In a way, it is indeed Ultra Instinct.
He is processing everything around him with 100% concentration.
My only disappointment was the god of the sea didn't use any freaking water. 😒
It’s different yet the same actually. Ultra Instinct moved by instinct, basically no thoughts at all. Meanwhile, Kojiro’s Thousand Image Defense is calculated repeatedly for him to dodge and block. Which means that he have to think repeatedly and tired his mental ability first before dodge or block or strike.
No matter, they both became tired af after the fight because of the same principle, tired themselves out. Kojiro tired because he thinks too much, while Goku tired because of the energy used to move without thinking.
Also, there is a speculation that the reason why Poseidon doesn’t use any water to attack is that he views Gods as a perfect being that doesn’t need anything. He fight with himself, alone, as a Perfect God that doesn’t need any tricks like water bending to win.
Which backfires severely.

Season 2 confirmed, and also I love that after this win, against this particular god, Kojiro could now walk into pretty much any room with any gods in it and just be like "It smell like bitch in here" and none of them could do anything about it. They could try, but he already killed the guy that they were all scared of, so it's doubtful they'd succeed.

In China, there is a thing called "An emperor's life is greater than a general". I say that roughly in English because in Chinese, it was written differently.
Ying Zhing was an Emperor, whereas Lu Bu was a general. Also, brute force wasn't really Lu Bu's strong suit either.
In the Records of three kingdoms, Lu Bu was basically a man who always plan to run or hide from disadvantage situations. That was why he lost.
This image of Lu Bu is from Romance of Three Kingdoms, which was a novel.
The reason why i asked the question above, was because i was not certain how the writer got the source for Lu Bu.
However, based on your answer, i can certainly say that, this Lu Bu was based on Romance of Three Kingdoms, not Records of Three Kingdoms.
The novel was 70% inaccurate, whereas the Records are 90% correct.
If they make this fight in the anime, as a manga reader, I have only one thing to say: prepare yourselves. This is going to be a very wild and very bumpy ride...

Jack the Ripper vs Hercules is by far the best and the longest fight.
Manga readers put a high bar in the series especially on Adam vs Zeus fight apparently it's one of the best fight in the series and to what I've seen most are disappointed because it didn't met their expectations but to me I haven't read anything about this I just knew it was hyped and I get into it without any expectation so when I watch it I really do enjoyed it and it's not as bad as what people make it seems to be and I hope season will be made in the future
I'm fine tbh with the animation. The Hercules and JAck fight doesn't really need good movement like what was expected from the Adam vs Zeus fight since Jack rarely fought Hercules up close

It was a close fight had any of poseidon's hits been 1 inch closer kojiro could have died. So he'd have to master poseidon first than zeus if anything.
@@longnameincoming1219 Poseidon could have killed all of his brothers in a 3v1 if he wanted, it was said so in the manga, this includes Zeus. Kojiro just so happened to be that overpowered and Poseidon just so happened to be that prideful to not go all out from the start like Zeus did with Adam.
look i was disapointed by the animation too but saying that to someone enjoying the show as if they are wrong for liking it is a super asshole move
Imagine the animation was bad only for around 15 seconds and people won't recommend the series as a whole (*coughchibyreview), trashing it.
By the way! If no one has answered the question why Zeus has an old appearance, it's because Zeus fought Kronos. The Titan of time, Kronos, which was his father. During the fight, he aged like about a million years and that's why he looks so old.
Is that the accepted explanation? I have read the Manga and they never directly say it. I always thought it was moreso a joke since the 3 Brothers look like they are reversed age-wise

Big fan of the manga here. A lot of us are rooting for jack vs Heracles to be a movie. For those unaware, this fight is much longer than the previous ones.
The mask breaking on the ground is the smoothest piece of animation in this whole adaptation.

@@eddybrock1410 as manga reader I expected the animation to be like Ufotable level but I was wrong. I gave the anime a shot and the animation is not the worst its a decent animation. But that decent animation doesn’t fit with this anime. So I am praying that they should level up the animation just a 4 steps higher ..give more impact to the fight scenes and time the backstory properly.

If you are interested in knowing why Hercules is siding with the Gods, here is his motivation…
Hercules is actually a pretty noble and chill guy, he also gets along with the Valkyries as a big brother figure. He is actually against humanity being wiped out and plans to appeal to the gods if he claims victory for them. The reason why he fights for the gods is because he is obligated to and as a warrior, plans to fight without holding back.
hence why he was pissed when he found out his enemy was Jack at first.

There is. Anime News Network confirmed it, and Netflix already renewed them for Season 2. Should be out sometime next summer I think.
I dont wamt to read the manga but i cant wait! But i must, i watched the anime first and since its a fighting style anime im certain its worth waiting for season 2, theres just something about getting a surprise from a fully animated setup with sound and direction to boot.
I dont know if you already saw it but in fate stay nigth kojiro appears also in that anime and series is also about heros being summoned to figth

Just an FYI in the manga there on round 6 right now and since there probably gonna do 3 fights per season it may be a little bit before we get season 2

It's not bad, but it could definitely have been done a bit better in some parts. The stills completely ruined the flow of the fighting, and the music score could definitely be better as well.
@@Crimson_Titan I was very surprised how good it is after seeing a lot of people hating on it. Of course it could be a lot better animated but the overall entertainment and especially the ost was really good Imo. I definitely like watching it more than reading it for those reasons
@@zam50 Some of the OST was good, yes, but some of it could've been done much better too. And while yes, it is entertaining, it also drags a bit, with entire episodes being dedicated solely to fighters' entrances. That, combined with some of the horrible animation decisions, and this is honestly what happens when studios rush production of a manga series just cause it's gained some popularity, instead of letting it play out a bit more so they'd have more material to work with.

Actually, naw, they're done now. The anime was confirmed to have a Season 2 from Anime News Network, and the lead designer made some artwork in celebration of the success of Season 1 and going into Season 2.

Far from copy, he improved them; since he know how to counter them, he can device the better move. Because after all he was, as Brunhilde said, the best analyst. Analyst is so OP, just like how OP Rimuru is with his Great Sage, which is an analyst skill.
