation Nousagi and I'm glad you're covering it
It's all come to full circle of a regular youtube content.
It's all start for fun and giggles, sometimes it's educational. To something we know right now.

Littlest Pet Shop? Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time. A long time
As someone with a short-lived clipper career, the debut of holo myth was great for me.

A Flare clipper/translator! Good work out there!
Sadly there are those that gimmick the system. Keep being true to yourself, those you clip, and for those that depend on your clips and translations to best understand and love Hololive.
Honestly you shouldnt feel that way. I think those less than one minutes clips are just their gimmick and you should still proud of your work.

I'm not excusing them when they're knowingly doing wrong, but blame where blame is due.
Yeah this Twitch is kinda to blame here imo
I feel like VTube clipping and normal streamer clipping have a clash in ideals

That's good to hear! Your intentions is just getting good at editing and sharing your love to your oshi's.
I like it.

But at least you realized its wrong and u admitted to it.. apologizing publicly like now.. but kami clips doesnt seems to do it
If youre talking about the pomu clip, dont feel too guilty about it.
I am glad that you have realized it

Wrong
I'd say we can forgive them and give them another chance, but don't trust them until they actually change.
Or don't forgive them at all, only do if they finally changed.
And like you said, there are some who would start over and do the same crap all over again. It's their nature, their evil purpose.
(I was thinking of inserting a monsoon quote)
@@RavensEagle You should really elaborate on your claim if you want people to listen to you
I can agree about the part where you start over redeeming themselves but it is already a second chance. But if they apologize and ask for another chance, why not give them a chance show that they changed for the better.

There is one thing that happened last year in the CN clipping community that I think you can research on too (though it's mostly in Chinese)
Basically tldr, one of the clipper channel (诗音的烤肉架) started to get greedy, that he actively having multiple peoples and accounts to attack other clippers so that people will watch his channel more. He even laughs at his viewers (secretly in his private discord) saying that the viewers are just a bunch of stupid who will watch anything they put out (or something like that).
Eventually someone revealed how messed up they are, and the guy took down the channel.
Ah I read about this somewhere. That's messed up
oh wow.

Big ups to Vaan and Soju, can always count on them for amazing clips!
Vaan made great clips with great editing.
for me, even tho it's not so related to hololive, Yura's pretty much the only clipper I watch often nowadays
A case of “You either die the hero, or you live long enough to see yourselves become the villain.”
This only applies to some clippers, though.

Personally despite the stubs along the way i'd say clipper quality is at an all time high which has a potential to go even higher
im always gratefull to clipper they introduce me to vtuber and even help some vtuber (miko) on verge of retiring now became one of vtuber icon
I miss those last 3 months of 2019 when I fell into the hole and there were like 5 people doing clips regularly
I still fondly remember Lyger, thanks to him I choose to follow more hololive than nijisanji, that at that time they were on the same ground about clips
I made it so I can re-live the moments but now it's just a reflex whenever I saw a clip)
It's a mixed bag but you can still pretty much see how the trends of clipping changed and well, my personal feelings at that period (ex.
I may take breaks cuz I watch anime, play games, school and stuff but I will still see them at my timeline.
being a clipper myself, i feel like i might stop sometime soon
i feel like i regret some of the shit i’ve done and honestly i know some of the weird shit other clippers have done and whilst i haven’t got involved in them, i still feel second hand embarrassment
"it's probably best to take Otakmori's translations with a grain of salt"
Thing is, most VTuber fans don't do that.
@@SoraRaida ah I remember that Kanata-Sayuri clip. I dont know if it still exist, but many people still believe that until today.
I remeber that channels name its Neko Mikuri he's a good clipper and also his an official clipper too for Nijisanji.
@@lilpeko4328 yeah Neko Mikuri is a legend
The dude went on to put a pekora pyramid in the desert
some of these vtuber clippers are so amazing that the vtubers love them.
Kowkarot is one of few prime example. HoloEN, especially Kiara, liked them so much.
neroid
Cheers
2:19 no aqua neighbors?
That's the one who make me fall down deep to this rabbit hole
clippers are important to a vtuber's growth and exposure, this is evident by that clipper einnashu, mans literally a savior
Clips of Aqua and Shion's neighbourhood war was what got me down the rabbit hole.
Except getting HIRED to do work is not the same as video monetization on contents that the clippers don't even own
Getting money from clipping for fun is good, but once the money gets to them, that's where it brings the worse in them
It's weird, but it's human nature really
"Give someone power, you'll truly know who they really are"
The money clippers get is really just table scraps, the problem is that they're generally immature people that cant conduct themselves professionally.
Damn so sodafunk is getting hate?
For that I am eternally grateful for.(◕‿◕✿)
Corruption isn't something you notice when you are corrupted.
Interesting perspective, thanks for sharing it.
I'll come back to this every now and then to keep me grounded.
Some clippers have become the one thing people hate the most... News company headlines. It's like the famous line from TwoFace have said " You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain."
And that's why I prefer VTuber animation/ animated
That's why I usually stick to the one's I trust, with simple non-clickbait titles and/or thoses with amazing editing.
HoloCrumb is to precious for this world. It's the only clipper that gives Sana the love and respect (yesn't) she deserves
@@angelodescordo8455 specifically taiwanese
@@angelodescordo8455 NO WAY
@@sixbases6793 I know, right?
Its like a microcosm of 2010’s youtube, Right down to the sexualized thumbnails. Kinda wild
Shout out to cooksie, OG, no click bait, gives the views what we want
I miss the golden era of fully translated stream. Its was truly magical.
And there are Chad Vtuber content supporters like Kanauru, 2many2snacks, and even Eleos.
I've been a fan of Mito since her beginning in early 2018 and I started putting out translated clips of her back in early 2020, during a time when nobody in the EN circle knew who she
or Nijisanji in general was. I got into clipping back then out of a desire to promote my favorite content creator and to express my own love for her as a fan. I don't put out clips as much nowadays since plenty of others have picked up the mantle, but I still try to promote good videos from clippers that deserve more recognition whenever I can.
Fucking king. Thank you for your contributions
you're how i got to understand a lot about mito at first, thank you for your work
You are the one that introduced mito to me, thank you for your clips
