Drascombe Coaster 'Oa Lis' Shakedown Cruises - Chichester, Solent & Isle of Wight

Dialing in the new-to-us Drascombe Coaster. Two weekend cruises around Chichester Harbour and across to the Isle of Wight.
A bit dark and gloomy in places, so the footage is a bit grainy at times.
The Channel has playlists for Wayfarer Cruising and our abortive Round Britain attempt on a Tornado Catamaran.

Great video.👍🏻 I have a Drascombe for sale and when I watch vids like this it makes me want to keep her😃⛵ That is a great looking tent you have.

Nice Coaster.Good to see previous owner had the good sense to add a mizzen and main boom, both hugely worthwhile. My Coaster now in Ireland was Chichester Hbr based for 24 years.

Thanks for the comment. The mizzen boom was from the previous owner, the main boom is mine. Never even considered sailing without. It used to be a windsurfer mast. Works really well. We do have Ireland on our list of places to visit with her - so we might be turning up on your doorstep sometime :)

The standing headroom tent makes such a difference to cruising comfort doesn't it! Yours is the only one of that height I've seen, other than mine. Enjoy Scotland.

Yes - we call it 'The conservatory', because of its size and all the windows :)

If it's unseasonably warm right now, I can guarantee it'll be back to normal when I come up! Prob kick off at Oban, head north, see where we end up.
