This kit have 2 thick plies in the outside, right? The black limba ply attached to a maple ply, but aren't thin plies. Am I correct?

Even 6 ply, 4 ply Maple + 2 ply Gumwood, the black limba is the final veneer.

Sonor won’t do 6inch Tom for me...
Was thinking stadium select series however not sure about higher toms with maple only
How would thick maple shell with inner gum sound with 6 and 8 inch Tom with square depth...
I’m not a fan of the birch sound nor reference pure
